Gopala Gopala Advanced to Jan 9?

Share
According to latest reports, Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh starrer Gopal Gopala would be hitting the screens on January 9 contrary to previous release date of January 14. With the reports of Shankar’s I postponing the film to Jan 14, producers Suresh Babu and Sharath Marar are planning to advance the release of the film in order to avoid the clash with magnum opus I.
Considering that both are big-budget flicks with great expectations, producers don’t want to have any untoward competition between both the flicks. Although nothing has been confirmed so far, it’s reliably learnt that Suresh Babu wants to advance film’s release.
Meanwhile, a section of film industry feels that Jan 9 is highly difficult to make it as it’s very short time and makers are yet to release the film’s music and hardly promoted it so far. Since Pawan himself is a big buzz and no need to promote it aggressively, Suresh Babu is toying with the idea of advancing film’s release. Let’s wait and see.

‘No cameo of Pawan Kalyan in My Film’

Share
Buzz in film circles is that Pawan Kalyan has done a cameo in ‘Chinnadana Nee Kosam’ which is slated to hit the screens on Christmas Day. Nithin, however, denies it straightaway and also rules out any such possibility. Nithin plays his real-life character, a Pawan Kalyan Fan, in ‘Chinnadana Nee Kosam’ and few scenes are expected to be similar to the presentation of landmark flick ‘Tholi Prema’.
Especially, Climax is going to be the highlight. Nithin and Karunakaran have plans to meet Pawan Kalyan soon after the release of ‘Chinnadana Nee Kosam’. They wish to hold a special screening if the star is keen on watching this romantic entertainer.
The emotional speech of Nithin at ‘Chinnadana Nee Kosam’ audio launch hit the right chord with Pawan Fans. So, Fans of Powerstar will be extending their support to the Chocolate Boy despite the presence of Mega Hero Varun Tej with Mukunda.

Don’t have to be animal lover to support PETA: Kajal

Share
Southern actress Kajal Aggarwal, who is currently busy shooting for Tamil film “Maari”, believes that one need not be an “obsessive animal lover” to support People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Kajal has collaborated with the animal rights organisation in their latest ad campaign against cruelty against animals in circus events. “We’ve all grown up watching circus. I always used to wonder how these animals jump through rings of fire or do so many such unbelievable feats.
But since my association with PETA, I’ve understood the conditions in which these animals are trained and kept,” Kajal told IANS. “I’m happy to bring some awareness about this issue. I’m not doing this because I’m some obsessive animal lover. My association doesn’t stem from crazy love for animals but from a humanity point of view. As humans, I think all of us should be concerned about such issues,” she said.
Kajal added that she didn’t jump at the opportunity to extend her support for the campaign. She confirmed her participation after verifying facts herself. “They told me about the research they had conducted along with their sister-concern Animal Rahat. They also showed me pictures and videos of how animals are treated in the circuses. It was only after I was one hundred percent convinced did I confirm my association,” she said.

Mahesh Babu Won’t Attend ‘I’ Audio Launch

Telugu version audio launch of Shankar’s ‘I’ will be held in Hyderabad on December 30, 2014. Earlier, producer Aascar Ravichandran wanted to invite Jackie Chan as the chief guest for the audio launch. Since the event got delayed, he is not able to bring Jackie Chan to Hyderabad.
A leading Tamil daily has reported one week back that Superstar Mahesh Babu will be the chief guest for the audio launch of ‘I’ in Hyderabad. However, Superstar left to Dubai along with his family to spend New Year over there. So, the guest list for ‘I’ audio launch is yet to be announced.
On the other hand, our Tamil sources have hinted that the audio launch might not take place at all as Aascar Ravichandran is busy with other works at the moment. Vikram and Amy Jackson are the lead pair and AR Rahman has composed the music. ‘I’ will be releasing on January 14, 2014 in record number of theatres.

‘Irreplaceable’ Balachander, an instution: Film fraternity

There will never be a replacement for prolific Tamil filmmaker K. Balachander, said grief-stricken members of the Tamil film fraternity here, following the auteur’s death. He was 84. Balachander passed away due to prolonged illness at a private hospital here Tuesday, leaving scores of fans and fraternity members bereaved. Actress Jayaprada, who worked with him in five films, said he was an “institution”. “For actors who were launched by KB sir, he was our institution.
He taught us everything about acting. He’s given life to over 50 wonderful actors and I think all of us will always be indebted to him our entire lives,” Jayaprada told IANS. She further added that Balachander is “irreplaceable” and it’s “tragic” to have lost a visionary filmmaker. Jayaprada and Balachander worked in memorable films such as “47 Natkal”, “Anthuleni Katha”, and aceNinaithale Inikkum” Veteran filmmaker K. Vishwanath wished he’d assisted Balachander in direction. “I have immense respect for Balachander. He was a good friend and I always admired his work. There were only two people I really wished to assist in direction.
One was Telugu filmmaker Bapu and the other was Balachander,” Vishwanath told IANS. “It’s very unfortunate that both of them have passed away within a span of few months. There may be several filmmakers who can make films like Balachander, but nobody can replace him,” he said. Playback singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam said Balachander deserves to be celebrated worldwide. “I think he’s one of the best filmmakers in the world. I’ve had the privilege of singing most of the songs in his films,” Balasubrahmanyam said. “When I recently met him at his granddaughter’s wedding reception, he requested me to stay back and spend sometime with him.
Those few hours with him were priceless,” he added. From superstar Rajinikanth to DMK chief M. Karunanidhi, actor-turned-politician Vijayakanth to actors such as Vijay, Vikram, Arjun, Sathyaraj, Sarath Kumar, Khushbu, Prakash Raj, Sripriya, Manorama, Srikanth, Sivakumar, Dhanush, Visu, Mohan, T. Rajendar paid their tributes to the filmmaker. Thousands queued up at the residence of the filmmaker, where his body was kept for the people to pay their last respects. Balachander’s funeral procession, which began at around 2 p.m. in a flower-bedecked vehicle from his residence, ended at the Besant Nagar crematorium around 6 p.m.

Chandrababu lost his Mojo?

Share
No matter how much he thunders, AP CM Naidu seems to have fallen prey to the effects of old age and this is not the sole factor why his close aides say he is not the old Naidu. Sources say that although he is still active due to his yoga and other healthy practices, atleast politically he is unable to exercise control and keep administration running like how he used to do it before 2004.
Although he announced NTR Sujala Water Scheme and Anna canteens, no concrete plans have been conceived so far. At the same time, even his party men fear that it only takes one serious issue or event to blow the capital land polling out of gear which may damp the prospects of TDP very soon.
In a way, even hardcore supporters of Babu feel he is unable to maintain an iron grip like past nor he is able to make people work according to his vision like before.

KCR taking away KTR from Ministry?

Share
There seems to be no end to the rumors and speculations over why TRS scion and KCR’s son KT Rama Rao skipped all the recent cabinet meetings and the new ministers swearing in. Initially the news was that he was upset about immediate elevation for Talasani Yadav but now there is an interesting piece of news doing rounds.
The reports say that as KCR is unable to bear the pressure for including a woman or mala minister in cabinet, he has planned to axe one minister and it is likely his son KTR. With anyway Harish Rao serving well as deputy in KCR’s absence on few occasions, KCR is expecting KTR to take care of the party affairs as he is unable to bear the workload too and hence KTR is upset about leaving ministry post.

Prakash Raj Bursts Into Tears

Versatile actor Prakash Raj has broken down as soon as he saw the mortal body of legendary director K. Balachander. Prakash Raj on Wednesday visited the house of the late director to pay tributes and the actor was inconsolable after seeing his father-figure in a deep sleep. Since it was an irreparable and irreplaceable loss for him personally and to total movie industry, Prakash Raj burst into tears.
In fact, it was difficult for many over there to console Prakash. “Thank u kb sir for changing my life.. For the moments.. Learning n unlearning . I’m crying out loud in pain.. Will miss u my MAN.. Love uuuu,” wrote Prakash Raj on his micro-blogging page twitter on Tuesday after hearing the passing away of Guru Balachander.

Ready to Direct Pawan Kalyan Again

Share
Director Karunakaran and Pawan Kalyan share a great bond both professionally and personally. In fact, Karunakaran made his directorial debut Tholiprema in 1998 with Pawan in the lead. While the film turned out to be blockbuster and brought super stardom to Pawan, it cemented the position of director Karunakaran in the industry.
Since then, Karunakaran never looked back and made nine films in a career spanning over 15 years. Among his filmography what stands separate, admittedly, is the films he directed Pawan – Tholiprema and Balu. Naturally, the director is keen to teaming up with Pawan again if he gets the opportunity.
Be it Darling or Happy or Ullasamga Utsahamga, Karunakaran is a rare breed of directors who carved a niche for youthful romantic entertainers. Right from his debut he mastered the art of impressing youths and holding their pulses. If Karunakaran teams up with Pawan Kalyan again, definitely it will be a big feast for Power Star’s fans.

Nitin falls into huge advantage

Share
Young hero Nitin’s latest flick ‘Chinnadaan Nee Kosam’ is getting released across the globe on Thursday in almost 600 screens. Unexpectedly, he has has fallen into quite an advantageous situation to close the year with stunning numbers. As many theatre owners are now ready to screen the flick in more theatres, let’s talk about the advantage.
As said and done, Varun Tej’s debut flick ‘Mukunda’ hasn’t lived upto expectations as clustered scenes with no proper storyline hit it hard on the head. If Mukunda has done exceptionally well, then Nitin’s flick would have seen some opposition for sure. Now that the mega movie evoked mixed response, a slightest comedy and enjoyable 2 hours from Nitin will work big time.
As the trailers of Chinnadana Nee Kosam are promising Loukyam kind of entertainment, just positive mouth talk will help Nitin register the biggest figures of his career provided with the huge release planned by his sister, producer Nikitha Reddy.

Both Babu, KCR Failed in This

Share
The Chief Ministers of the new states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Chandrababu Naidu, KCR, have failed in one aspect- in convincing Centre over honouring their legends of their own states with Bharat Ratna. Although Chandrababu Naidu is part of NDA and playing vital role in it, he failed in getting Bharat Ratna for veteran actor-TDP founder NTR.
The case is no different for T-CM KCR as well as he couldn’t manage to convince PM Narendra Modi for conferring the India’s civilian award to former PM PV Narasimha Rao who hails from Telangana. With Centre announcing the prestigious award for AB Vajpayee and BHU founder Madan Mohan Malavya (posthumously), it has poured cold water on the hopes of TDP supremo Chandrababu who was confident of getting Bharat Ratna for NTR.
At the same time, it also disappointed KCR by evading PV’s name. It is reliably learnt that although Modi is in favour of conferring Bharat Ratna for NTR, he was apparently afraid that it’d caught him off guard if declares NTR name but not PV’s name as it’d get severe backlash from the Telangana state. With this Modi seems to have played it safe by avoiding both the names.
Even though PV was a congress man, his reforms have transformed India and one of the pioneers of modern India by liberalising the banks. All in all, both the CMs of AP and Telangana have failed in this one aspect inarguably.

Chinnadana Nee Kosam Inside Talk

Share
Sorry for our readers to be late. But here is the inside talk of Nithin’s Tomorrow Release, Chinnadana Nee Kosam. We have extracted this information from a person who watched the movie in the Censor Screening few days ago. Accordingly, the first half of the film is said to be okay but director Karunakaran has let down the actor in the second half which is poor.
It is said that Karunakaran has tried to stuff in comedy in to the film with Ali’s track but it did not work out as much as he would have liked. Finally they say the movie will end up as an ‘Average’ fare. The commercial value will depend on the Public reception in the dull December season. The movie is getting a very good release tomorrow.
With Mukundha not carrying good talk, if Chinnadana Nee Kosam manages better talk than Mukunda, the movie will do well especially the audience are film-starved for the last couple of months. There are rumours that Pawan Kalyan has made a cameo in the film, but they are not true. However there are many references to the Power Star in the film.
Bollywood beauty Mishti who recently made her debut with Kaanchi movie is pairing up with Nithin in this film. Nithin’s Sister Nikitha Reddy is producing the film under her Sresht Movies banner. She earlier produced Nithin’s successful films Ishq and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe and is gearing up for a hat-trick.
