Mega Prince Varun Tej has made a grave mistake in attempting a complex film devoid of commercial aspects for his debut movie. Mukundha is heading towards a loss venture. Varun’s Lanky figure will definitely suit to commercial film and he is going to offer the same with his second project. In all probability, Varun will be acting in his second directed by Puri Jagannadh. 

The actor is even working on a six pack body for the movie. Chiranjeevi is said to have instructed Puri Jagannadh to stuff full commercial aspects in to the film and make use of Varun fully. It is said that this project will be produced by Senior Producer C.Kalyan. This project will go on floors once Puri completes his commitments for NTR’s Temper. 

Varun Tej’s debut project, Mukundha has garnered so much of hype before its release and made a prerelease business close to 18 Crores and has to collect 20 Crore Share to call it a hit. The movie is expected to collect 10 Crore share in its full run now. So, Varun Tej had pinned lot of hopes on his second project to make a come back and bag the first break of his career.

The refreshing youthful entertainer ‘Mana Kurralle’ (The Latest Generation) is preparing to entertain the audience and it is releasing on 1st January, 2015. After making ‘Gudumba Shankar’, a film which was ahead of its time with Power Star Pawan Kalyan, director Veera Sanker is coming back to Tollywood with ‘Mana Kurralle’. Director S S Rajamouli has done an important cameo in the film. 

‘Mana Kurralle’ is also the first in creating history with seven music directors working for one film. The songs from the film have already created a buzz with the youth and masses. Slated to be a wholesome commercial entertainer, the film has the emerging star Arvind Krishna with Rachana Malhotra in the lead. Rao Ramesh did a key role along with Shruthi Raj, Raj Kalyan, Srinivas Reddy, MS Narayana and Krishnudu in ‘Mana Kurralle’.

The film is canned in the backdrop of 2007, marked by a period of real estate and software boom. The story depicts the lives of young men and women who come from their villages to Hyderabad and the society in the city influences their life. How they fight to preserve their roots forms the essence.

Mega hero Varun Tej is enjoying the outcome of his first flick ‘Mukunda’ despite a mixed response on first day. As the flick is amassing decent collections, even director Srikanth Addala felt that his message is reaching people. But definitely this is is a risky debut for a fresher, and Varun shared his thoughts about it. “Both Pedananna (Chiru) and Dad (Nagababu) liked the story narrated by Srikanth. 

So, we’ve decided to go with whatever he honestly wants me to do”, said Varun. However, dialogues are quite crispy and philosophical for Varun rather showing his comic timing or peppiness though he played a college going youth. “I asked Srikanth to induce some comic dialogues as my friends say that i’m very good at throwing satires and for my comedy timing. 

But he said no, adding that this character should utter only serious dialogues. So, we went with him”, the debutant says. Definitely, ‘Mukunda’ is a decent launch pad for Varun Tej as other directors have now started enquiring about this star-kid for his dates. Currently, this young mega hero is waiting to start both Puri Jagan and Krish’ movies.

Superstar Rajnikanth’s ‘Lingaa’ is declared flop on its arrival on day on itself. As the haphazard storyline and mediocre scenes fail to evince any interest for music lovers, the KS Ravi Kumar directorial is labelled dud. However, the December 12th release made most in its first weekend. 

Here comes the record the film is scoring in Bollywood. In fact, Hindi version of the film got released yesterday (Dec 26) and much to our surprise the film’s run time is just 2 hours 8 minutes. But the original Tamil and Telugu versions have 174 minutes running length which means that it is short of 6 minutes for 3 hours. 

Chopping down 50 minutes from the original movie is something a ‘record’ only Lingaa has achieved. As the lengthy narration of the movie made it sound slow, makers have decided to cut it, such that the experience for audiences will be crispy and intense.
