Sridevi as Queen, Hansika as Princess
It’s all official. As reported by us earlier, Athiloka Sundari is going to play mother for Hansika Motwani in an upcoming Tamil film which has Vijay in the lead. Touted to be Vijay’s 58th film, the movie will be directed by Chimbudvan.
The interesting news is that Hansika will be seen as princess whereas Sridevi essays the role of queen. Simply put, Sridevi plays mother to Hansika Motwani in this adventure fantasy. Although earlier Shruti Haasan’s name was cropped up initially, later makers have zeroed in on Hansika.
After pairing up with the likes of Suriya, Simbhu, Hansika is now all set to romance Vijay. Considering that Hansika and Sridevi are well-known in Telugu, makers are also planning to release it in Telugu. It’s definitely an eye feast to watch the both beauties on single screen.

Trailer Talk: Horror Starts Where It Ends
There are many loop holes and unsolved questions if we look at maverick director Ravibabu’s recent offering ‘Avunu’. It happens to be a horror thriller where a ghost haunts a woman (Seematapakai fame Poorna) in broad day light. Unsatisfied with the scare he has given, Ravibabu is now getting ready to give another dose from this franchisee.
Titled ‘Avunu 2’, Ravibabu is all set to entertain and horrify us with his trademark thriller, which is a sequel to the erstwhile ‘Avunu’. Indicating that the flick starts from where it ends in its first part, the first ever teaser of this sequel shows Poorna decorating and rearranging her home. As usual, Ravibabu maintained that white tinge all over, as from costumes to properties, everything colored in white, and finally scared us with a devil taking over.

Brother of Bommali Movie Review – 3/5
Movie :Brother of Bommali
Rating :3/5
Cast: Allari Naresh, Karthika, Monal Gajjar and others
Directed by: B. Chinni
Produced by: K. Ammi Raju
Banner: Siri Cinema
Music by: Sekhar Chandra
Release Date: 2014-11-07
Allari Naresh’s latest film Brother of Bommali made some buzz pre release due to interesting promos. B. Chinni directed this film in which Karthika played the role of hero’s sister.
Story :
Rama Krishna (Allari Naresh) and Maha Lakshmi (Karthika) are twins. Ramakrishna is a soft going guy and Lakshmi is a rebel. Ramakrishna falls in love with Sruthi (Monal Gajjar). Ramakrishna should help her sister’s love to succeed to marry his lover. Then starts the mission of Brother of Bommali.
Performances:
Allari Naresh: Allari Naresh is undoubtedly the main highlights of the film. His impeccable comedy timing and expressions will keep you entertained. Allari Naresh shines even in the scenes that are not up to the mark.
Karthika: This is tailor made role for Karthika and she does it convincingly. She is good in action episodes and impressed with very good dance moves.
Others: Harsha Vardhan Rane is alright. Monal has nothing much to do. Brahmanandam adds value to the film with his presence. Abhimanyu Singh tries his hand at comedy. Nagineedu, Kelly Dorjee and others did within their limitations. Bhanu Mehra did an important role and she is fine.
On the Technical Front:
Director Chinni plays it safe by applying Srinu Vytla formula in the second half. Brother of Bommali has interesting plot and an entertaining first half. But the director messed it up in the second half by taking the beaten path. He has a very good sense of humor and it is evident in few scenes. Music by Sekhar Chandra is mediocre. Fights by Ram Lakshman are over the top. There is nothing much to write about other technical aspects of the film except for the impressive dialogues.
Analysis:
Brother of Bommali has a very interesting plot and the first hour runs smoothly with loads of entertainment. We expect brand new comedy in the second half with interesting character sketches and a promising premise. But there comes a twist during the interval scene to make it a formulaic entertainer. We have seen too many films in the recent past that has similar second half with hero playing mind games with the villains to reach his goal.
There are not many laugh out loud comedy scenes in the second half in spite of having Brahmanandam, Ali and others. Allari Naresh does his best to keep the audience interested with his performance. Climax is alright compared to dull second half. Nice plot, Good star cast and entertaining first half are the plus points of Brother of Bommali.
A better second half could have made it a memorable comedy. You may watch it for Allari Naresh and few genuine laughs. We have to wait and see if this stuff is enough for Naresh to pull it off at the box office.
Verdict: One time Watch
Allu Arvind Stays Off Charan’s Films?
Allu Arvind, is the man who is the mastermind behind Geeta Arts and the man behind the mega group becoming the brand it is today. After starting out as a financier, he got into production, distribution and even launched his son as a successful hero. In fact, it is a known fact that Arvind played a key role in making Chiranjeevi the megastar. However, of late, Allu Arvind has cut down on his involvement when it comes to projects of Ram Charan.
Though he still puts in a word and settles issues if anything crops up, talk in industry is that he does not sit through sittings and set combinations for Chiranjeevi’s heir apparent. On the other hand, he sits through story sittings of his son Bunny. However, since the generation has changed, if Bunny likes a script, he is okaying it too. It is said that Arvind has also been trying to take a break from work schedules whenever possible.
It is being said that he has also cut down on office work by settling matters over phone or deploying his supervisory team to look after the details. Nevertheless, he hasn’t cut down on production work. Apparently, at least six small films are at various stages of planning. The film might be made under Bunny Vasu banner or Geeta Arts or B Banner. At the end, all of them are controlled by Allu Arvind. Wonder why he chose stay away from Ram Charan’s films after all?
