Mahesh’s ‘Bava’ with different treat this time

Prince Mahesh Babu and his mania at the box office needs no introduction. Right now, another member from his family is doing his best to grow in the circuit. He is Sudheer Babu, brother- in-law of Mahesh who recently made his debut with the film ‘SMS’. Though the film didn’t work much, Sudheer got few decent marks for his dance and fights.

Now, it is heard that he is all set to take off with another movie and this one is slated to be a total action entertainer. This is going to be directed by Vamsi Krishna Akella who made the horror flick ‘Raksha’. Buzz is that a noted producer is helming this project and Sudheer from his end wants to give his hundred percent.

Since it is just the starting stage and there is a long way for Sudheer to go, the cine folks are waiting to see whether he can reach atleast half of his ‘Bava’s success and graphs. While he looks confident, the coming years will give a clear picture on how fate will shape up his career.

Pawan Kalyan set to create another sensation

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is on a roll these days. After signing up ‘Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu’ under Puri Jagan’s direction, Pawan has taken up yet another sensational project. Pawan signed on the dotted line for BVSN Prasad’s next production, which would be directed by none other than Trivikram Srinivas.

Needless to say that Trivikram is the only director who delivered a hit with Pawan Kalyan post Kushi. Trivikram is known for writing scripts according to the image and body language of the heroes. He is currently doing a film with Allu Arjun, which would release in June/July. Pawan’s film will start rolling from October, after he is done with CGR.

Trivikram, who gave a completely new look to Mahesh Babu in Khaleja, which has introduced the comic angle of the superstar, is all set to present Power Star in an all new avatar in this film. Pawan Kalyan is reportedly impressed with the script and hero characterization. Adding spice to the already sensational combination, Jalsa heroine Ileana is roped into play the female lead in this movie. Can we call this Jalsa 2 kya!

Gabbar Singh introduction fight in Gujarat

The talkie part shooting of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie ‘Gabbar Singh’ is nearing completion. The introduction fight of the movie will be shot from 23rd of this month in Gujarat. The fight is said to be one of the highlights in the movie and will be choreographed by Ram – Lakshman brothers. With this fight, the movie shooting will be complete except for 2 songs which will be shot in Foreign. The audio release of the movie will take place on April 7th and movie will hit screens in May.

Gabbar Singh has Shruti Haasan in the lead role opposite Pawan Kalyan. ‘Mirapakaay’ Harish Shankar is the director of this movie and Ganesh Babu is the producer. Music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad

Mohan Babu to contest in Tirupati?

A Bi election became inevitable for Tirupati constituency due to election of Chiranjeevi to Rajya Sabha. Inside reports suggest that Telugu Desam Party is trying to field Collection King Mohan Babu from here in bielection. Recently, Chandra Babu Naidu attended the birthday celebrations of Mohan Babu and had 2 hours of private conversation with the actor. The actor reportedly is still undecided about taking a decision as his son Vishnu married a girl from YSR party.With his tremedous diction and filmy image, Telugu Desam Party feels it will be an asset to them if Mohan Babu agrees to contest.

On the other side, YSR Congress Party had given the Tirupati seat to B.Karunakar Reddy.

Such is the importance of dance. Rana, the scion of Daggubati family made his debut with Leader. He played the role of a politician in the movie in which there is no scope for dance. His second movie, Nenu Na Rakshasi is also the story of sad lover in which Rana did not offer much in terms of dance.These two movies had brought an impression on audience that Rana is not a good dancer.

Our readers are aware that Ram Charan was injured on the sets of Racha dancing for a mass number. He was advised rest for 3-4 weeks and is on the road to recovery. On the other side, as their marriage date (June 13th) is nearing, Ram Charan’s fiancee Upasana Kamineni is on a shopping spree. She recently made an appearance at and purchased a lot of bridal collections. When asked about her favourite colour, she cleverly replied that she likes every thing Charan likes.

Prince Mahesh Babu’s new thums up ad has hit small screens recently. It is a known thing that Mahesh Babu made his fans feel proud by working as nation wide brand ambassador for this soft drink. However, he received many criticisms among the public as he could not give his own voice for the ad. Only dubbing voice is being heard currently in the ad which did not suir Mahesh Babu’s image.

Having understood the negative feedback everywhere, ad makers are said to have decided to record Mahesh’s own voice in fresh. It is due to Mahesh’s tight schedules of doing movies, he could not spend time to dub his own voice for the ad and that is why the Telugu version of thums up ad has not been released. As per reliable sources, it is learnt that new thums up ads in Telugu and Hindi will be out shortly (probably withing one week) with Mahesh’s own voice. Let us wait for those ads.

Earlier Kajal faced the ire of many producers and directors down south for commenting that Bollywood is her top priority. Off late, the sexy girl is rejecting offers from Hindi circuit giving preference to South films. One Bad Movie Puts Mahesh In Backseat!?

One easily says that Mahesh Babu is the undoubted number one of Telugu industry with no competitors in the reach. But, is his position such solid that no jerk can destabilize it is the question!

‘Stardom’ is something you achieve in years and grab the crown such that a couple of flops will not pull away the ‘aura’ from you. But, Mahesh is the top-hero all of a sudden, thanks to Dookudu and Businessman. Without any thought, one can easily say Superstar Rajnikanth, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachan are such ’emperors’ of their respective film circuits.

But, can we put Mahesh in the same place where they ruled for years. Analysts say a strong ‘No’. If two bad-films like ‘Athidi’ and ‘Khaleja’ fall in his path, no doubt he has to take a back seat as he is frontrunner only because of two flicks, they say. Else, if Jr.NTR or Ramcharan scores some back to back whopping commercial hits, then the throne will be gone. Looks like Mahesh should give a series of hits to prove that he is really worth calling a ‘No.1 Tollywood Hero’ irrespective of his brand endorsements and opinion-poll wins. What is your say folks?

Why No Sound About ‘Vennela 1.5’?

A couple of months back, director turned comedian Vennela Kishore created much hype with those raunchy songs and wild posters of his debut directorial venture. All of a sudden, there is no sound about this movie!

The norm in film industry generally is to release a movie within 30 days from the date of audio release. However, Vennela 1.5’s audio was release a couple of months back but still there is no news of it. Insiders revealed that the post-production work is still going on to make the film available by summer. While some say they start promotion once the first copy is in hand, few others mention that the makers need seriousness in wrapping up the project.

Much buzz was generated for this movie for its raunchy songs and erotic posters a month back, but everything is getting cooled down now. Only the film’s release will decide if our comedian Vennela Kishore tickles audience or viewers will make fun of his product!

Heavy Cut Down In ‘Damarukam’ Budget

Touted to be a hair rising Visual Effects treat, this movie is heard from years but still not making any noise. ‘Damarakum’, the socio-fantasy movie that has Nagarjuna in the lead is undergoing a bad-phase, say insiders.

The budget of the film is expected to touch around 40 crore mark, the biggest in Nag’s career. Before ‘Businessman’ and ‘Poola Rangadu’, work on this movie was slowed down with producer RR Makers not finding enough money to wrap it up. The makers were expected to finish this project on a brisk pace when they incurred huge profits with ‘Businessman’.

However all those profit-tables are limited to paper ads, but the gains are never used to push ‘Damarukam’ fast. The makers are not shedding huge money for VFX as the content hasn’t come out pretty well, say insiders. Srinivas Reddy who is the king of b-c centre comedy movies is directing this flick, while Anushka scorches the screen once again with Nag. Let us see how the movie comes out finally!

Rajamouli’s threat to Charan and NTR

There is a major shuffling going on between the release dates of summer biggies. Postponement of Racha is creating problems for the other releases and there would be adjustments done by the makers of those films. The competition is primarily between Racha and Dammu which will be released in April. Gabbar Singh will release in May, so there won’t be direct impact of it on these films.

However, Racha and Dammu are going to face the music of Rajamouli. Eega is expected to release in April. The date is not yet fixed as the post production work is taking more time than anticipated. But it would release sometime in April irrespective of the competition. Which means Eega is going to eat into the business of Racha and Dammu.

Rajamouli was the person who gave biggest hits to NTR and Charan in their respective careers. But this time he would be locking horns with the stars that he had made. Let’s see how would they respond and withstand against the master filmmaker, who is known as the best doctor to read the pulse of masses.

Jr NTR puts Trisha in trouble

Senior actress Trisha is currently doing Dammu movie with NTR, for which she has been on a strict diet to look young and compatible opposite the young star. Trisha has slimmed down a lot as she has been working out rigorously besides doing power yoga and all. This has taken a heavy toll on her and her health was badly affected due to it.

Trisha has collapsed on the sets recently after consuming lots of energy to match the speed and grace of NTR in a mass song. Doctors advised her to take good rest as she is not a perfect condition to carry on with the shoot. Hence, the actress has taken one weekâ€™s leave from work and is right now resting at home.

Trisha says that she is getting back to normal and will be fit and fine within no time. She promises to come up with energetic dance moves in Dammu songs. As every other actress Trisha too is awe of Tarak’s dancing abilities. She says that his energy and power are unmatchable.

Young Tiger NTR’s latest movie ‘Dhammu’ under the direction of Boyapati Srinu is one of the most awaited movies in the summer. The shooting of the movie is nearing completion. The shooting is complete except one song. The song will be a dancing number which will be shot on NTR and Trisha from 26th of this month. Huge set is being erected for this purpose. The audio release event of the movie will take place 29th of this month.29th April is the tentative date of movie release.

Damarukham, Prabhas’s ‘Vaaradhi’ and Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Autonagar Surya’ are going to compete at the box office.All these movies are made with very high budgets and are expected to be very crucial for industry which is reeling under the pressure of heavy flops. If the producers of these movies fail to maintain 1-2 weeks between the releases, there will be very huge loss in the openings.

On personal front, Mohan Babu stopped promoting his kids, if sources are to be believed. Even for his younger son Manoj’s latest flick Mr.Nookayya, the self-styled actor tweeted a couple of good things but hasn’t come before cameras to promote it.
