Starring Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in lead roles, the project is said to be an extension of the 90’s web series and also features Vasuki and Sivaji in key roles.

While audiences initially expected another warm, family-oriented narrative with emotional depth, early indications suggest a clear shift in tone and treatment.

The film appears to lean more towards a Gen Z–driven love story, with a focus on intense romance, bold dialogues, and a contemporary portrayal of modern relationships. This transition marks a noticeable change in Aditya Haasan’s storytelling approach, moving away from his familiar nostalgic style into more experimental territory.

Although such a shift brings freshness, it also comes with creative risks. The key question now is whether the director can successfully balance his signature subtle storytelling with the raw, fast-paced dynamics of modern-day relationships. Coming to the lead pair, Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s chemistry in this film feels quite different from their earlier collaboration Baby, where they were seen in a school-time, early-love phase. Set against a UK backdrop with a more mature and intense Gen Z storyline, their pairing appears more layered and emotionally charged, as glimpsed in the teaser.
