Employees of technology giant Infosys received delight when they received iPhone 6 from their CEO. Vishal Sikka, CEO of Infosys surprised all by gifting Apple iPhone 6 to 3000 of its top performing employees on 9th Jan ,2015. Employees received an e-mail accompanied with the surprise gift. 

Attrition rate at Infosys stood at 20.1%, highest in India on Sep 2014. However ever since Vishal Sikka’s arrival, Infosys saw sea change in its fortunes. According to sources Sikka even reached out to those employees who have resigned and asked them to stay back talking to them personally. 

Management even took steps like quarterly promotions, conversion of variable pay to fixed pay, greater involvement of employees in decision making process to stem attrition. Earlier UB.Pravin Rao, Chief Operating Officer of Infosys, announced that the management made 100% variable payout for December quarter. 

He also announced there had been decrease in attrition with the multiple initiatives taken by the management in the last few quarters.

There has always been analysis regarding the TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu’s style of politics and how he managed everything right from the time he joined NTR’s TDP in 1983. Naidu is known for his nerves of steel and his extremely accurate strategies. 

Be it his way of dismantling NTR’s men and usurping power in 1995 and his way of using media for his publicity, Naidu has always proved himself to be a Chanakya. At a time when even Shiv Sena couldn’t handle Modi and Amit Shah and gave up, Naidu proved to be the opposite. 

Converting his party TDP into an opportunistic ally of BJP, Naidu has managed a coup by ensuring there is no hype for Amit Shah’s much touted visit to Andhra Pradesh. To his advantage, T-BJP’s lack of active political acumen has scuttled BJP’s chances in TS. 

At least for now Naidu has managed to make sure there is no huge upsurge for BJP in his bastion of AP. However, the political analysts say Naidu must not take it easy because BJP is going to give its push from all directions for some more time.

Going by reports that TRS is planning to grab GHMC elections this year by hook or crook, there seems to some shivers down the spines of Congress and TDP parties in Hyderabad city region. The strategies adopted by CM KCR seem to be on a high. 

There are reports that the TRS party is all set to ensure mass defection of literally all the counselors as well as former councilors from these both parties very soon. This strategy fits in tune with KCR’s plan of showing his power in Hyderabad. 

This is something he was never able to do in the party’s 13-year history. This was proudly confirmed by former TDP and current TRS leader Teegala Krishna Reddy who said being with ruling party is the best option for everyone who wants a good future politically in the newly formed state.

As strong as the planning and strategy may be, defeating parties like Congress and TDP is not that easy in Hyderabad. They are filled with strong cadre and even the people have a strong affinity towards both parties. Let us see what happens.

Here’s something interesting to the fans of TDP and Pawan Kalyan! It seems Chandrababu has replaced Venkatesh in Gopala Gopala. What!! Well, it in a poster of publicity in support of Gopala Gopala movie by the TDP fans.

In this poster, Chandrababu replaced Venkatesh character and this poster is going viral online. However, the TDP has shown to be in close relation with Pawan and is now in return supporting his movie. 

As we all know that Pawan played an important role during the general elections of Andhra Pradesh even though it did not work out in Telangana. However, this is sign of friendship that still exists between the parties.

The fiery pace at which BJP chief Amit Shah wanted to make some grand announcements in AP was reportedly curtailed by PM Modi that was scheduled in Vijayawada. Apart from pressure from the side of Venkaiah Naidu, there was something else also. Sources say that it was Modi who had personally intervened to prevent BJP chief from welcoming top leaders and also from trying to wean away some of the TDP cadre in AP. 

It has to be remembered that even in the beginning of 2013, when Modi was considered as a pariah by potential allies of NDA, an incident occurred. Call it compulsion or political opportunism, it was Chandrababu who first lent his hand of support as the first ally of BJP after Shiv Sena and Akali Dal. This pressure from Modi on Shah also resulted in a rather surprising statement that TDP is an ally and they will go together in the future too. 

Meanwhile, few days ago Ram Madhav and Muralidhar Rao of BJP said they prefer to go alone and they don’t see any future alliance with TDP. Also Modi is mindful of the fact that BJP earned two MP seats in AP only due to support from TDP cadre and has also been made part of AP state cabinet for the first time ever!

There is a political clarity among BJP leaders in Telangana but it lost in AP. BJP leaders lashed out against TRS party in Telangana. They fought against TRS on Telangana issues. Amith Shah too encouraged them and seeks to come in power in Telangana in 2019 general elections. 

But political situation is different in AP during the visit of Amith Shah yesterday. Amith Shah didn’t order the cadre to fight against TDP government in AP like what he said in Telangana. “Do you have any problems with TDP government in AP? Amith Shah asked the cadre. 

He also inquired “How the co-ordination between two parties after the elections?” There are two different opinions from the BJP leaders. Those who joined recently from Congress into BJP want to fight with TDP to gain political mileage in AP. People can’t believe the party if we co-operate with TDP. Other leaders in BJP said another version to Amith Shah. 

They suggested Amith Shah in continuing the friendship with TDP. They also raised the election promises to AP people. There was no meaning of political enmity with TDP without fulfilling election promises to AP. BJP leaders expressed their inability to reach target of 45 lacs of membership drive in AP.

Well, this is one crude example of YSRCP Chief, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is just willing to occupy the CM chair and not actually worried about the status of the development of the state instead. His desperation to become CM has been spotted. Addressing the press, Jagan said, “I don’t know why Chandrababu Naidu wants to rule the state. I don’t know what are his reasons. 

But as far as I’m concerned, I want to become CM only to rule for 30-long-years continuously.” What! Really! A person who has been in jail for being accused in making illegal money can rule the state? However, his statement not only made the political circles shocked but his own party men expressed their opinion of being shocked. 

Few political analysts say that jagan has made brainless comments and this make his greediness to come to power more exposed. A Political analyst asked Jagan “How could a man who can’t even run his own party and control his own party members can claim to rule the State? The leader of Opposition is a very respectable post and Jagan seems to be even unfit for this.” 

He also added “Opposition means not to oppose anything and everything by the government. It should take people’s side but not act for political gains. Moreover, elections are over seven months ago and 2019 is so far. It’s not time to talk about who will be CM or why does one wants to be CM. It’s time to talk about people’s woes.”

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of social networking giant Facebook in a startling revelation said a Pakistani terrorist tried to get him sentenced to death after he refused ban on anti Islam content on his site. 

In his Facebook page, Zuckerberg posted “A few years ago, an extremist in Pakistan fought to have me sentenced to death because Facebook refused to ban the content,” Zuckerberg shared his thoughts following terror attack on a French Satirical magazine for posting controversial cartoons. 

Terrorists shot down 12, including 8 journalists. Zuckerberg said despite the Pakistani extremist threat he stood by his decision as his company’s policy is for different voices even if they’re sometimes offensive.
