Allu Sirish has performed Rahu-Ketu pooja at famous Kalahastiswara temple in Sri Kalahasti. Sirish personally paid a visit alone and took part of the rituals. However, when the word of Sirish doing Rahu-Ketu pooja spread like wild fire, media entered the scene and Sirish was said to be upset. In fact, miffed with media persons, Sirish reportedly shouted at media persons alleging that they are “crossing their limits”. 

However, Sirish later apologised them for his “rude” behaviour. Of late, Sirish is going through difficult phase of his career. Although his previous film Kotha Janta had moderate success, Sirish hasn’t announced his next venture. At the moment, the Gouravam star is looking for a much-needed break. And hence pooja it seems. Let’s wait and see.

Recently music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has converted to Islam and now it’s the turn of ‘Tuneega Tuneega’ fame Rhea Chakraborty to declare about her practicing of a new religion. Former MTV Video Jockey and model, Rhea appeared as lead girl in Bollywood in the recent release ‘Sonali Cable’, which hasn’t done well at box office. 

Sharing about Buddhism thing, Rhea said, “I have been chanting Nam Myoho Rengey Kyo for the past eight months and practicing Buddhism. It’s my path to peace and happiness and compassion”. She asserted that the new religion has changed her life on every level. “I’m a better human being now. I wish for the whole world to experience this faith”, she adds. Stressing more about the chant she mentioned, Rhea concluded, “It’s a chant that makes you fight your inner darkness and emerge victorious”.

The car of the hero met with the an accident of with a cab at Madhapur. However, Allari Naresh is out of danger and seems to be perfectly alright. 

He escaped from the accident unhurt and also shared his fitness of health. He expresses his fans about the incident and tells that he is perfectly fine. However, he had to cancel the function he had to attend at any cost after the incident. “I’m perfectly fine and no one suffered any injuries. It’s just that it took some time to settle things down which is why I couldn’t attend the event,” Allari Naresh said. 

Allari Naresh who has entertained his fans recently with Brother of Bommali which took a positive talk all over and he proved himself once again as a minimum guarantee hero. So, fans don’t worry Naresh is perfectly fit now! Good to hear so!

King Nagarjuna who had taken a long gap after the release and success of Manam is all set to don the greasepaint once again. He completed a very successful season of his TV debut, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu and also shot for the second season of the TV show. And now he is all set to begin the shooting of his next, Soggade Chinnu Nayana directed by a newcomer Kalyan Krishna. The regular shooting of the movie will begin from 19th of this month in the house set used for Manam movie in Annapurna Studios. 

We have already said that the movie will run in the backdrop of a village and Nagarjuna will be seen in two different roles. Nagarjuna in an interview revealed that the film will be a shocking subject just like Manam. We have managed to get a sniff about the movie subject. Nagarjuna will be seen as Grand father and Grand son in the film. One of them is a womanizer and the other is a big hater of women. Ramya Krishna and Lavanya will be romancing Nagarjuna in the movie. 

Ram Mohan, who produced ‘Uyyala Jampala’ is jointly producing the movie along with Annapurna Studios. Sources tell us that the makers are considering ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ as the title of the film. ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ is the starting lyric of Legend ANR’s Asthiparulu movie. The song composed by KV Mahadevan in 1966 was a chart buster song back then.

According to media reports, actor-politician Babu Mohan said to have indulged in an argument with police officials at an event in Jala Vihar on Saturday. It all started when cops asked Babu Mohan’s driver to keep his car outside as there was no sufficient place. Taken aback by this gesture of police, Babu Mohan resorted to an argument which created a mild ruckus at the venue. 

However, the issue was solved later amicably. Babu Mohan apparently expressed his displeasure over cops functioning and said, “I’m being treated badly deliberately.” The former minister in TDP’s goverment has shifted his loyalties and joined TRS ahead of elections. Babu Mohan is now representing Andhol constituency in Medak district. He has won over ex Deputy CM Damodar Rajanarsimha with a thumping majority of over 40,000 votes. Babu Mohan was said to be disappointed as he was not taken into KCR’s cabinet.

Even though, both Ram Charan and director Krishna Vamsi have great respect for veteran writers but were unhappy with interference and suggestion of writers-duo during the making of “GAV”. “Of course, they used their dialogues and also dropped or tweaked many of their dialogues and at times overlooked many of their out-dated story corrections. 

They had to tolerate writers because megastar forced the writers upon them. So, major credit for box office success, should go to Charan-Vamsi ideas only” reveals a source, who discloses how, actor and director would arrive on the sets, once they confirmed, that the writers were not on sets to discuss next day’s work. “They used to check with assistant director on the sets and only then, they would step in” adds source. Good strategy, indeed!

The light-hearted action film laced with Sai’s pranks, his dancing prowess and pretty Regina adding to glam quotient worked in big time for the film. Though, not a novel script, but tactful screenplay sustained audience interest and it’s bound to pick up fast. 

Erra Bus: Promoted as a family drama revolving around an educated grandson and old-fashioned grandpa had a sedate start and nearly made 1 Crore on day 1 and it will take time to catch up, since its not a regular heroism-centric movie. Vishnu underplays and impresses as a lovable IT guy but Dasari could have restrained his performance a bit, with mixed reviews and response, it should attract family audience, to change gears at the box office. 

Brother of Bommali: Despite sparkling performance by Allari Naresh and Karthika and others, the film managed to cover 1.6 crore in the first week and lack of good promotion, is dampening its collections, “Only aggressive promotion could save its fortune” adds source. Will Allari Naresh who is also producer will spent money, to change its fortune, we have to wait and see.. 

Joru: After opening on a positive note, the much-much-hyped entertainer “Joru” is losing its grounds and just managed to make 1.7 core (Nizam 50 lakh, Andhra 60 lakh, Ceded 30 lakh and other 20 lakh) in first week and if collections doesn’t pick up, it would cause big losses for distributors who bought for big sums. Sundeep tries to salvage a poorly-etched role and Brahmi adds a spark, but three pretty girls, turn out thanda, to affect its collections. .

Karthikeya: Surely, murder mystery of director Chandoo had established that T-town viewer are game for ‘novel themes’ and spun box office magic with “Karthikeya” as it garnered Rs. 7.5 crore and revived the winning streak of actor Nikhil.

With technological revolution making it possible for man to record even the minutest movement happening on mars, Ramu feels that it’s time to prove that even film industries need not be located in just major cities like Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai. 

On November 18th, Ramu wants to hold a meeting at Karimnagar, the birthplace of Telangana movement, to educate masses about setting up a film industry in the town, without any support or link with Hyderabad. Ramu has issued a call to Karimanagar people to take part in the summit. Well, a good idea, but implementing it is not as easy as our director has thought, say cine circles.
