It is known that Tollywood managed to collected 11,51,56,116/ towards the welfare of Hudhud Victims through this program.

“Earlier we have a charity program by SP Balasubrahmanyam in Chittoor. We managed to collect 1 Crore for that program. Now we just managed to collect 8 Crores with all the industry being present. (Remaining 3 Crores from various donations) This meager donation represents the lack of interest from our star heroes. We have to go around then and keep on requesting to come to the event” said an angry Tammareddy to a TV channel. 

He did not stop there and further lashed out at our stars, “They do not have any respect to elders. They are run and go to the Filmfare Ceremonies but do not have time to come to Nandi Film Festivals”. It is said that the distributors of Rajinikanth’s earlier disaster movie, Vikrama Simha are still hounding the makers to compensate their losses or give Linga at less than half the rates. With the release date approaching fast, the makers are in a very tensed mood. In worst case they may even defer the release of the Telugu version.

Trishna has done something new as she choose an animal home for cleaning. 

Along with the volunteers of Environmentalist Foundation of India, Trisha cleaned an animal home in Mudichur, Tambaram of South Chennai. Sharing the pics on her Twitter page, she wrote, “A productive mornin indeed #CleanIndia #swachhbharat” Interestingly, Trisha’s alleged boyfriend-businessman also took to twitter to praise her girlfriend.

After his experimental directorial One-Nenokkadine with Mahesh Babu failed to mint money at the Box Office, director Sukumar has set his focus on film production. He forayed into film business and producing Sumanth Ashwin-starrer Chakkiligintha. Sukumar is launching his protege Vema Reddy. Sukumar is definitely playing a big gamble by turning into producer. 

In fact, even director Rajamouli who turned into film producer with Andala Rakshasi has confined with an average. Although the film received critical acclaim, it didn’t do well at ticket windows. Film production is not so easy job. Since monetary issues are related and managing distributors, exhibitors and publicity is a Herculean task. If at all the film bombs by chance, distributors would be after him. It needs to be seen how Sukumar’s first production venture turns out to be.

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma never minces his words. This time he has made much more bold statement by openly stating on TV show that he would “take away” his life. “If i’m bedridden and should survive on other’s support, I’ll commit suicide without much thought. I hate being sick. I hate being taken care by others,” RGV said about his death in a candid TV talk show.

RGV added, “If I know my death in advance, or If I know that I’m going to die in few months or days, I’d go absconding and would prefer to die alone. I don’t want anyone to see my dead body. I don’t give anyone that chance.” Expounding on it, RGV said, “Because my dead body would show me as powerless. I’d never ever give such chance to anyone which shows me so.” 

The director of classic films like Siva, Rangeela, Sarkar, Satya and Company said, “Death should be celebrated if we truly believe that he/she is going to be with God afterwards. Why should we cry for one’s death? When we’re celebrating one’s birth, we should also equally celebrate one’s death in the same manner.”
