Prakash Raj with Sensational Director

Sensational director Ram Gopal Varma, who is churning out low-budget flicks or no-budget flicks lately, seems to have a change of mind. RGV is all set for a big-budget film next in which Prakash Raj plays pivotal role. The combination of Prakash Raj and Ram Gopal Varma is considered as the deadly combo as both are strong minded with controversial personalities.
Already the news of this combo is raising so much curiosity on the project and shivers started in Film Nagar. The duo’s previous film Dongala Mutha tanked without a trace. Notwithstanding this, both are teaming up again. Reports have it that the film will also star Jagapathi Babu and Vishnu Manchu in significant roles. After Rowdy and Anukshanam, both Varma and Vishnu are teaming up for the third time.
RGV is presently busy with his film Spot, a faction story based on Obul Reddy’s murder ploy in Rakta Charitra. RGV is planning to release the film in Jan 2015 and soon after it, his next film with Vishnu will go onto floors. Meanwhile, Vishnu recently returned from Bangkok after trained in freestyle martial arts. This makeover is for his upcoming film, remake of Arima Nambi, directed by Deva Katta. Newcomer Tridha Choudary is seen pairing up with Dhee star.

Teenagers are leaving Facebook: Survey

Share
Facebook is less popular among teenagers than last year, says a survey, adding that 88 percent of teenagers now use the social network against 94 percent last year. The website is also losing popularity among all other age groups, CNET reported. The survey, conducted by market research firm Frank N. Magid Associates, revealed that the percentage of youth aged 13 to 17 who use Facebook in the US has fallen to 88 percent this year, from 94 percent in 2013 and 95 percent in 2012.
Among all the other age groups examined in the study, in total, 90 percent use Facebook, down from from 93 percent in the past two years. Other surveys have also found teens moving to other socially-networked sites, such as Instagram, now owned by Facebook. Of the people polled in the Frank N. Magid’s survey, 16 percent said Facebook was trendy, 18 percent found it fun and 16 percent said it was informative.
Only nine percent, however said, it was safe and another nine percent said it was trustworthy. The other networks people are using are Snapchat (18 percent), Apple’s iMessage (17 percent users) and WhatsApp and Google Hangouts which are used by nine percent of those surveyed. The survey reached 1,934 people and only smartphone users were polled.

India lost two Tests they should not have

Share
Another Test is behind India, leaving a lot of ifs and buts. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is right it doesn’t matter how close you were to winning – what matters is the end result. India were beaten by four wickets to go down 0-2 in the four-match series. Looking at the Australia’s scorecard in the second innings, losing six wickets to get to the target of 128 might make fans wonder what would have happened if India had scored another 50 or 100 runs.
Then the Australians would have found their tail wagging as it did in the first innings to take their side to cross the line. This business of the team being young and inexperienced or some players being at the end of their careers is unacceptable once they are selected to do a job. In 2011, it was said the seniors had little motivation as they were on their last tour Down Under. Now the side is raw, the average age being 26-27.
By the time they again go to Australia four years down the line, they will be into their 30s and by Indian standards will be too old unless one is a Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid or a V.V.S. Laxman with loads of talent. If anyone thought the series would be very close and even that even India can win, it is only because the Australians do not have a team that looks as good as any of their predecessors. In both the Tests, India appeared to have thrown it away from positions of strength. If it is any consolation, the Indians had more than their moments in both the Adelaide and Brisbane Tests.
But then, this is not the first time they looked good to win. It happened in South Africa and it also happened in New Zealand when Brendon McCullum was allowed to score double and triple centuries in the two Tests. That the triple century came when his team was 84 for five and went on to post 680 runs to deny India a massive victory. Similarly, in England, India began the series well, scoring 400 in the first innings at Nottingham and close to another 400 in the second in the drawn Test and then won the second Test at Lord’s.
After that the usual sob story. The team was unrecognisable. So, it is not that the Indians cannot bowl or bat on overseas pitches, it is just that they can’t sustain this for the entire series. It is understandable you can miss out in two-Test series as they did in South Africa and New Zealand, but not in a four or five-Test series after making decent starts and even looking like winning. Dhoni had answers for the “debacle” as he termed it on the penultimate day. He was open in saying that there was a communication problem when Shikhar Dhawan did not want to resume his innings on the fourth morning, having injured his wrist at he nets.
Virat Kohli was told about going out a few minutes before the start of play and that surely would upset any batsman. Worse, when Dhawan came out he batted fluently, raising doubts about his mental makeup. The Test was lost in the second session on the third day when Steven Smith and Mitchell Johnson pulled their side out of serious trouble. When both were dismissed the Indian team looked like gaining a handy lead but it allowed the tail to wag and lost the initiative. What they did is to get Johnson to get back his bowling rhythm and also his batting touch. Of course, some will complain about the umpiring and justifiably so as they were mostly at the receiving end.
Most cricketers worldwide must be having a chuckle in vicarious pleasure seeing the misery of the Indian batsmen as it was the Indian board that is opposed to the Decision Review System (DRS). Players have pulled their hair in frustration when they were at the rough end of the umpiring in international matches against India because they don’t have the benefit of DRS. Even the majority of the Indian players have been unhappy at times but they had to give in to the whims and fancies of some senior players.
The philosophy that everything evens out may be true when individuals count their good and bad umpiring decisions. But in the overall context of the match, these decisions surely have an impact. A legitimate question is why can’t the umpires check with the third umpire if they are in doubt just as they do in the case of low catches and the no-ball after a wicket falls?
The umpires must check the bat-pad-glove decisions with the third umpire just as they do with run-outs and stumpings even if they are sure the batsman is out by yards. India should set out to make amends for the two losses which they should not have with a little care and application. They should go to Melbourne with the knowledge that they can take on this team. And they should.

Revanth to be Arrested for KCR Comments?

The Banjara Hills police has reportedly filed a charge sheet in a case that was lodged against the TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy where a Telangana advocate had charged him with making defamatory statements against CM. This charge sheet which was reportedly filed a week ago, had came to light only this Friday at the Third Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally.
The Banjara Hills police reportedly said there was prima facie evidence against Revanth for making these remarks. Revanth Reddy reportedly alleged that one needs to have Rs 100 crore for meeting KCR and Rs 3 crore to secure an appointment his son K T Rama Rao. After the petition, the Nampally court had directed Banjara Hills police to investigate this matter and file a report.
Revanth Reddy has been charged under IPC sections 504 (Insult intended to provoke breach of peace) and 505 (False statement, rumour, etc circulated with the intent to cause mutiny or offence against the public peace) which would attract imprisonment for a period of three years or fine or both.

Amit Shah Rejects KCR’s friendship Message?

Well, nothing is impossible in politics and this has been proved once again with reports that the TRS leadership has extended an olive branch to the NDA’s Narendra Modi government, and even offered to join the Union Cabinet. Sources say that some of the well wishers of CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao in the BJP have reportedly moved this proposal with both PM Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah recently.
However, sources say that the BJP’s national leaders especially Amit Shah wasn’t interested in the TRS proposal and made it clear that they have decided to grow independently in states of South India. Now sources say that the TRS move to check Congress, TDP and even state BJP may have been fizzed away and TRS is unable to decide between MIM and BJP! But if BJP is determined to make inroads into south, it has to do a lot of groundwork for that.

Chakri’s Wife Reveals all Truths!

Share
Well, the sudden demise of the Music Director Chakri has left the whole industry in grief. After his death many truths came into limelight and his wife seemed to have a tough time handling issues with her in-laws who blamed that she murdered him. Chakri’s wife, Sravani in her interview revealed the actual truth and spoke about the family problems.
She said ” Still, I can’t believe that he is no more. Sometimes, I think he gone outside on some work and will return home anytime, but telling myself that he will never return again. He spoke to my father and brother on the previous day. Later, he went out and returned home late in the evening. Then watched TV for few hours and came to bed around 2 or 3 am.” She added “When I woke-up in the early morning to take my tablet. Then, I noticed that he is not snoring as usually. I tried to wake him up, but by the time his body turns into blue.
Immediately, I rushed him to nearby hospital, but the doctors told me he is no more. He is suffering with obesity. He even prepared to undergo surgery to cut down his weight. But, we dropped that idea after doctors advised it is very risky with his health condition.” Speaking about family affairs Sravani said “In fact, we don’t have any huge properties as people are used to believe. You are aware that he is used to donate huge amounts to the needy people in our village, relatives and friends.
So, hardly there is any savings. So, it is absurd that we family members are in fight for his properties. I treat my mother-in-law and Chakri’s younger brother Mahith as my own mother and brother. So, there is no question of arising disputes with them over sharing of properties. How anyone can expect that we quarrel with each other for sharing properties, when hardly there is any savings in our bank account?” Sravani said “We have no children.
Now, also lost my darling husband Chakri, who is used to be around me all the time when at house. So, I lost interest in life. I have no big plans for my life. But, I will live to fulfill my husband’s dream of launching a recording studio. His ambition is to launch a Sea Studios. Don’t know, whether I can fulfill his ambition in my life time or not, it is the only goal left for me now in my life.”

Since Balakrishna belongs to Andhra Pradesh and is also an MLA of Telugu Desam Party which is considered as arch-rival to the Telangana’s ruling TRS party. Telangana Chamber heads are very stern about releasing the title even though the producer who blocked it has not used it for several months and is also not going to use it in near future.

Rudrapati Ramana Rao will be producing the film under his SLV Cinema banner. Mani Sharma who gave several chart buster audios to Balayya in the past will be composing the music for this film.

In response to court summons, Ongole MP YV Subba Reddy, IAS officer SN Mohanty and other accused appeared before the special CBI court.
