Twist: Radhika Apte Denies Reacting
The whole of India is busy publishing the news that heroine Radhika Apte stated that she don’t care about any nude MMS video leaks. With big news network agencies revealing the information about her reaction, anyone would believe. But here comes the twist.
‘I’ve not reacted to any media house over the issue or have given any statement’, said Radhika Apte, on the record. That sounds shocking. Without having her said anything, how come it is reported that ‘she laughed off’ the whole issue. Are some off the record comments publicised as an official reaction?
Irony is that Radhika Apte could have really reacted on the Video Leak issue, rather posting on the micro blogging site that she haven’t reacted on the issue. Earlier, a video clip featuring Radhika who tries lift her wardrobe and show her private part got leaked on internet, which happens to be a scene from Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming short film.
Ajay’s Surprise Role in Suriya-Sam’s Movie
Actor Ajay is surprise package in Superstar Suriya’s upcoming Tamil movie. Ajay will be seen alongside Suriya in this film being directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam fame. Titled 24, Samantha is romancing with Suriya again after Sikindar (Anjaan in Tamil).
Ajay carved a niche for himself for different roles. He recently received accolades for his performance as a modern dad falling in love with son’s girlfriend in Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya. Ajay has been on experiment mode off late and been avoiding stereotyped and run-of-the-mill roles.
Now that he bagged a significant character in Suriya-Samantha starrer, it’s a golden opportunity for Ajay to clock into the next level. Looks like, more offers in Tamil are awaiting for Ajay.

Rahul Gandhi to search for it in KCR’s land
In English, there is a maxim which says that one should search for something which they have lost at exactly the same place where thing shave gone a miss. This is true in many instances and for political parties in India, this adage holds good at all times and now it is Congress turn.
Inspite of granting Telangana state hood, Congress was unable to comeback to power for the simple reason that the timing of the announcement and passing of bill coincided with Congress fall else where. Had Congress given Telangana in 2010—11, then analysts say it wouldn’t have been wiped out in AP as well.
Now sources say that Congress scion and vice president Rahul Gandhi would be soon touring Telangana as part of his efforts to boost farmers’ morale and oppose the controversial land acquisition bill.Currently he is touring the arid region of Vidharbha in Maharashtra.
Congress has been on a downslide in TS with TDP more or less snatching away its main opposition status with its aggressive campaign against KCR even as Congress is back to infighting as usual. Rahul Gandhi maystart his yaathra in TS in Medak, which was his grand mother Indira’s constituency once or Karimnagar, which boosted Congress heavily from 2004-13.
Naidu’s Gentle Slap To BJP
Chandrababu Naidu has sent out a subtle message to the BJP through his selection of the TTD board.
The Board comprising 18 members will take oath on May 2 at Tirumala.
What is interesting is that none of BJP representatives from either Andhra Pradesh or Telangana found a place in the list of eighteen.
While Naidu did accommodate the recommendations of Central BJP Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP Chief, Amit Shah, Naidu did not extend the same courtesy to the BJP representatives of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana despite Venkayya Naidu’s lobbying for those from AP.
In recent times, the AP BJP has been quite critical of Naidu and his men for blaming the Center over the special status issue. This move by Naidu is seen as a gentle slap to the BJP asking them to stay in line.
But he has announced to the public that the Board will be increased from 18 to 20 to accommodate the BJP as well. But the message has not been lost on the BJP.
A Nuisance Called KCR!
Telangana has not been repaying its share of interest on the loans taken by United Andhra Pradesh.
In all, united Andhra Pradesh had raised loans to the tune of Rs 8,928 crore from different foreign financial institutions and Rs 8,737 crore from the Centre. However, the total Rs 17,665 crore loans have not been divided between the two states in the backdrop of serious objections by both the states.
Telangana’s argument in not repaying its share of the foreign and domestic loans is that the amounts raised were not utilized for the Telangana region.
Moreover, the Telangana government also objected to the distribution of some of the loans on the basis of place of utilization rather the population ratio.
On its part, Telangana has submitted to the accountant general that the loans should be divided on the basis of population by which AP would have to pay 52 per cent and Telangana 48 per cent. This, however, is not acceptable to AP as it is of the view that most of the foreign and domestic loans taken by united AP were for the development of the Hyderabad region.
After bifurcation, AP has paid around Rs 900 crore as interest including Telangana’s share. But numerous appeals to Telangana to repay its share have fallen on deaf years.
Why should AP have to pay Telangana’s share as well? 90% of the loans were used for the development of Hyderabad and KCR is enjoying the revenue of Hyderabad today. But he wants to pay only 48% of the loan’s share.
If he wants to claim ownership over Hyderabad, then he should also take proportionate responsibility for the liabilities incurred during the development of Hyderabad. When will this nuisance in the form of KCR end?
Shocking: Row over Andhra rice in Telangana
What! Even rice is a ‘bifurcated’ state problem now? The Telangana state has been given 1 lakh tonnes of rice that was imported from Andhra Pradesh by the Food Corporation of India (FCI).
This irked the Telangana Rice Miller association and said that the state has got required amount of rice and there is no need of importing it from any other state like Andhra Pradesh.
According to records, the Telangana state used to produce inadequate rice earlier while now it leads even in stocks and the production is so high that there are no godowns to even store them.
The Telangana Minister Etela Rajendra also admitted the fact that the state has sufficient rice production and the rice from other states is not entertained anymore.
Rajendra said that custom milling charges will be hiked by Rs 100 and ruling out the market cess. It seems the VAT has been reduced to 1% from the earlier 5%. So, do you think this affects other state producers?
