Anjali and Srinivas Reddy starrer Geethanjali is one of the biggest hits this year in terms of Return on investment. After the success of the film, director Raaj Kiran is currently working on the sequel for the film. Earlier Kona Venkat penned the dialogues for the original but Damarukham fame Veligonda Srinivas will be working for this sequel. The Producers of the original have not evinced their interest in producing the film.

So the director roped in China Babu on Crazy Media Productions banner to fund this film. It is not yet clear if Anjali is going to star in this sequel. The makers just say a Top hero and Top heroine will be roped in for the film. The preproduction works of the film are progressing at brisk pace. Geethanjali is the story of an aspiring director who helps a ghost to take revenge on her death. 

He approaches the murderer to produce the film and brings him to the spot where she is murdered. The horror comedy film worked to a great extent with the audience and it became a huge hit and brought double profits to the producers and every one involved in the trade.

Allu Arjun who is in full force after the Bumper hit of Race Gurram may get an ultimate shock from one of his endorsements very soon. In the present situation, the heroines have an upper hand in the industry of commercials, especially in Jewellery and Clothing areas. But, one such brand called Joy Allukas have been making use of all the heroes nation wide to make its sales run. 

Hrithik Roshan is the face of Joy Allukas whereas, Allu Arjun, Madhavan, Suresh Gopi and Sudeep are the regional faces. Today is the Pedda Karma of his brother, Janaki Ram and NTR attended it giving a miss to his new film opening (Sukumar’s film). It was a quiet event with close friends and family. When every one were sharing their memories of Janakiram, NTR was reduced to tears heating up the entire scene. 

People attended the event were also moved with NTR’s emotion even as both NTR and Janakiram are sons of same father but different mothers. The muhurtham of NTR-Sukumar film took place at 11.39 AM at the Producer’s office. The makers did not even let out the photographs of the event since NTR is absent. The regular shooting of the movie will begin from January 7th. The actor is expected to finish the left over shooting of Temper by then. 

Sukumar is licking his wounds after the failure of Mahesh Babu’s 1-Nenokkadine. He is keen on making a comeback to success track with ‘Youngster’. The makers will target Dussehra release for the film to cash the holiday season for students. The makers say the movie will be a Stylish Revenge drama. Currently the casting work is going on.

Attarintiki Daredi producer BVSN Prasad will be producing the film under his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner in association with Reliance Entertainments. BVSN Prasad earlier produced Oosaravelli with NTR and incurred some loss. NTR then promised to do one more film to cover up the loss. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music for this project.

Hansika Motwani’s mother Mona Motwani has been in news for reportedly wrong reasons. Mona, who looks after Hansika’s dates, apparently demanding whopping Rs 2 Crore as part of her remuneration for her next Tamil film. Presently, Hansika is reportedly charging Rs 1.5 Crore for films Ambala (opposite Vishal) and Garuda (opposite Vijay). Even before release of the films, Hansika’s mother is allegedly hiked her daughter’s price tag claiming the confidence on movie success. 

Not long ago, Hansika has hiked her fee from Rs 1 Crore to Rs 1.5 Crore after the success of Aranmanai. Now she is demanding whopping Rs 2 Crore for new films. Besides the remuneration, Hansika’s mother Mona is apparently putting several conditions. In her recent film, the makers have shot an advertisement within the film and for this, the producer said to have received Rs 25 Lakh from that company. 

Knowing this, Hansika’s mother reportedly asked for half of the payment for Hansika. With no other option, producer said to have agreed for this demand as well besides paying a huge pay cheque for the actress for acting in the film. With the manner in which Hansika’s mother allegedly squeezing producers, producers are grumbling over it. Definitely, not expected from a professional and talented actress like Hansika.

Feauturing director Puri Jagan’s son Aakash as a hero, director Raj Madhiraj of ‘Rishi’ fame is now carving a movie titled ‘Andhra Pori’. 

The name itself indicates that the story revolves around a girl who came from Andhra region and settled down in Hyderabad. As this director happens to be a Hyderabadi from a long time, we have to see what will he offer with Andhra Pori. 

And that touted Andhra girl role is being played by famous TV serial girl Ulka Gupta. None other than the iconic Prasad Production is making this film. Titled ‘Andhra Pori’, the film got launched today in Telangana’s Hyderabad.

Get ready to use WhatsApp from your desktop as reports are rife that the messaging app is contemplating to launch its desktop version soon. Although WhatsApp is yet to make an official statement, a recent study by the team at AndroidWorld.nl gives an insight that the message app is exploring its options of web functionality. 

Adding to these speculations, the recent study indicates that mention of “WhatsApp Web” in the code, about logging into web and tracking online statuses hint that WhatsApp is on its way to web. 

Already its peers like Line, Viber, Telegram and WeChat all allow its users to message either on your phone or the via the web. With over 600 million users, WhatsApp is the largest messaging service and it is still on its way to launch its desktop version. It’s better late than never.
