Nag’s satire punch on Pawan Kalyan?
Throwing a satire or coming up with punch dialogues is quite common for the star heroes. In fact, it is much needed to give that kick to the fans. But sometimes few dialogues might just cross the line and become controversial. Something like that may happen with the new film ‘Bhai’ starring Nagarjuna.
According to inside reports, it is heard that there is a dialogue from Nag which goes like this “Trend set cheyyadam kaadhu asalu trend create chesindhi nene”. This has a direct reference to Pawan Kalyan’s dialogue in ‘Gabbar Singh’ about setting a trend. Sources say director Veerabhadram has got many such dialogues.
If this is true then we have to see how the power star fans will react to it. Apart from that, the film’s teaser was launched recently and it got a very good response. Nag will be seen in full masala style and his focus will be on dialogues. Richa Gangopadhyay is the heroine in this film.
VH attacked in Alipiri!!
With the ongoing Seemandhra agitation spilling over to the holy town of Tirumala, today there was lathi charge by police when agitators were trying to stop even the movement of private taxis to the holy temple of Tirumala at the Alipiri check point and they then reportedly attacked Senior Congress leader of Telangana and Rajya Sabha MP V. Hanumantha Rao with slippers for his role in AP bifurcation.
Sources say that situation got out of hand with Tirupathi now emerging as one of the epicenters of the ongoing agitation, it is taking a severe toll on the daily activities and the economy of the temple towns of Tirupathi and Tirumala.
Upset with the lathi charge that the police had resorted to, Seemandhra JAC has called for a bandh in the region tomorrow. For a region which is already facing a lot of trouble over Telangana issue, this seems to be one more hurting stone.
Chennai Vs Powerstar Vs Rupee
Right now Tollywood’s diehard fans are discussing about three things when they catch up for a tea in Film Nagar streets. They are about Chennai Express, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Rupee.
These three things are apparently creating record of sorts with their unique clicking with audiences. We have already read that Rupee has hit a historic low of 62 against 1 Dollar and it is continuing to deteriorate without any stopping. Irrespective of any norms taken up by RBI, or any inflation control schemes, Dollar is strengthening while Rupee is falling to win new records.
After Rupee, the most talked about records are made by the movie Chennai Express. At least in other 100 Cr club, a movie like 3 Idiots and Dabaang is having good storyline that can keep us glued to seats. But in Chennai Express, except Shahrukh’s comedy there is nothing much and still the movie created records with its first week collections. Predictable story line and scenes are not hampering viewing experience and that’s the magic of Chennai Express. The ‘records’ still continue.
Coming to Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, he is becoming a Powerful star on Youtube these days. Starting with the teaser of Attarintiki Daredi, trailer of the same movie and now Katam Rayuda song are getting not stop clicks on Youtube. In Telugu industry, no other hero’s film related videos have got such high click percentage on Youtube, crossing lakhs for a single video.

Tollywood Creativity Touching Worst
Telugu cinema industry’s creativity is touching new levels with each passing day. If you think that we are heading for a positive and brighter side, then you’re wrong. Our creativity is taking downslide for ‘poor’ reasons.
What is the best way to make a film click at Box Office? Either the film should have complete boothu to attract youths, or the movie should have imitations of Mega family heroes. Our young directors are banking only on these two things to sell their stuff. Already we have seen a movie titled ‘Pawanism’ coming up and the latest addition to it is ‘Bunny n Cherry’. Apparently the makers are cashing on fame of Mega heroes, and the title says it all. If at all the point in the movie, the content in the project is so strong, there is no need to use Mega heroes’ brand.
Apart from using Mega brand, another way of connecting with audience is boothu. Rather using this sleazy stuff inside a movie, our makers are spoiling youths with their booth laced posters too. A simple look at the ad of a movie ‘Amma Nanna Voorelithey’, shows how low our makers are stooping to get popularity. The silhouette of a girl bending slightly at her hip, and few guys trying to catch her with obscene gestures is what we notice. Is this creativity?
Maybe our directors and producers should rethink what they are doing with their conscience. No problem if someone doesn’t bring awards to Tollywood, but they should not spoil the name of this tinsel town.
She wants reason to do movie
Actress Kajol is looking for the kind of script that makes her feel it’s worth spending time away from her children when she starts shooting for the film.
“If I have to do a film, then I feel there should be a reason for it. The script should be so good and strong that the time I am not spending with my kids does not seems to be wasted. It should be that good,” Kajol told reporters here Thursday at the inaugration of a child care unit.The 39-year-old was last seen in a full-fledged role in two 2010 releases – “My Name Is Khan” and “Toonpur Ka Superhero”. She made a special appearance in Karan Johar’s 2012 directorial venture “Student Of The Year”.
As of now, Kajol, a mother of two kids – daughter Nysa and son Yug – is enjoying time with her family.
“To tell you the truth, I am very happy with my life, with my children. I am really happy bringing them up, spending time with them,” said the actress who is married to Ajay Devgn.
Process of state bifurcation has begun
PCC Chief Botcha Satyanarayana has said the process of creation of separate Telangana State has begun. He also said the Antony Committee would commence its hearing on the grievances of Seemandhra people on August 19 and 20.
Speaking to the media after a meeting with the Ministers from Telangana region here on Friday at Gandhi Bhavan, Botcha asked the all leaders to cooperate in the process of bifurcation of the State peacefully. Clarifying that there was no connection between the Antony Committee and division of the State, he said the Union Home Ministry would also consider the Antony Committee recommendations.
The PCC chief said the Antony Committee was constituted for hearing objections raised by all Congress leaders. He said the Committee will collect the information from both the regions.
On August 19, the Committee will hear the leaders from Telangana region and on August 20, it will give audience to the Seemandhra leaders. He also said the Seemandhra leaders would meet the Chief Minister at 5 pm on August 17 at the Camp Office. He said he would consider if the party leaders wanted to meet the Antony Committee individually.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister C. Damodar Rajanarasimha, Panchayatraj Minister K Jana Reddy, Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar, MLC Shabbir Ali and others met the PCC Chief.
Mahesh Babu missing his dad
Super Star Mahesh Babu is missing his dad Krishna garu very much which is the talk in One film unit from few days, said sources. Many of you are unaware that Mahesh Babu is very close to his father than any other member in his family.
Reason for this close attachment of son-dad is bcoz Mahesh acted in his dad films and debuting at a tender age of just 9 years. With every film Mahesh acted with Krishna garu bonding got thicker and stronger.
Mahesh was out of India post two months busy in shooting with ONE film and even though his family is around he is missing his dad. So Mahesh has cancelled Bangkok shoot and returning back to Hyderabad very soon.

Story
Satya (Sairam Shankar) comes from a well to do family and he chances upon Sathya (Esther) and falls for her at first sight. But the problem is, Sathya is already engaged to another person (Sameer Reddy). Still, Satya doesn’t give up and he cooks up few situations to get close to her. Finally, Sathya falls for Satya and she breaks her engagement to get married. However, the lies that Satya cooked to get her get discovered and both take a divorce. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Sairam Shankar didn’t really offer an impact creating performance and he has to work on getting a new stylist. But his efforts to contribute to the story were genuine.
Esther is the perfect package of raw sex appeal, wild beauty and a decent level of performance. She is a treat to the male eyes and if she plans her career well she can grow.
Nagababu was fabulous. He has shown a different side of actor in him through this role and played a key role in bringing some comic relief. He is one actor whose potential is yet to be tapped properly.
Comedians of Jabardasth comedy show fame, have made their presence felt but with feeble comedy.
The actors like Nalla Venu, Suman who did the role of Sairam’s friends were good and brought some entertainment. Hema was aggressive as usual. Naresh was hardly there. Good to see Babu Mohan back. Kondavalasa was okay. Others didn’t have much scope to perform.

There is a general belief among the audience that once a director churns out a hit or two he is considered to be having full material.
But over the years, we have seen many directors flashing like a comet and disappearing. At one point, many expected Teja to change the face of Tollywood but after flying high for a while he has crash landed. And his recent efforts are a mirror to his work.
The latest to join his list of poor works is this film. What he needs to realize is the awareness and intellect of the audience has enhanced from ‘Chitram’ days and what he thinks is comedy is actually an immature act of childish humour.
Of course, he showed few sparks of brilliance by giving interesting captions on the poster, during the interval but if he had shown the same focus on the script and screenplay, the result would have been much better. The film takes off on a flashback mode but there are many times one doesn’t really find the sync or the required emotion. The interval bang was alright and the second half was having few ups and downs.
Overall, there has been a good level of fluctuation where some scenes looked good and some were bad. The Teja mark is clearly missing and maybe it is time for him to come out of his ego trip and work on his subject with conviction.

New avatar of A.R.Rahman
A.R.Rahman brought home two Oscar and become the first Indian to grab Oscar in his hand making every Indian proud. Till now we have seen A.R.Rahman as music director, singer and now he is trying to experiment as a producer for 70 mm silver screen movies, said sources. A.R.Rahman is jointly producing his yet to tilted film along with Eros international.
There were strong rumor in past that Rahman is planning to make his debut as director but now and it’s clear that he is producing the movie. Sources say Rahman is going to present a beautiful musical love story to movie buffs, which will be a bilingual project.
Cast and crew details of Rahman movie will be announced very soon. Mostly makers are planning to have a fresh pair and a talent debutant director to lead the movie. Shooting of the movie will start from next year and probably it will release next year using the holiday season of everyone.
Chiranjeevi pushing sexy Kannada actress?
Chiranjeevi has quit the film industry and is concentrating totally on politics. Pawan Kalyan who is a producer friendly hero said to BVSN Prasad to make a final call about release date, this answered Power Star cannot do anything in AD release.
Coming to second question of Pawan fans, he is right now in Bangalore working with Sampath Nandi on script work of Bengal Tiger. Sources say Pawan is out of AD mood and concentrating on Bengal Tiger only.
Big Hero Getting Ready For Hunger Strike
It is quite unfortunate that a big hero like ‘Ilayathalapathy’ Vijay is facing hurdles for the release of his latest movie ‘Thalaiva’. He is facing the iron hand of Tamilnadu government led by Jayalalitha preventing the movie’s release. Earlier Kamal Hassan’s Viswaroopam was also put to torture in the same way by Jaya’s team. Though Thailava made it to theatres worldwide, and its Telugu version ‘Anna’ running all over Andhra Pradesh, the movie failed to release in Tamilnadu state where Vijay happens to be the super star.
Like Pawan Kalyan is for Tollywood, Vijay is for Kollywood, and still he is unable to move government with his repeated emotional requests. To melt the tyrannous Jaya government anyway, Vijay and his film crew are now planning to sit on a hunger strike. No doubt, this is the first time a hero and his team are protesting, for a release of their movie.
The other day Vijay has publicly condemned the act of government with an emotional heart, and still ‘Thalaiva’ is not authorized by Jaya government for release. The reason is simple, the film is education audiences about the real service these political parties are doing, and it touched Jaya at right spot.

‘Pawan Kalyan isn’t a Great Actor’
Naga Babu is one of the very few persons who are close to Pawan Kalyan and the Mega Producer takes the question posed to him in a recent TV show as an opportunity to reveal the real personality of his small-brother.
To a question on what was Kalyan like, Nagababu replied, “Kalyan is very human, straight-forward and honest person. He doesn’t focus on unnecessary issues, but goes to any extent if he takes up any thing. If you observe him closely, you get the doubt – Could anyone lead such a life? The help he offered to anyone wouldn’t see light. He is fearless and good at heart. I will tell you an example: An elderly gentleman has said to me that Kalyan gave scope for other heroes in Industry to surpass him by slowing down at the time of Johnny. I didn’t understand what he actually meant and later asked Kalyan what’s his reaction on that version. Then, Kalyan said: ‘Such a thinking comes from insecurity feeling. That’s just an illusion and I have no fear about such matters. In this Universe, everyone has got their own opportunities to prove themselves. If more heroes prove successful, it would only benefit the Industry.’ I didn’t understand what he meant then, but Today it have proven right.”
“Even our family members wonder why so much craze for only Kalyan. Telugu Industry have seen some of the greatest actors. In my opinion, Kalyan is neither a great actor or dancer, but a reasonable good actor and just manages to shake his leg. People love him because of his character and ideologies,” he added.
Case booked against Director
A case was booked against Tollywood Producer Veeru Potla for allegedly cheating the producer of Mike Testing 123 telugu film.
Based on the complaint lodged by the yet to release film Producer Jani, the Banjara Hills registered a case against Veeru. Jani alleged that did not give him the movie rights as promised. Further details are awaited.
Varun’s heroine dating Married hero?
The latest buzz doing rounds in tinsel town is that struggling and budding actress Komal Jha is seeing veteran actor Madhavan. Although it sounds biggest joke for many in industry as many even don’t know who the Komal Jha is. For all, she has acted a small role ini Chinna Cinema and a second fiddle role in Varun Sandesh’s Priyatama Nee Vachata Kusalama.
The buzz is that Komal is hanging around with Madhavan and even went to coffee shops and often spending some time with the married hero. Although Madhavan is a family guy and married, he is still considered as a chocolate boy and has a superb fan following among girls.
But a few who have came to know Komal’s version has shocked with her clarification. Komal says, “Madhavan is a good friend of mine. I first met him during the shooting of 3 Idiots in IIM campus when I was studying my engineering. Yes we did hangout in coffee shops at Dubai airport. Can’t two good friends chat if they happen to meet accidentally at airport or hotel?”
One is laughing at her comments. She was earlier in the news for alleging Varun Sandesh that he ‘flirted’ with her. And now Madhavan. It looks much like a stunt to eye media attention. It’s better for her to concentrate on acting career rather than trying for cheap publicity. Not even, Komal did a Tamil film to have a connection. Story:
Adda opens with stylish entry by Abhi [Sushanth] a youngster specialized in creating rifts between lovers to raise money. Shanvi [Priya] approaches Abhi seeking a help for her sisters’s love marriage with Avasarala Rambabu. Meanwhile, duo starts liking each-other and a predictable twist is here. Actual story starts when Abhi writes a love letter to Priya and she gets impressed. How will Abhi manage to win Priya’s heart is climax of Adda.
Performance:
Sushanth has touched fox’s tail for tremendous openings that happened due to postponement of Attarintiki Daredi. While the actor’s expressions were ok, his dance knowledge helped him to go well with songs and the dialogue delivery needs an expression change with each.
Shanvi has given her best, as Priya she is a glam doll and feast to watch on screen.
Rest of the cast, Raghubabu, Jayaprakash Reddy, Dhanraj, Venu and Thagubothu Ramesh has done their parts well.
Shwetha Bharadwaj is hot in the item number and Special appearances by Nagarjuna and ANR in ‘Endukey’ song are appealing.
Technical Analysis:
Sai Karthik’s debut may not go well with all centers of audiences, as the script is not quite enthralling and slow paced narration. Somehow, his screenplay gelled with audiences specially teenagers.
Anoop Rubens musicals have helped the movie. Even though the choreography elevated the audio, few tracks were wasted
Arun Kumar’s cinematography is ok. Editing could have been done better, as the climax and pre-climax appears to be exhausted.
Analysis:
Sushanth’s Adda is a drag for simple script with predictable twists. Debutant director Sai Karthik is potent that he made audiences to sit with his screenplay and comedy bits here and there. While the movie is not so gripping, climax and pre-climax scenes doomed.
Anoop Rubens scores are appealing but were placed untimely and few wasted. Sushanth is watchable with trendy look and Shanvi is an asset for Adda. First half is quite entertaining compared to the second because of one-liners and comic scenes.
Totally, crispy one-liners, dance and few songs are the highlights of Adda.
Final Verdict:
Watch Adda for one-liners, cheerful first half with good work by Anoop Rubens, if you are free this weekend…
Stop T and appoint second SRC
Seemandhra central ministers met at the residence of the union minister Chiranjeevi here on Thursday and discussed about the stand they should adopt when they appear before the Antony Committee later this evening.
It is learnt that the union ministers decided to ask the government to stop state bifurcation and appoint a second States’ Reorganization Commission to decide the matter. It is learnt that the ministers expressed the view that the Congress party’s promise was only to appoint the Second SRC and not straight away conceding the Telangana state.
Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, Panabaka Lakshmi, Purandeswari and others were present at the meeting.
