In a stunning revelation, seductress Surveen Chawla who has come under spotlight with her bikini, bedroom and bare acts as a lead lady in ‘Hate Story 2’, accused that there is casting couch existing in Southern film industries. However her most breakthrough film is Punjabi movie ‘Singh Vs Kaur’ produced by veteran producer D Ramanaidu.

“When I’m working in South, a casting agent asked me that his ‘Sir’ wants to have relationship with me for the duration of the film to understand the role better. That director is one of top National Award winning filmmakers, and indirectly it is a hint that I need to sleep with him”, said Surveen Chawla, while sharing her struggles before getting an identification in Bollywood.

She added, “I told the casting manager that he couldn’t force me to sleep and that shut his mouth. Such things didn’t happen for me in Mumbai”. As this hottie has acted in a couple of Tamil films and one Telugu movie, we wonder about which industry she is talking about particular. Many heroines earlier revealed that casting couch exists in Bollywood but quite unseen in South. Surveen’s case is surely a shocking incident then.

Survey: 9 Of 10 Satisfied With Modi Rule

Right after crushing Congress to defeat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started showing his stamp on governance. Though he faced some electoral reverses with in month of swearing in as PM losing some MP seats in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar etc, his close aide Amit Shah, President of BJP turned the party stronger winning Haryana and Maharashtra.

According to the latest survey, which may prove death-knell to Congress party which is hoping for a comeback cashing in on to Modi’s mistakes, PM Modi got Thumbs Up from Urban India. FourthLion Technologies, a Bangalore based firm which conducted the survey using high-speed polling technology InstaVaani, said nine out of ten participants approved Modi’s performance in the office.

Survey once again proves what political analysts have been saying that BJP is on ascendancy after its wins in Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections. Survey conducted on August 15 showed more than 82% approved Modi’s style of functioning. Survey indicates that approval rate fell down from 84% due to Modi Govt’s handling of Blackmoney issue. More than 90% of the two wheeler and four wheeler users approved Modi’s actions. Analysts say Modi’s tech savvy ways may have helped him garner this tremendous support. Modi also reached everyone by addressing through All India Radio.

Jagan Editing NTR in Goa

Speed man Puri Jagan is leaving no stone unturned to reach the January 9th deadline, as he is directing Young Tiger NTR for the second time. Their upcoming cop-saga is currently being fimled at exotic locales in Goa, though the director wants every frame to look like Vizag.

Yes, as Hudhud damaged the Andhra coastal city, Jagan is canning few Vizag based scenes in Goa now along with couple of hot songs on NTR and Kajal. And here comes the interesting part. In fact, if Jagan has to shoot all the movie and then edit it his office in Jubilee Hills, he has to return to Hyderabad all the way and do it.

To cut shot the time, our dashing director used his brilliance and has setup a temporary edit suite in his Goa’s hotel by shifting all the equipment from Hyderabad office. Editor SR Sekhar was made to stay in Goa to take care of editing part and Puri Jagan will join the show in the evenings after wrapping day’s shooting. Literally Jr NTR and his director are putting 24×7 of their time into the film. Hope all this hard work pays off.

Yes PR and portfolio are all important, but acting is more important. Focus on acting.” Now a superstar, Shah Rukh had entered the movies with “Deewana”, in which he played a second fiddle, and worked his way up to be a superstar. “Nobody becomes an actor by planning things. Tollywood Into Major Cost Cutting

The film industry is going through a really rough patch. On one hand, lack of serious films and meaningful cinema is one problem. On the other, the audiences looking at films for weekend entertainment is another major reason for this rather disturbing state of affairs. The theatres are full on weekends and on public holidays, but situation is pathetic when it comes to week days.

Also, the audiences now come to theatres only when a film gets the blockbuster status. All other films are unable to cross the Sunday barrier. In fact, if a film is made on low budget, then it can recover the money within days. But if a film is a heavy budget movie, then the theatres must be full for weeks. Else, there won’t be returns on par with the investment made.

Let’s take the example of Govindudu Andari Vaadele. The film made money during the Dassera holidays. Once the vacation was over, the collections dipped immediately. Finally, the film was put under the average category with an overall loss of 10-20 per cent on the overall investment. In the past, Yevadu faced a similar predicament. After Sankranthi vacation, the collections were nil.

Only films like Race Gurram, Manam, Loukyam managed to run beyond three to four weeks. This is the main reason behind the film-makers trying to cut production costs drastically in the coming days. Now, if they also reduce the selling prices for buyers, then all sections will end up being happy.

Sonia Gandhi is getting angry on defection of Congress MLAs in Telangana. “What TPCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah and CLP leader Jana Reddy is doing?” Sonia questioned senior Congress leaders. She blamed AICC in charge Digvijay Singh and Secretary Kunthiya for not stopping defection of MLAs into TRS. She directed leaders not to lose at least existing Congress MLAs. Except Nalgonda MLA Komati Reddy all other MLAs and MLCs were attended the CLP meeting in Central Hall. RC Kunthiya made his appearance on behalf of Congress High Command.

Kunthiya said that Sonia had discussed Telangana party affairs with him and feel sad for not coming to the power in the region. Jana reddy expressed his inability to stop the defections. Reportedly, Jana offered PAC Chairman to Senior MLA Redya Naik for not leaving the Congress. Congress party has decided to stage dharna opposite the houses of Congress MLAs and MLCs. Congress is also in thought of the division at the time of Assembly sessions so that Congress MLAs should abide with WHIP. Otherwise they might be disqualified.

Ace Comedian Brahmanandham has almost become a mandatory presence in all the star films these days. There are several instances in which Brahmi single handedly made several Average films as hits and hit films as super hits. But Young Tiger NTR will not have the ace comedian in his next film directed by Puri Jagannadh. Sources close to the movie unit confirmed us that Brahmi is not present in the film but the presence of other comedians like Ali, Sapthagiri and Posani Krishna Murali will take care of the comedy quotient.

It may be reminded that Brahmanandham played a crucial role in NTR’s all time biggest hit, Baadshah. However there are rumours that NTR had ego differences with the comedian since Baadshah success credit went to Brahmi. Shamsher, Temper, Rubabu are the titles doing rounds for the film. The makers are yet to take a final call on this.

The film is currently being shot in Goa where major part of the film will be canned. Puri and NTR are ambitious to complete the film by December and release it for January 9th, 2015 as Sankranthi gift. Puri Jagannadh earlier directed NTR in Andhrawala and the film was an utter flop. The duo wants to make amends for it now. Anup Rubens will be composing music for this film and it will be his first time for NTR.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu turned serious on his lady minister after entrie state is discussing about granite businessmen costly gift worth a whopping Rs 37 lakhs. According to sources AP secretariat is abuzz with news that granite businessmen from Prakasam district presented a posh ‘Vaddanam’ (waist belt) to Women Welfare and Mines Minister Peetala Sujatha.

It is coming out that they organised a felicitation ceremony for Peetala Sujatha and they presented her a RS 37 lakhs vaddanam. Buzz is brother of Minister from the same district organised he meeting. On hearing this, Chandra Babu got serious and called her into his cabin and asked explanation from Sujatha.

However Sujatha refuted all these allegations and said she never received any gifts of any kind from anyone. She said she has no links to the vaddanam story. She even said AP CM didnot ask her any explanation. She however confessed that granite businessmen felicitated her.
