According to highly-placed sources, milky beauty Tamanna was considered for Gunasekhar’s upcoming magnum opus Rudhramadevi as actress Anushka Shetty took a while to commit for the role. Sources spilled the beans that Gunasekhar approached Tammanna as Anushka was caught in two minds in signing for the role of Rudhramadevi as she was also approached for Baahubali at more or less same time. 

With this, Guna apparently asked Tamanna to do the role of warrior princess, overlooking her glamorous image.”It would have been the biggest and risky gamble for producer-director Guna. No doubt, Tammanah is craziest star at the moment but casting her in an author-backed role, is bit hard to digest,” adds the source. 

In between, talented actress Anushka approved the script and project went on sets, in just few weeks thereafter. After impressive first look with Anuskha as sowrd-wielding princess scoring big marks, it seems that Tammanah would have been a misfit and almost saved the career of Gunasekar, who is already reeling under flops. Certain roles seems to be tailor-made for certain people and after “Arundathi”, its Rudrama Devi for Anushka.

Swetha Basu Prasad, National Award Winning actress experienced lot of trauma and pain when arrested on charges of prostitution. Even before she could clarify media haunted her spreading fabricated stories about her prostitution. This hurt her the most as she was not allowed to speak with anyone during her stay at rescue home where she was sent by court.

However on her return following higher court’s order, Shweta decided to share her feelings turning a poet. She penned few heart touching lines in a poem titled ‘Cliff’. 

“Thunderstruck, all alone, I stand here at the edge of the cliff.

I crawled the dense forest to get here. The tribes and wild and strays they say ‘Jump, jump from the cliff.’ As I look down, naked, cold and trembling, The ferocious sea I see with its mouth open It’s ready to swallow me. 

The noises are unbearable the place so dark. As I decided to jump in the sea I saw the North Star.

I remembered how it shone above my blessed home where singing hugging and laughter awaited me I said, ‘Wait I want to go home.’ The voices murmured, ‘End the journey.’ ‘Jump! Jump you ugly thing.’ 

I smiled to them and pitied them, They don’t know I have wings.”
