A recent wedding reception in Hyderabad turned into a talking point in film circles as Samantha Ruth Prabhu and her former husband Naga Chaitanya were spotted at the same event.

The occasion was producer Sunil Narang’s daughter Simran Narang’s reception, where the former couple arrived separately with their respective partners — Samantha with Raj Nidimoru and Chaitanya with Sobhita Dhulipala.

This rare appearance comes years after their separation in 2021 and their subsequent marriages, making it a moment that quickly grabbed attention. Interestingly, despite being at the same venue, there was no visible interaction between the two.

Samantha made a striking appearance in a magenta saree, walking in alongside Raj Nidimoru, who kept it semi-formal in a dark blue blazer paired with jeans. Meanwhile, Chaitanya was seen leaving the venue with Sobhita Dhulipala, both opting for coordinated blue outfits — he in a blazer and she in an elegant saree.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya had tied the knot in 2017 in Goa before parting ways and officially finalising their divorce in 2021. Chaitanya later married Sobhita in 2024, while Samantha tied the knot with Raj Nidimoru in 2025.

On the professional front, Naga Chaitanya is currently gearing up for Vrushakarma, directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, where he is said to be playing a treasure hunter in an adventure thriller. The film also features Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sparsh Shrivastava in key roles.

Meanwhile, Samantha has Maa Inti Bangaram, directed by Nandini Reddy, slated for release on May 15, 2026.
