Telangana MLA To Join Into Congress
Telangana Congress which has been reeling under string of losses and defections from its party to the ruling TRS despite taking a bold step to create Telangana bifurcating Andhra Pradesh just before elections without heeding to the stringent opposition, is now getting an ‘Independent Delight’.
It is known that recently Congress President Sonia Gandhi blasted Jana Reddy and Ponnala Lakshmiah for failing to stop defections and Jana expressing his helplessness in doing so. According to the latest Donthi Madhavreddy, Independent MLA from Narsampet, Warangal District is joining Congress.
He already reached Delhi with his supporters and will be meeting President Sonia Gandhi and VP Rahul Gandhi. Donti’s decision is creating interest among political circles as he alone is joining the party when even top leaders are deserting to join TRS.
11-yr-old forced CM for an interview
After Devendra Fadnavis took oath as BJP’s first CM of Maharashtra on October 31, he gave a series of interviews in the next few days to the media. But he was bowled with one interviewer and that was done by 11 year old school girl.Drishti Harchandrai is a student of Class V at Mumbai’s JB Petit School. She lives in Malabar Hill, near the Sahyadri guest house, where the Chief Minister is currently staying.
As part of her school homework Drishti wanted to interview a prominent person and she have chosen none other tahn chief minsiter.But utter to her bad luck teh chief minsiter security personnel not allowed her inside and she was sent home by the security men. Saddened with that she wrote a letter one full sheet of her school exercise book. “The security guards are not allowing me in, if and when you get my letter please call on my cell number… I need an interview for school,” she wrote. At last that letter reached to Devendra and he immedialtly invited the girl to his home and patiently answered all the questions asked by the girl.
The Maharashtra CM shared his experience in a series of tweets on the micro-blogging site Twitter. ‘’I got a surprising message yesterday, when I was busy with my work in the government guest house in Mumbai..Drishti Harchandani, a school girl wanted to interview me. She could not enter the office as the security persons did not allow her. So she sent a letter and gave her number and address so that I should communicate with her. She wanted to confirm that she was communicating to the CM himself. I was pleasantly surprised by her persistence and curiosity.
I invited her in the office.She asked questions like what would I do for education sector&how our Govt would control price rise,just like a Professional Journalist.’’Said Devendra Fadnavis
KCR Agenda: No Opposition
Deputy CLP leader in Assembly T Jeevan Reddy on Tuesday accused Telangana Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao of trying to eliminate the entire opposition in the State, so that he and his family members could loot the state. He alleged that KCR was trying to break the opposition parties, which was against the spirit of democracy.
He said if KCR was interested in increasing his strength in Assembly, then he should ask rebels of other parties to first quit their posts and join his party. Later, he should get them elected on TRS symbol. The Congress leader threatened to approach the Governor or Election Commission of India seeking disqualification of rebel legislators of Congress party.
He said Assembly Speaker S Madhusudan Chary and Council Chairman Swamy Goud could disqualify the rebel legislators as per Schedule 10 Para (3) of the Constitution. However, he alleged that they were delay the decision on disqualification. He said he would approach Governor ESL Narasimhan or lodge a complaint with the ECI if the Speaker and Chairman fail to take any action.

Raktha Charitha in Nandyal: Bhuma Vs Shilpa!
Group wars in Nandyal in the recent past reminds us of factionism in Anantapur district. The reason behind clashes in municipal council meeting and call for Nandyal bandh on Saturday is just an attempt to showcase the domination of two groups led by Sitting MLA Bhuma Nagireddy and Former Minister Shilpa Mohan Reddy. In 2014 Polls, Bhuma Nagireddy defeated Sitting MLA Shilpa Mohan Reddy who is Nadhyal’s strongman and also served as minister during YSR’s regime.
Issues like Road Widening and Demolishing Illegal Constructions have led to clashes between Bhuma and Shilpa Groups in council meeting. Several TDP Leaders and Workers have been injured in these attacks. Non-Bailable warrant has been issued against Bhuma Nagireddy and the legislator even surrendered before the police following stern warning. These group wars established political rivalry between two influential political families in Nandyal.
Sachin calls Greg Chappell a Ring Master
Batting Maestro Sachin Tendulkar described Greg Chappell who worked as Indian Coach for 2 years (2005-2007) as a ‘ringmaster’ and accused him of imposing his ideas on the players giving least importance to their feelings & comfort. In his autobiography ‘Playing It My Way’, Sachin shared Greg Chappell didn’t have any respect for Rahul Dravid as captain and contemplated on replacing ‘The Wall’ with him.

Can KCR dare to hold GHMC elections immediately?
The senior TDP MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao described the Telangana CM KCR as the most incapable person to sit in the CM’s seat. He has reportedly attacked KCR stating that he is a drunkard and also a man of loose character.
Errabelli reportedly predicted that it is only a matter of two years before the TRS will get wiped away and hence KCR is supporting party defections. Errabelli meanwhile expressed confidence that the TDP and BJP alliance would definitely win the mayor’s post in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, he was also throwing a challenge to KCR asking whether he would resign when this happens.
At the same time, TDP leaders have challenged KCR to hold GHMC elections immediately because they feel KCR is only postponing elections. This is because he wants more defections. Now even BJP and Congress are daring KCR to hold GHMC elections immediately, sensing that TRS may draw flak. For now, the reactions from KCR and the TRS camp are eagerly awaited to see where this issue leads.
VV Vinayak demands 15 crores! For what?
Shocked! But yes the successful director is all set himself to demand 15 crores from King Nagarjuna to direct Akhil Akkineni’s grand debut movie is the latest buzz in Tollywood. This is because Nagarjuna is going to produce Akhil’s debut movie under Annapurna Studios banner. This is surely not new to Vinayak to demand such a huge amount.
Very recently, when he launched Bellamkonda Suresh’s son Sai Srinivas he demanded 12 crores and Suresh also gave him a nod. So, Akhil even being much more important hero for the Industry so Vinayak may ask nothing less than 12 crores is the talk. Sources even added that Vinayak has already made all deals with Nagarjuna regarding the remuneration and even Nag gave a nod for 15 cores is the talk. So, this is truly going to be the huge remuneration for a director.
Well, there are many young directors who are still waiting to get a chance but Vinayak is on the top! Meanwhile, Akhil is in the process of a complete make over and is almost done polishing his skills. The shooting may start in December or January next year. Bangaru Telangana or Kangaru Telangana?
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Tuesday ridiculed that “Bangaru Telangana” turned out to be “Kangaru Telangana” with many worries haunting the TRS government. Ponnala alleged that the power crisis in the State began only after TRS came to power. “When the AP government was denying power to Telangana State, why KCR did not make efforts to move a court?” he asked.
The PCC chief demanded that the TRS government should allocate adequate funds for welfare of people and development of the State as it promised during elections. The TRS Government failed to tackle power crisis and suicides by farmers, he said, adding that the Congress will play its role in the Assembly during the Budget session beginning from Wednesday.
“We will expose the failures of the government as benefits of many schemes were not reaching the people”, he said. He also alleged that the CM is resorting to frighten the people with regard to issue of pensions, ration cards and other benefits from the government. He blamed the TRS Government for disowning responsibility to the ongoing deaths by the farmers.
It’s Time To Rethink TDP-BJP Alliance!
TDP-BJP alliance from the beginning has been on tenterhooks ever since it was stitched at the last minute during the general elections. Both sides after announcing breakup with in a day, later entered into an alliance in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh following intervention of top leadership.
TDP which came to power is now spending sleepless as BJP is trying to strengthen and expand its base both in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Minister of Social Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu speaking at a press conference said TDP will rethink over its alliance with BJP.
He said his party will introspect and then decide on till what extent they will treat BJP as alliance partner. He said TDP entered into alliance only for AP development and there will not be any compromise on party’s principles.
14 Years After Death, Jandhyala Gets Doctorate
Legendary director Jandhyala who redefined comedy on Tollywood silver screen might have deserted us a decade back. However he is always in the memories of movie lovers. This is the reason why even many organizations and universities will pay tributes to him, honoring him in right earnest. Recently he was honoured with honorary doctorate.
Academy of Global Peace recognised by USA and Swastha Environment and Human Rights Foundation presented honorary doctorate to Jandhyala on November 1st. Annapoorna Jandhyala, wife of Jandhyala received the award on his behalf. It is a great achievement, honour not only for Jandhyala but also for Tollywood as he got the doctorate even after 14 years after his demise. Truly, a great tribute to the great soul.
