The actress, who is currently shooting for Tamil film “Maari”, also has Telugu film “Temper” and a yet-untitled Hindi film in her kitty. “I think the films I have in hand will keep me busy till October 2015. I may sign another Tamil film soon. Next year is going to be equally busy,” she said.

Caring Father Gauging Son’s Popularity

When star heirs enter the industry, there is loads of anticipation and lots of speculation. Sometimes, they meet the expectations, sometimes they vanish without a second chance.
The latest hero from the mega family to hit the screens is Varun Tej. His father actor Naga Babu is naturally worried for his son and wants to know how his son has done with his debut film.
Apparently, he has been collecting reports about his son from various areas. He is taking note of all the plus points and minus points about his son’s performance and looks, we are told. It is said that many felt that they liked Varun Tej’s style, though he is still raw.
Others liked his eyes and his expressions and some even said that he looked like a Hindi boy acting in Telugu films. With all the feedback, the mega family now intends to take extra care for his next film.
Since he belongs to the mega family, it would be rather embarrassing for the family if he does not do well at the box office. But to declare Varun Tej as a hit or flop, he will have to do more films.

Sukumar is Unafraid To Experiment And Fail

Share
Is box-office success everything for a filmmaker? For a producer, yes it is. 99 percent of the producers want to make profitable films. But what about the directors? Does every one of them want to come up with a commercially successful film? Filmmakers like Mani Ratnam and Gautam Menon have never thought about commercial success, yet they delivered many hit films and some of them failed at the box-office.
Speaking about this genre, Sukumar is one of those directors in Tollywood, who believes in his script more than anything. Sometimes, his creativity went beyond the lines and that didn’t go well with a section of the audience.
But the fact is, unlike other filmmakers, he isn’t repetitive. Good or bad, he has experimented in most of his films and is unafraid to fail. Technically, ‘Jagadam’ and ‘1-Nenokkadine’ are the flop films in Sukumar’s filmography and there are many people who loved those films as well.
Currently, Sukumar is getting ready to start his new film with Young Tiger NTR. BVSN Prasad will be producing this untitled film under SVCC banner and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.

TRS Minister’s Hopes on Kakinada and Machilipatnam!

Share
No doubt, the statehood has been achieved, but it is a fact that Telangana is a landlocked state without any ports, which is a major disadvantage. In India, with the exception of Punjab, most of the states have progressed only because of the coastline and while AP has nearly 1000 km of coast, Telangana has none.
However, at the same time Machilipatnam port is the most close to the state located less than 200 km from the border with Telangana. Earlier, when KCR met CBN at Raj Bhavan for a warm up meeting after much acrimony, the CM declared to media that he sought co-operation of AP to use the port also called famously as Bandar airport.
But opening his war of words again, KCR didn’t speak on this issue again and now TRS minister from Khammam, Tummala said that he would do his best to use Kakinada and Bandar seaports for development of Telangana. Well if AP and TS can co-operate on this, then even Telangana can reap the fruits of development!

This is surely a shocking news to the Andhra Pradesh political circles. The Andhra Pradesh Opposition leader, YSRCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy secretly called the Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao.
What!! Do you think Devineni is all set to shock Chandrababu by leaving the party? Well, there is nothing of that kind but Jagan requested the Irrigation Minister to complete the irrigation project between Pothireddipadu and Gandikota.
It seems that Jagan has also asked the Irrigation Minister, Devineni Uma to take up the problems of people living in the catchment area of the project seriously.
It seems Jaganmohan Reddy also asked to release the drinking water and also water for irrigation purposes from Pulivendula branch canal as soon as possible. As per sources, even the Minister responded positively. So, what do you think?

Romantic Director Loses His Magic Touch?

Share
Director Karunakaran is a name that rings a bell for romantic comedies and youthful entertainers. His movies strike a chord with youth at the same time has great affinity towards families. Be it Tholi Prema or Vasu or Darling or Yuvakudu, his movies are clean entertainers made with latest trends.
However, in his latest offing, Karunakaran deviated from his traditional path and tried to emulate director Puri Jagannadh as Nithiin’s characterization resemblances to Puri’s characterization of hero in the movie.
Unlike Puri, Karunakaran failed in execution leaving movie goers in disappointment. Karunakaran even got it wrong with his previous film Endukante Premanta, and with his just released Chinnadana Neekosam, the director yet again proved that he lost his Midas Touch.
His last hit was Darling in 2010, four years ago. It’s high-time Karunakaran should reconcile else he’d be in trouble.

Pawan Became ‘Rumour’ Of Guest-roles

Share
Using references of Pawan Kalyan is a ‘free job’ that could fetch publicity and many heroes are doing it now. Not stopping there, now rumours are being heard that Pawan himself is playing some guest roles in their movies. Earlier it was speculated that Pawan Kalyan is doing a guest role in Nitin’s Chinnadaana Nee Kosam.
Though director Karunakaran and hero Nitin have clarified that there is nothing such, rumour mills have started spreading that the unit members are maintaining secrecy to hold that suspense which could give them a bang of openings.
But all faces went pale after the movie released as there is nothing such. Similarly rumours are abundant that Pawan is playing a cameo in Akhil Akkineni’s debut flick too. This is purely unbelievable because a newcomer will not get enough into spot light if a star like Pawan does cameo and grabs all the attention.
Also, Pawan has no time for his own Gabbar Singh 2 and we wonder how he will sign these guest roles. If at all Pawan is playing any guest roles, then it is only in Gopala Gopala, which will be released on coming Pongal eve.

Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh starrer ‘Gopala Gopala’ is scheduled to release on January 14th as Sankranthi treat. Will the makers be able to keep their word or not is the most worrying aspect now. Insiders say, Makers haven’t locked the audio launch date though the release date is nearing. Shooting of ‘Gopala Gopala’ is currently progressing and would continue till January 4th.
It is learnt that Pawan Kalyan is yet to dub for his role and he will be lending his voice only from January 2nd. There is still some post-production work that need to be wrapped up before applying for Censor screening. If the sources are to be believed, There is no possibility of pre-poning the release of ‘Gopala Gopala’ to January 9th for avoiding clash with Shankar’s ‘I’.
The multi-starrer could even miss Sankranthi 2015 had if there are any last minute delays. In that case, Not just Mega Fans but the Telugu movie lovers across the World will be disappointed.

Mahesh’s ‘Aagadu’ Hits Century!!

Share
One of the most hyped and much talked about ventures of superstar Mahesh Babu was ‘Aagadu’ and it is a universal truth that the film became a colossal disaster at the box office. While that is a wakeup call to Mahesh himself, here is one interesting information which might cause you a bit of a shock. The film ended up completing 100 days of run at a theatre recently.
This is the Madhu Theatre in Rayadurgam and a poster was unveiled on this occasion. At a time when even the best of films don’t last for more than two weeks, how did a flop movie run for hundred days? This is a mystery which cannot be unlocked. For now, this news has led to many speculations and comments among the filmnagar circles.
They are trying to understand whether the people of Rayadurgam really liked the film so much or whether the management of Madhu theatre had no money left to buy another film. All in all, this is a consolation for Mahesh and his fans.
