Director Sujeeth, who made his splashy debut with Sharwanand-starrer Run Raja Run, has grabbed a plum offer if sources to be believed. Sujeeth is going to direct none other than A-lister Naga Chaitanya if all goes well. Already, couple of meetings between Sujeeth and Chaitanya have been done.

Apparently, Chaitanya asked to come with a novel story and not regular youthful romance. “Chaitanya wants a different story and he insisted Sujeeth that it should be more than a love story or not a love story,” shares a source on condition of anonymity. Source adds, “Although the project is in nascent phase, Chaitanya is keen on working with Sujeeth and the project would materialize very soon.” 

Sujeeth shot to fame with short films and finally made his debut as feature film director with Run Raja Run. The film opened to good reviews and minted money at Box Office. It need to be seen how Sujeeth will continue his success streak.

Delhi beauty Lavanya Tripathi, the girl who wooed Telugu audiences with her debut flick ‘Andala Rakshasi’ is yet to get her big break. Thouh she sizzled alongside Vishnu in ‘Doosukelta’ and after doing a cameo in ‘Manam’, stars are not on her side for sure. But producer Dil Raju’s ‘Kerintha’ being directed by Sai Kiran Adivi is expected to be a game changer for this gorgeous beauty. Seems like, that turned a nightmare now. 

According to reports, producer Dil Raju is unhappy with the performance of Lavanya in ‘Kerintha’. Almost after 25 days of shoot, Raju has reportedly called director Sai Kiran Adivi to reshoot everything. Lately it has come out that Raju wants Lavanya to be replaced as he felt that the essence of the story is missing due to her inability to portray this particular role of a contemporary girl who’s into live-in relation with the hero. Sources stated that ‘Drushyam’ fame Kruthika Jayakumar (Venky’s elder daughter in the movie) has replaced Lavanya now. Let’s wait for some official confirmation.

This Friday, as usual the box-office is getting spiced up with two more new movies as we will be witnessing the release of Allari Naresh’s Brother of Bommali and Sandeep Kishan’s Joru. As the ticket-counters swing open in the mornings, here comes the hype and hoopla surrounding these flicks. Looking by the trailers, one could easily figure out that hero Allari Naresh is putting up his ‘innocent’ best to burst bellies. 

Under playing as a gentle brother alongside an aggressive sister, played by Karthika, our tall hero brings out the best of laughs again. “This is not a brother-sister kind of film, but a two-hero multi starrer where me and Karthika are heroes”, says Naresh. With most of Tollywood’s happening comedians taking part in this laugh riot, surely ‘Brother Of Bommali’ is expected to draw big crowds from morning itself. 

This flick is directed by Chinni Krishna (Veedu Theda fame). Coming to ‘Joru’, Sandeep Kishan is portraying a pakka commercial hero role this time, all said and done with comedy to the core. Hilarious sequences that include Brahmi and Saptagiri are going to stand as a highlight, while our hero’s romance with Raasi Khanna and two other heroines Priya Banerjee, Sushma Raj is a treat to watch. 

This comic romance is carved by Gundello Godari fame Kumar Nagendra. Also, senior hero Arjun’s latest action thriller ‘Jai Hind 2’ is hitting screens today. Hollywood flick, Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar is also releasing for which urban theatres have kept ‘house full’ boards already.

As expected, creative director Gunasekhar has given a ‘superb’ birthday gift to beauiifuvl diva Anushka Shetty who turns 33 today (Nov 7). He has released the ‘first edition’ making-video of his magnum opus ‘Rudramadevi 3D’, for which he is both producer and director. 

Showcasing the hard work that went into the making of Rudramadevi, this first-edition showcases how concepts related to the warrior-queen were sketched, visualized and then built. From specially designed sets to glittering jewellery, Guna paid huge attention to detail as Anushka steps into the shoes of Rudrama. 

It is her sword-fighting skills that amaze us as she is swift like a dragon and ferocious like a lion. War sequences are shot with magnanimity as the director and his lead lady delivers their best. Undoubtedly ‘Rudramadevi’ looks like an epic that could write history with golden words. Well done Gunasekhar and team.

But now, for the first time, a biopic is being made on a film celebrity and here is the interesting part, the celebrity is very much alive and kicking. He is none other than Sanjay Dutt fondly known as Sanju Baba.

News from Mumbai is that a biopic is being made on his life and the man to helm that project would be the super talented Rajkumar Hirani. This is quite an interesting project because the life of Sanjay Dutt has not at all been a bed of roses. Right from drugs to failed marriages to underworld connections to terrorism, Sanju has seen it all. 

Despite all the odds, he emerged to be a bankable superstar Bollywood has ever seen. Though he is currently in the Yerawada jail, Sanju is still the sought after actor. So, it would be interesting to see what further truths will come out in his biopic.

According to inside information, Allari Naresh and Karthika-starrer Brother of Bommali which is due for release on November 7 is said to be a laugh riot. Buzz is that the movie has shaped up well and it’s reportedly out-and-out entertainer. While Brahmanandam, Allari Naresh, Karthika said to have elevated the film, comedian-director Chinna Krishna (Veedu Theda fame) worked hard enough and made it well.

Meanwhile, we hear that the film’s second half, which usually play pivotal role and key deciding factor in the film’s success, has come out well. “Second half predominantly was set in Rayalaseema backdrop and there are a whole lot of funny scenes which tickle one’s funnybone. Naresh will be back after the film,” said source in the know. And another sentiment for the film is that Monal Gajjar will be seen romancing Naresh again as the duo’s previous film Sudigadu was sleeper hit.
