Never letting a popping rumor grow into a negative vibe, producer Bandla Ganesh is always hitting them with a hammer when it comes to his latest production ventures. Most interestingly, he is not allowing anyone to publicize a possible release-date shift of Ram Charan’s ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’.

A super confident Ganesh always maintained that Krishna Vamsi’s creative magic will be witnessed by Tollywood from October 1st without any fail. With Ram Charan and his dancers still filming a song in London recently, cine lovers expressed doubts whether GAV team could race against time and wrap the work in stipulated time. Also it is heard that the team might leave a song unfinished and add it later. However, Ganesh took to nail such thoughts and confirmed that October 1st is the mega date. What’s the reason for his confidence anyway?

We hear that Krishna Vamsi completed total editing work of the movie prior to taking off for Londan and Jordan. Except inserting those songs in the middle, he has the whole flick locked and moved it to music director Yuvan Shankar Raja’s re-recording studio. Occasionally Megastar Chiru is keeping a tab on how this background score work is progressing. Probably that makes clear why Ganesh is super confident about Govindudu’s release. 

Well, this sounds like a pure shock as the exit of Young Tiger led to a sensational combination to be weaved for Telugu cinema screen. From a long time, director Vamsi Paidipally is trying to make ends meet such that a never seen before combination like NTR and Nagarjuna will be joining hands for a flick. In no angle, that materialized.

As Nagarjuna suggested heavy changes in the script, Jr NTR has finally walked out of it hinting that such a story will dent his image a lot. A visibly shocked Vamsi Paidipally has no options left other than changing the script for NTR or replacing NTR with someone else. Sources revealed that young Tamil hero Karthi who is trying to debut in a straight Telugu movie from a long time has given nod for the project. Given that Karthi has a different kind of craze compared to NTR in Tollywood, even Nag doesn’t mind some changes in his character. That’s a stunning news for today, let us see how far it holds good.

What was the need for the writer-turned-director K S Ravindra(Bobby) to take potshots at leading Telugu filmmaker S S Rajamouli in his film “Power” by claiming that ‘two similar looking people’ (remember Vikramarkudu) can only be  seen in cinema and not in real-life (through the dialogues of Prakash Raj) or its a satire on all double and triple actions movies in Telugu cinema per se. Doesn’t the debutant director know that commercial filmmakers take some ‘cinematic liberties’ to reach out to masses and designed two or three roles, to satiate the feelings of their respective fans and also to contrasting shades of a single star.

Ironically, debutant director who is hugely inspired by “Vikramarkudu” (only few could deny it) like fun and serious characterization of Mass Maharaja and hero avenging the abuse of cop’s wife and also cop’s death, in Rajamouli’s blockbuster. So its better for young director to comment others, if had done anything original, and also takes his own set of liberties (like outdated amnesia) to justify dual role, instead of commenting the works of seasoned makers. 

The power of power star Pawan Kalyan has gone beyond the comprehension of the common man. While more than half of Tollywood has become his fans, it appears that those in neighbouring industries are also having his admirers. This was revealed at the ongoing SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards) at Kuala Lumpur.

Tamil star Simbu received the award for the best singer (male) in Telugu. He crooned for the track ‘Diamond Girl…’ for the film ‘Baadshah’. Sharing his thoughts, Simbu stated that he feels really honored to receive the award in the presence of Chiranjeevi and expressed his thanks to Thaman and Junior NTR who were part of ‘Baadshah’ team.

Well known film director and guru of mass movies Srinu Vaitla today called on AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu and congratulated him resumption of stewardship of the state for a third innings.

During the brief meeting the film director said the film industry welcomed the initiatives and the red carpet rolled out by the Chandrababu Naidu government for development of Visaakhapatnam as a hub of Telugu industry. ‘We will certainly exploit the opportunity and also promote the Telugu film shooting activity ion the natural scenic locales of Araku and Srikakulam belt’. 

The AP government has proposals to promote the coastal andhra and also select spots in Rayalaseema as a hub of Telugu film industry. Telugu film industry is keen to become part of the Chandrababu Naidu mission to transform Ap into Suvarnadhra, he said.

Asked whether he had any plans to make a film on the political journey and the milestones in life of Chandrababu Naidu, the ace film director said he would love to do such a project and will wait for consent and proper script for the project.

While the ban on transmission of news channels TV9 and ABN Andhrajyothy is close to 100 days, for the first-time a Tollywood actor has responded on the contentious issue. It’s none other than actor-revolutionary filmmaker R. Narayanamurthy. However taking everyone by surprise, Murthy “supported” the blockage of telecast of channel by MSOs.

According to media reports, Murthy pointed out at TV9 for “belittling” the “culture”, “tradition”, “slang” of Telangana. Not many know that R. Narayanamurthy, who constantly taken the side of Telangana, hails from Andhra Pradesh region. He was born in Mallampet of East Godavari district.

It may be recalled that TV9 already apologised on the issue publicly and also sent apologies to the Speaker of Telangana and its Legislative Members and ensured that such “mistakes” will not be repeated. Despite the intervention of Union Broadcasting Minister, Tribunal’s verdict, MSOs haven’t revoked the ban.

Jr NTR is essaying a powerful police officer role in his next, for which he teamed up with talented Puri Jagan. As the flick’s first schedule came to an end post release of ‘Rabhasa’, it was publicized that failure of that movie led to changes in script of Puri Jagan’s flick. That’s not true anyway.

Though Bandla Ganesh has given clarity that no story changes are being carried out for NTR-Jagan movie, tentatively titled Nenorakam, film circles haven’t believed it. To silence critics, Ganesh confirmed that second schedule of this much hyped flick will kick-start from September 10th, and there is no buzz about the movie though we have crossed that date already. A dig into the happening revealed an interesting thing that will excite NTR’s fans.

In fact, Jr NTR is keen to start shooting at the earliest but the incessant rains have played spoilsport. Bad rain interrupted the construction of a police station set at which second schedule is to be shot. Probably the flick might take off from September 15th as the art-department is hopeful about building the set by then.
