Director Maruthi tried his best to impress the in-form heroes, but they all are too busy for him now. Maruthi is not used to taking big break between his films. But the young director was forced to take a break after Kotha Janta as his attempts to get the dates of heroes like Nitin, Sunil etc. failed. 

So Maruthi decided not to run after successful heroes and settled with Nani, who is running through rough patch. Nani’s last two films Paisa and Aha Kalyanam were big duds that his Jenda Pai Kapiraju is finding no takers. He is currently doing a film called Evade Subramanyam. It is not going to be easy for Maruthi to pull off a hit with Nani at this point.

The promising young hero has lost his market and is repeatedly failing to get decent openings for his films. Maruthi says he is attempting an entirely different film this time. Maruthi doesn’t want to stick with time tested formulas. He is on a mission to explore new genres.

Now that she is venturing into Telugu cinemas to with upcoming Malini & co, the dare-bare hottie made some attention grabbing claims yet again. Recently Hollywood siren Kim Kardashina has shocked one and all with her nude photo shoot for “Paper” magazine where she flaunted her ‘enhanced’ butt without any qualms. 

Accusing that Kim has copied her poses from “Nasha” movie, Poonam now wants to file a law suit on the Hollywood beauty. This sounds as mindless as it could be, because posing nude will have no copyrights, so is the pose. If any such action would be taken, then all those adult-movie stars in Hollywood might revolt against Poonam Pandey as she constantly copies them, says a mocking bird.

Early this year, actress Samantha has indirectly taken a dig at Mahesh Babu’s film poster. As heroine Kriti Sanon was seen crawling on her knees to touch Mahesh’s feet in a beach, on poster of ‘1 Nenokkadine’, our hottie termed it as ‘regressive’. Though Mahesh hasn’t reacted about this anytime, director Sukumar stated that Samantha should have made her comments personally to them rather shooting arrows in public. Cine folks however say now that Mahesh had his piece of revenge taken on Samantha. 

On the other day’s Memu Saitham event, those who have watched the interview of Samantha, Mahesh and Trivikram can clearly observe Superstar taking potshots at our star beauty. When Samantha stated about her recent flops and Trivikram expressed his surprise, then Mahesh quipped, “Recently she has taken two beatings” (Ee Madhya rendu kajaalu tinesindi… baaga gattiga tagilesai), in a satirical tone. 

And then when Sam openly asked if she is going to be the heroine in upcoming Mahesh-Trivikram movie, then our hero openly ridiculed her. “We both will work for a film, but can’t say if you will be heroine or not. Script has to suit you know?” Mahesh splashed a pun. Also in the end, our Superstar spoke about Shruti Haasan and her talents, making Samantha frown. This looked fun for the onlookers, but on a serious note, it is as if Mahesh is extracting his revenge on the actress for her sarcastic talk earlier.

With new releases failing to catch the attention of filmgoers it is going to be another rough week for film trade. None of the Friday releases made an impact at the Box Office. Thanks to Rakul Preeth Singh’s growing stardom, only Rough managed to get decent footfalls over the weekend. However Rough lost the steam quick enough due to bad word of mouth and reviews. 

Yamaleela 2 didn’t even get average collections at least in the B and C centers despite huge publicity campaign. Yamaleela brand and Mohanbabu’s presence didn’t work in the favor of this film. Ala Ela is the only film that is receiving positive feedback from the critics, but the film is unable to pull audience to theaters because of the little known lead actors. 

Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam also failed to get decent numbers in its third weekend and Rowdy Fellow’s dreams of picking up at the box office were shattered. There are two notable small films lined up for release on this Friday. Chakkiligintha and Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki should do well compared to recent releases. If they fail to live up to the expectations, it is up to Rajinikanth to set box office on fire with Lingaa that is slated for Dec 12th.

Nandamuri Bala Krishna is one of the biggest mass heroes in Tollywood, who enjoys a huge fan base among masses. Balayya has timely responded to help Hudhud victims along with his colleagues. He did his part at the ‘Memu Saitam’ event and entertained the audience.

If you are among the loved heroines in Bollywood, insecurity does not figure in your list. But is it really so? Even the top league actresses die of insecurity when a newcomer enters the industry, more so when they are part of their films. But buxom actress Sonakshi Sinha says she never felt insecure when she was acting in Prabhu Deva’s Action Jackson. 

Though Sonakshi is all over the promos, not many are aware that the film also stars Yami Gautam and newcomer Manasvi Mamgai. Well, Manasvi is not just another newcomer, she happens to be Miss India 2010. Tall and svelte, she has already got many people looking forward to her debut. So Sonakshi says she has no qualms with other actresses being part of the film. 

Well, we would surely like to take her word, but then why didn’t she make any promotional appearances with them? And in the one she did, she was seen standing as far away from Manasvi as possible. Gotcha Sinha girl!

Actor Nandoo, who was last seen in Ram Gopal Varma-directed Telugu thriller “Ice Cream 2”, says working with the filmmaker gives him a high as he’s like a “drug”. “Ram Gopal Varma is like a drug. You get easily addicted to him. Most of us fear taking drugs, but we know it gives us a high. You may fear working with him, but once you start, he’s like the alcohol you can’t refuse at night,” Nandoo told IANS. Nandoo says he’s looking forward to collaborate with the auteur once again. “I’ve signed another film with RGV. 

This time I play the solo lead, and the film is not going to be in his usual genres such as thriller and horror. It’s going to be something very different,” he said. It was Nandoo’s deceiving face and eyes that caught RGV’s attention. “It’s funny when he told me what he really liked in me. He said I have good eyes and added that I have a face wherein the devil can be easily hidden. He liked that contrast in my face,” he added. 

Nandoo, who has starred in films such as “100% Love” and “Autonagar Surya”, says his role in recent Telugu independent film “Paathshala” helped him win hearts of audiences and critics alike. “I think ‘Paathshala’ won critical acclaim from all quarters. Every critic and college-goer who watched the film had something nice to say about my role. I wouldn’t say it gave me fan base, but I definitely feel it helped me grow as an actor,” he said. 

He says he would love to work in romantic-comedy. ” After ‘Paathshala’, I feel I’m really good with comedy. I want to do more films in that genre. I would love to do a rom-com a la ‘Hum Tum’,” he added. Nandoo currently has Telugu films “Close Friends” and “Superstar Kidnap” ready for release, while he’s busy shooting for another yet-untitled film in the language.

Ala Ela which released recently seems to be generating good word-of-mouth. It was a crucial film for the hero, Rahul Ravindran. Crucial because, Rahul although from Chennai has decided to focus on a career in Tollywood and has even shifted base to Hyderabad. It all started with the movie, Andala Rakshasi. Though the movie was a commercial failure, it received critical acclaim. 

The movie was shown to the Tamil audiences as well. Ironically, after Andala Rakshasi, Rahul Ravindran started getting offers in Telugu whereas the other hero of the film, Naveen Chandra became busy in Tamil. To date, Naveen has done some good films in Tamil like Sivappu and Sarabham. 

Naveen has some projects in Telugu but his star is shining brighter in the Tamil arena and it is vice-versa for Rahul Ravindran. Rahul has another movie, Hyderabad Love story in the pipeline in Telugu and if the good talk of Ala Ela converts to theatrical revenues, it will improve his market in Tollywood.

Ileana who was mostly silent when she was reigning the Telugu Industry seem to have grown bolder in Bollywood. Time and Time she is indulging in some controversies and most of the times, it is about Sex and such stuff. Couple of months ago, She said to a Bollywood Tabloid “Sex is a major relaxation to my body. It keeps me young and I don’t mind to talk about that in public”. 

This statement of Ileana has created a sensation in the media. However the Slender beauty does not stop there. She posted an Instagram Photo on her Twitter Account about men and Bra. “Men will never understand how joyful it makes us feel to unsnap that bra, whip it through our shirt sleeve and fling it across the room”, the photo said. 

Needless to say, Ileana fans will have sleepless nights over this particular tweet. Ileana has left Telugu film industry after Ravi Teja’s Devudu Chesina Manushulu. She has got decent reputation in Bollywood with films like Barfi. she has acted in four Hindi films till date after Julayi – Barfi, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Main Tera Hero and Happy Ending. Looks like she is enjoying life to the fullest there.

After the debacle of Aagadu, it took a long time for Mahesh Babu to come out of it and begin the shooting of his next film directed by Koratala Siva. After a very brief schedule, there were news that Shruti Hassan walked out of the sets and the makers are trying for a replacement. While the walking out is not true, there is certainly dates problem with Shruti which is slowing down the movie shoot. Now there is a problem with Jagapathi Babu. 

It is said that the actor is suffering from a Back Problem which is troubling him from shooting continuously. The actor is taking too many breaks between the shots to recover. This Problem of Jagapathi Babu will further delay Mahesh Babu’s film. The actor is playing Mahesh Babu’s father in the movie and it is a crucial role. It is said that the actor faced similar problem in the shooting of Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham and so the makers have some how finished the shooting staggering. 

Touted to be commercial action entertainer, Mahesh Babu has pinned many hopes on the film especially after the failures of 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu. Popular Overseas distributors Mytri Film Makers are turning producers for this film. Yerineni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar (Thammudu) and CVM (Mohan) are the producers.
