Birds as Suicide Bombers

Share
Move over human bombs, the latest is that birds are now turning into ‘suicide’ bombers. Confused? Well, birds are reportedly being used as a suicide bomber by terrorists. In an attempt to fight and bring down the well-armed military, relatively less-equipped insurgents in Afghanistan seem to have found this “novel” technique.
The Taliban seem to be using such a strategy and the Afghan police reportedly shot a bird which had been equipped by the terrorists with an explosive pouch, a GPS tracker and a detonator. The bird had several wires protruding from its feathers, a mobile phone detonator and a specially designed ‘suicide vest’.
Police spotted the suspicious-looking bird and their suspicions increased as the large bird is not known to be native to the area. An investigation is going on.

Big Joke: 24 Hours Power In Telangana Soon

Share
Andhra Pradesh people have been subjected to severe power problem for quite sometime. Right after the bifurcation of state power woes increased in the state of Telangana. TRS government and CM KCR is at its wits end to solve the problem. In the process they started blaming Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu.
Even KCR seemed resigned to the power crisis and asked people to be patient for two years. Now Minister Harish Rao, cracked the biggest joke. After participating in various developmental activities in Siddipet, Medak district he said with in 2 years, Telangana will have 24 hours power supply without any break.
He also added that there won’t be even water problem. He then said the current power problem arose as AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu broke all AP State reorganisation agreements formulated for ten years.

YSRCP leader Dharmana Prasada Rao speaking to media sought to expose the magic of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu on Rice and Sand. Criticizing Chandra Babu Naidu, he said people are confused at his inexperienced rule after his policies regarding employee transfers and selling sand.
Continuing further he added while AP government is providing Kilo rice at Rs 1, it increased sand per tonne by Rs 2000, equating that it comes to Rs 2/ kilo. Dharmana Prasada Rao, former Minister in undivided Andhra Pradesh in Congress rule mocked Chandra Babu Naidu saying he is trying to divert the attention of people by promising heaven to cover up for the lapses of his Government.

Botsa’s Phone Unavailable?

Share
Former PCC chief and state minister Botsa Satyanarayana is reportedly “unavailable” for his fellow congress leaders of Andhra Pradesh. After Congress tasted severe drubbing in polls and totally washed out in AP, Botsa has been replaced with Raghuveera Reddy. With Botsa lost Assembly polls as well, he has been staying away from party activities.
Although several Congress leaders have been trying to reach out him, he initially showed little interest or no interest in the party activities. Now, his phone is said to be totally “unavailable”. Congress leaders have also come to terms with the media reports that Botsa is going to join BJP very soon in the presence of its chief Amit Shah.
As we dig deep, it is learnt that Botsa has been staying in Goa away from Vizianagaram and only available to his family members. Botsa is said to be relaxing in Goa and spending time for himself. After being a Congress leader for several years and closely worked with chief ministers like YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Rosaiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy, ditching Congress in tough times is certainly non-digestible for Congress top brass.

KCR wouldn’t have Opposed NTR!

Naming of Shamshabad airport domestic terminal after NTR triggered immense controversy. Telangana CM, TRS chief KCR protested vehemently and even passed resolution in the assembly opposing name change. He and TRS party leaders said they are against naming Shamshabad airport after Andhra leader’s name. This led to war of words between TDP party which said its founder NTR enjoys national stature and one shouldn’t belittle by confining him to one region.
In the mele Congress party joined the protests opposing name change by removing Rajiv Gandhi’s name. In the midst of all this YSRCP leader Lakshmi Parvathy made a shocking statement that Telangana CM KCR wouldn’t have opposed to NTR’s name. She added that had Union Government informed KCR prior to name change, even he would have happily agreed.
She then lashed out at Chandra Babu asking him why did he not try for Bharat Ratna for NTR when he used to be king maker at the centre. She questioned what was the need for thousands of acres of land for capital construction. She said Chandra Babu is doing land pooling only to help his coterie. She asked Union Government to respond immediately on these issues.

Chandrababu playing it Safe?

After the Hero instance, Naidu-led AP government is more conscious and cautious over the investments queued up to the truncated state. Chandrababu Naidu and the government of Andhra Pradesh is playing it very safe when it comes to investments and the companies interested in it. It’s not just hiding the names of probable investors, it’s keeping it under wraps in order to avoid any untoward incidents that would dent the prospects of AP.
Especially soon after Babu’s Japan trip, although there are several Japanese companies interested in setting up their units or coming forward to provide high-end technology in building the new capital of AP, not even a single name of firm has been revealed so far. It is reliably learnt that AP government don’t want to take any chances as competitive states like Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are keenly and closely watching the moves of AP in order to woo its investors to their states.
“Hero Motorcorp had first shown interest in AP and later they had change of mind and wanted to shift to Hyderabad. But Naidu stepped in and finally managed to bring it back with the help of Kambhampati Ram Mohan Rao. With this, Naidu has learnt a lesson and directed officials to hide information even from media,” said a source in the know. While the competition between AP and its neighbouring states is running high, it’s natural for Naidu to play it safe.
At the same time, Naidu is said to be in no mood to break rules and regulations despite competition from other states is high. He asked all the interested companies to participate in the bidding and he stated that the company which quotes the highest price will be given the opportunity. “Just because competition is high, we can’t flout rules. Mr Naidu has given strict instructions to officials on the procedure to be followed,” added the source.
