Former CM says he will not take Covid-19 vaccine as it is BJP’s vaccine!

The expected vaccine to cure the Covid-19 continues to gain political significance with the leaders making surprising yet shocking comments on the vaccine. Some parties even used it as an election manifesto.

When the country is getting close to the potential vaccine, Samajwadi Party President and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said, he will not get vaccinated with the virus.

The explanation, he gave for this took everyone by surprise. He called the vaccine, Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP)’s vaccine and he cannot trust the BJP government.

Adding further, he said, he will not take the vaccination dose for now and said, everyone, will get a free vaccine once his (Samajwadi Party) forms a government.

He also launched an attack on the Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Adityanath over the way it handled the pandemic.

Referring to the clanging plates claps idea given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he asked why the government new needs cold-chain and refrigerators to store the vaccine load.

Co-incidentally, the former Chief Minister’s sensational comments came when the States and Union Territories are conducting mock drill for the Coronavirus vaccine drive.
