22-year-od Shruti got separated from her first husband and met 35-yr-old businessman Ronald Peter Prinzo. The couple did a few businesses which incurred losses. Failing to repay debts, Prinzo had apparently forced her to be part of group sex for porn films to which she refused. According to police, Shruti joined hands with Prinzo’s friends who feel cheated as Prinzo didn’t repay their debt and plotted his murder.

She gave him poisoned milk on Jan 1 at their house in Chennai. When he started to lose awareness, his friends choked him to death. Later they took away the body to outskirts and buried there. The actress and accomplices took possession of Rs 75 Lakh cash, valuables from Prnizo’s house and fled the spot. Cops finally unraveled the mystery, caught few accomplices in January and exhumed victim’s body in May. The actress, who was on run, was arrested on Thursday night in Bangalore. Two other accomplices are on run.

At present, we have this banner ’14 Reels Entertainment’ who are coming up with their third movie for Superstar Mahesh. Reports have that ’14 Reels’ is now heading to invest 100 Crores on Mahesh for a single. They made Dookudu, 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu with the numero uno star already, but haven’t confirmed any immediate future project with him. After pooling around 70 Crores for ‘1’, they have burnt hands as Sukumar’s unique storyline failed to impress general audiences. And ‘Aagadu’ is also another high budgeted flick, but it looks like a money spinner at box office. Irrespective of these results, these producers want to go ahead for a 100 crore budget film with Mahesh, if at all director Shankar handles the mantle.

After watching the trailer of ‘Manoharudu’, they have come to such a conclusion, say sources. Investing 100 crore on Mahesh is easy because his brand-name pulls finances simply. What matters is recovery, and the kind of publicity and promotions needed to collect such a mammoth budget. Tollywood hasn’t entered 100 Crore club in collections, and if stars like Mahesh wants to aim at it, they are welcome.

What even top actresses like Tammanah, Samanta and Kaajal, never dared to impose restrictions but Avantika Gor just allot 7 days for a Telugu film and remaining 21 days in month are meant for her Hindi TV serials. “We have to adjust dates of other actors and crew accordingly” says a source in the production house.

It still surprising how, producer are willing to sign her knowing that they shoot for 5 months, if she alloted 40 days with 7 days a month commitment. Tamil hero and grandson of ex CM Karunanidhi, Udaynidhi Stalin, had been recently hospitalized due to his on screen love interest Nayantara. Both Nayan and Stalin were shooting for their upcoming romantic comedy Nanbenda. 

As part of the shoot Nayan and Stalin had to roll on together on a slope and Nayan had to slap the villain present there. That’s the scene. But accidentally Nayan had slapped hero Stalin on his eye where Nayan’s nails apparently hurt Stalin’s eyes by mistake.

According to latest reports, producer ‘Sravanthi’ Ravi Kishore has bought the Telugu remake rights of hit Tamil film Velai Illa Pattathari (VIP) for a fancy price. The movie featuring Dhanush turned out to be blockbuster and stood as highest grosser in Tamil for the year 2014.

We hear that Ravi Kishore would cast his nephew Ram Pothineni in the film. Of late, Ram has been struggling to score a success. Priyanka Chopra’s Mary Kom, a biopic of Boxing Champion Mary Kom, opened to mixed to poor reviews. Although critics lashed out at the film’s content and too many cinematic liberties taken, they praised Priyanka’s efforts and her acting prowess. Critics felt that the movie is far from reality and original life of Mary Kom. The film once again proved that making biopics is not so easy and debut director Omung Kumar failed to churn out a classic. The film’s stumbling block is its awkward screenplay and sloppy editing. 

However, Priyanka Chopra is the blessing in disguise in the film and now total responsibility lies on her charm. And movie does have its share of tear-shedding, heart-touching moments. One need to wait and watch whether PC could carry off the film on her shoulders or not. 

Despite clarity from producers, rumours about Jr NTR’s latest movie under Puri Jagan are not stopping. Though Bandla Ganesh announced that second schedule of this flick starts from September 10th, there are still some doubts doing rounds about ‘Nenorakam’.

Quashing rumors about halting of the movie, Ganesh confirmed that Puri-NTR’s latest movie is very much happening. Also a successful first schedule of the flick is getting praises from all quarters. However, couple of sources added that NTR asked Puri to change the story of the film. This is due to NTR’s half brother Kalyanram. We came to hear that Kalyanram’s ‘Pataas’ has similar story line of Puri Jagan’s flick. After making these observations, NTR asked Puri to make necessary changes to the script.

Insiders however expressed confidence that all these rumours will die down when Jr NTR joins the shoot of Puri Jagan’s movie. For the now, all this news about Kalyan Ram’s Pataas coincidence with NTR’s movie is purely a figment of imagination. Let’s wait for official news.
