Actor Vishal panel wins in Nadigar Sangam Elections

Actor Manchu Vishnu, who is currently busy with his upcoming projects, has turned his attention to Telangana’s rich heritage instead of scouting international destinations for film shoots. During a recent visit to Medak district, the actor expressed his admiration for its historical monuments, spiritual landmarks, and scenic landscapes. He also revealed that he is considering filming portions of his next movie in the region.

Vishnu visited Medak at the invitation of District Collector Pratima Singh. He began his tour at the historic Medak Fort, where he explored the centuries-old architecture and learned about its fascinating history from local heritage experts. The actor reportedly spent considerable time understanding the fort’s strategic design and historical significance.

He later visited the iconic CSI Medak Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia and a globally recognized architectural landmark. Vishnu was impressed by the church’s stunning Gothic-style construction and the beautiful stained-glass panels depicting the life of Jesus Christ. He also offered special prayers at the cathedral and wrote an emotional message in the visitors’ book, describing his visit as a truly blessed experience.

The actor’s spiritual tour continued at the famous Edupayala Durga Bhavani Temple, where he experienced the peaceful atmosphere and admired the surrounding natural beauty.

Speaking to the media, Manchu Vishnu highlighted Medak’s immense potential as a film shooting destination. He said the district offers a perfect blend of palaces, forts, forests, lakes, temples, and picturesque landscapes that are ideal for cinema.

“Medak has everything filmmakers look for. The forts, forests, lakes, temples, and heritage structures provide spectacular backdrops for movies. I am planning to shoot portions of my future films here,” Vishnu said.

He specifically mentioned that he is exploring the possibility of filming a few key sequences of his next project at Medak Fort.

Vishnu’s remarks have quickly gained attention, especially at a time when filmmakers are actively searching for fresh and visually appealing shooting locations. Industry observers believe Medak could emerge as a preferred destination thanks to its rich historical legacy, natural beauty, and convenient proximity to Hyderabad.

The actor also assured his support in promoting and preserving Medak’s cultural and historical heritage while helping showcase it on a larger platform. Encouraging tourism, Vishnu urged people to visit Medak at least once in their lifetime to experience its history, spirituality, and breathtaking landscapes firsthand.
