Puri Jagannadh Is Deeply Upset With Media

Couple of days ago, popular news channel, ABN, had telecast a news report saying that Puri Jagannadh is least interested in Megastar’s prestigious 150th film. The channel went on to say that Puri’s announcement of Mahesh proves his disinterest. This has terribly upset numerous Mega fans and of course our hotshot director.

Expressing his displeasure over the news, Puri tweeted, ‘I request ABN.. pls don’t make such baseless stories… It hurts me n all d fans a lot..’ Many feel that the news is indeed baseless, since no director in Tollywood will misuse the golden opportunity to direct Megastar in his comeback film. With Puri’s tweet, even the fans worries will be disappeared and they all will wait for the film to kick off soon.

For the last couple of weeks, the said news channel has been telecasting several programs and even publishing articles in its newspaper, which have been maligning the reputation of the Telugu film industry. Fans are openly criticising the channel’s false reports saying that such gossips will only damage the channel’s reputation even further.

The CM of Telangana, KCR reportedly made a phone call to Jaya and congratulated on her comeback, wishing her all the best. In this regard, sources say that AIADMK has also sent an official invite to her, for the oath taking ceremony in Chennai, tomorrow on May 23.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and Jaya are close confidants and Tamil Naidu depends a lot on AP for Telugu Ganga water and other mutual interestsand it doesn’t share border with Telangana. Some of the Andhraleaders are worried whether this represents any gang up against AP,while others say it is only a courtesy call between two powerfulleaders of South India.

The verbal war between the state legislators looks an unending political scene every day. However, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu made an interesting and annoying comment on Telangana State government.

He directly said that the Telangana government is unwilling to co-operate with the Andhra Pradesh officials on any issues. This happened during the monthly review meeting with the district collectors. He further added that the Telangana State government is trying to play with the emotions of the Andhra Pradesh people.

Pawan-Dasari Film To Roll From October

We are hearing some exclusive reports regarding the upcoming film of Powestar Pawan Kalyan that is likely to be produced by Dasari Narayana Rao. It looks like Gabbar Singh is getting ready to kick start project of Dasari at the earliest.

Keeping himself busy with court cases and CBI investigation, finally Dasari breathed relief after getting bail and confirmed that his focus will be on coming out clean from the coal-scam. Sharing his excitement, he spoke a bit about Pawan’s film too.

Dasari stated that the tentative date to roll out Pawan Kalyan’s movie onto floors is October. He will be revealing the details about director and other star-cast very soon. A birdie shared that Dasari picked a happening commercial story for Pawan, which will be a masala entertainer for fans.

Meanwhile, director KS Ravindra has finished his sittings with composer Devi Sri Prasad regarding Gabbar Singh 2 and is now scouting locations for the movie. Pawan Kalyan is likely to wrap up GS 2 in 3 months time and then move to Dasari’s project.

Ram Charan’s Flight Takes Off Finally

After a long wait, Ram Charan co-owned flight company, TruJet, took off finally. Today, the 72 seat ATR aircraft made its voyage from Malaysia’s Subang Airport to RGIA Hyderabad, via Myanmar. The regular services will commence from the last week of June.

TruJet is a division of the Turbo Megha Airways Pvt Ltd, and the company got the clearances from the Ministry of Civil Aviation in 2014 itself. However, the company took its time to ensure technical standards and quality assurance before the operations begin at full. Ram Charan is acting as one of the promoters of this airline company.

Initially, the company planned to commence its services from several regional cities of Telugu states. Turbo Megha also located 18 tier II cities to operate its flights. Aimed at middle-class passengers, the company is committed to extend affordable flights to cities and towns across India.

With the Telangana government headed by K Chandrasekhar Rao hell bent on taking over 11 acres of Osmania University lands, several questions are being raised by Telangana protagonists on his sincerity towards Telangana cause.

KCR is eyeing lands belonging only to Telangana institutions, whether it is Chest Hospital at Erragadda, Secunderabad Gymkhana and Bison Polo grounds or the Osmania University lands. He even threatened to take over lands belonging to Agricutural University and Central University. All these lands are prime properties of Telangana.

However, the Chief Minister did not dare to talk about taking over vast extent of lands occupied by big business people of Andhra.

One of the classic examples is Ramoji Film City, which has huge tracts of land right from the Vijayawada national highway to the actual film city. Thousands of acres of land on either side of the road leading to the film city are left barren. If KCR has so much concern for poor, he should take over those waste lands and construct colonies for poor.

But KCR will not utter a word about RFC lands. Instead, he describes RFC as the magnificent structure and praises the vision of Ramoji. Similarly, he can also take back hundreds of acres held by big Andhra people in the name of convention centres, farm houses and also special economic zones which have now turned into real estate ventures. It is better he focuses on those properties, instead of the real Telangana assets.

It’s a year since the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh State was bifurcated to carve out separate Telangana State.

Everybody knows Telugu Desam Party also had its share in division of the State, as party president N Chandrababu Naidu had said umpteen times that he would stand by the letter he had written to the Centre seeking formation of Telangana State.

Now, Naidu is saying the bifurcation of the State was never expected.

He sprang a surprise on the media on Friday saying the people of Seemandhra thought that the division would not take place.

“It came as a rude shock to me and all the Seemandhra people. The impact of division on people was severe and the people felt unhappy over the way the division of the State took place,” he lamented.

The Chief Minister is apparently so disturbed with the bifurcation that he did not want to “celebrate” the formation of Andhra Pradesh on June 2.

He called upon the people of Andhra Pradesh to participate in Nava Nirmana Deeksha on June 2, i.e. on the day the division took place, to be held from 9.30 AM and it will continue for half an hour.

He asked the students, employees and people to participate in big numbers. He said that the Deeksha should be held in a manner that the persons who divided the State should feel jealous and suggested to the employees staying in Hyderabad to go to Andhra Pradesh and participate in the Deeksha. He hoped that the Deeksha would become an inspiration for the people of Andhra Pradesh State.

Obviously, Naidu is trying to gain the sympathy of the people of Seemandhra by still playing the Samaikyandhra card. If bifurcation was a shock to him, why didn’t he withdraw his letter from the Centre on supporting bifurcation before the elections and vote against the bifurcation bill in Lok Sabha?

Why didn’t he adopt a clear stand against division as YSR Congress party did? And why did he join hands with BJP which had supported the UPA in dividing the State? Well, Naidu has no answers to these questions.

Shocking: No Story for Auto Johnny!

Puri Jagannadh was confirmed to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Prestigious 150th film. He was choosen from a huge list of directors. That normally gets you a doubt how Puri managed to impress Chrianjeevi and what is in that film script that bowled over the Megastar.

But you will be shocked to know Puri was choosen with out the story for the film. In a TV show anchored by Nagababu’s daughter, Niharika, Puri revealed that he impressed the Megastar by just telling the title – Auto Johnny and the story for the film was prepared later.

This is definitely a strange one since Chiranjeevi is always known to finalize his projects after hearing to the bound scripts. He is even employing the same for his son Ram Charan too. Puri however says, “Chiranjeevi knows my abilities better than any one else. He even gave me the chance to introduce his son with Chirutha. I will make sure Auto Johnny is a blockbuster”.

The film will be launched on August 22nd, the Birthday of Chiranjeevi and the regular shooting will begin from September 2nd, the Birthday of Pawan Kalyan.The entire shooting will be completed by the first week of December. The makers are planning to release the film on January 14th as Sankranthi Special. Ram Charan himself will be turning producer with this film.

Modi Responds To Girl’s Letter, Saves Her Life

An eight-year-old girl from Agra named Tayyaba was diagnosed with a defective valve in her heart and she has been on a severe medication from many years. As their family belongs to the below poverty line and her father makes a living out of his daily work at a shoe factory, the chances of Tayyaba getting operated looked bleak until last week. The poor family has approached many NGOs and social organizations too. With the operation costing around 15 to 20 lakhs, none of them were ready to sponsor the treatment.

Not giving up the hope, the aggressive girl has written a letter about her problem to the Prime Minister of India describing her family situation and her father’s helplessness. Within no time, her family in Agra got a response from Narendra Modi’s Office asking for more details about the case. At the same time, the government of Delhi has also received orders to make arrangements for the treatment of Tayyaba irrespective of the cost.

Tayyaba has been advised by the government to come and join in Govind Ballabh Pant hospital for the heart operation and also assured that the cost will be borne by the central government. With this, Tayyaba and Modi have suddenly become the latest news piece for the media and appreciations are pouring in for the Prime Minister. President insults Rajiv Gandhi?

President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President Hamid Ansari were noticeable by their absence at the memorial to one time Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary on Thursday,seemingly against the backdrop of new government’s decision that such functions will be a non governmental affair.

Both the leaders had been to ‘Vir Bhumi’, the memorial to the late leader, in previous years to pay their homeage but did not do so today.Rajiv’s wife and Congress President Sonia Gandhi, joined by son and party Vice President Rahul Gandhi, daughter Priyanka Gandhi and son-in-law Robert Vadra offered flowers.

One time Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and a number of party leaders including Ghulam Nabi Azad, P C Chacko, Oscar Fernandes, Ajay Maken were among those who paid tributes to the leader.
