‘Zanjeer’ as ‘RUSTHUM’

Please don’t get confused. They are more or less the same! As you know pretty well, ‘Zanjeer’ is the upcoming bilingual film of Ram Charan, a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1973 super hit ‘Zanjeer’, directed by produced by Apoorva Lakhia featuring Priyanka Chopra. This film is pacing up its production and is heading for a release in the second half of the year..

And now, the makers are planning for a simultaneous release [both in Hindi and Telugu] of this bilingual film. They are looking to go with the same name in Hindi but in Telugu, they are keen upon going with the name ‘RUSTHUM’, yet another hit film of his dad Chiranjeevi [a 1984 release] though titles like ‘Merupu’ were also considered earlier. Looks like his dad Chiru is the lucky mascot for Cherry and fans also don’t seem to miss Chiru because of Cherry!

Pawan Kalyan’s next titled ‘KO…BALI [NARUKU…BALI]’?

Of course, this sounds a bit off-beat…come on it’s a Pawan Kalyan film, so it is pretty much obvious. But, the above title isn’t confirmed for any of his film yet but it has been registered very recently by Pawan Kalyan Creative Works Pvt. Ltd.

According to our Filmnagar birdies. Pawan Kalyan Creative Works is Kalyan’s own production house active from ‘Johnny’ times and if everything went well, his recent blockbuster ‘Gabbar Singh’ should have been his own production but the opportunity was grabbed by Bandla Ganesh. Now, this title registration has again brought this production house of his into light and the buzzing has started. Hope and wish Pawan Kalyan makes a public statement about this very soon.

Nani’s ‘11th INCARNATION’!

On a generic note, Lord Vishnu [a Hindu deity] is known for his ten divine incarnations to guide mankind in the classic Hindu Mythology. But director Krishna Vamsi and hero Nani are known for the 11th incarnation. Puzzled?

Ok…Krishna Vamsi and Nani are busy wrapping up their film ‘PAISA’ which is captioned ‘11th incarnation’ and on the eve of Nani’s birthday on this 24th Feb, the first look of the film is planned to be released. The film looks promising with a top-notch director like Krishna Vamsi and an A-class actor like Nani romancing a fresh talented face like Catherine Tresa. Let’s hope this ‘11th incarnation’ does the magic for the entire ‘Paisa’ team.

Hyderabad Blast and Bandh !

It is very saddening that terrorists could explode bombs in Hyderabad very easily killing 16 innocent bystanders and injuring a hundred people, some seriously, though Central Government claims to have alerted the State about the possible strike.

While people are trying to reconcile to the disaster, the BJP has called for a State wide bandh. The City and State have just come out of a 2-day Bandh and calling for another bandh on the third day is indeed irrational. Whom does the bandh help? Since almost everybody appears to have ignored the bandh-call, the call benefits nobody. I wish that bandh callers do not devalue it. A successful bandh will cause untold misery to the daily wage earners

TTD turns Lord to Business Man !

Strange are the ways of TTD which is the authority managing the world’s largest earning shrine Tirumala, Lord Balaji. Instead of providing better facilities and amenation to pilgrims, the authorities and board members are out currying favors to the influential few for their personal benefits. Even though many scams are unearthed, nothing happened.

According to latest information TTD officials are turning Lord to Business Man and brand ambassador. Sources say Business Tycoon Prithvi Raj who is an ardent devotee of Lord,had a dream in which Lord wished to see his photo in a watch. The very next moment he flew to Switzerland and convinced Century management to come with watches having Lord Balaji’s photos.

TTD EO Subramaniam responding to people worries on TTD giving green signal to century watches, said that Lord doesn’t require any trade mark and any devotee can use Lord’s photos. He even questioned if one goes on opposing all moves then development can not happen.

Whenever any bomb blast happens Govt officials and top politicians come out in open and in their media briefings sing the same tune that the country will not tolerate terrorism and they will be taught a fitting lesson. To the top of it they say country will not be cowed down by terrorists’ ‘Cowardly’ act. When people hear such statements they can not but laugh at the lack of knowledge of the politicians.

Many wonder how come terrorists succeeding in blasting bombs at regular intensity every now and then can be called cowards? Many feel they are not cowards as they are ready to die for the cause they believe whether good or bad. The moment they get orders without any second thoughts they become suicide bombers to carry out blasts.

People are furious and they are saying that it is not terrorists who are cowards but it is our own leaders and Govt who are cowards since they lack the will to act decisively against terror groups for the fear of losing votes.

Earlier Hyderabad attained popularity across the world for becoming destination for Information Technology. But many feel now it is becoming destination for terrorists and terror attacks and many are of the opinion that the city is breeding terror.

The city suffered from deadly blasts at Dilsukhnagar yesterday and even earlier it experienced blasts at various places. During that time Govt acts and arrests terror suspects. But later due to pressure from various sources they are let off. Some times police even though they have prior information, will not act for the fear of antogonising their political bosses thus compromising on security.

This in a way is helping terrorists to carry out their wicked designs with utmost freedom. Many countries even issued advisories to their citizens to stay away from the city as they felt that it is breeding terror, turing safe haven for terrorists. This is blot on city’s reputation.

Dubbed TV serials face the heat

On Thursday, AP’s television industry came to a grinding halt. Producers, actors and technicians from the industry formed a Joint Action Committee to protest against dubbed serials, which they claim has cost them nearly `200 crore. They are pushing for a ban of all dubbed serials from Ugadi, this year.

Nearly 12,500 technicians, 1,500 actors and 250 producers are dependent on AP’s television industry. And as all local TV channels have started tying up with Hindi channels and are importing content from them, the television industry is losing nearly `200 crores,” and people are losing their jobs. Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao attended the event and had offered his helping hand to the movement.

It seems like Priyamani is eying a big career in Bollywood after she bagged a special song with Bollywood Shahrukh Khan for his film Chennai Express says it was a pleasure working with the superstar. She is heaping praises on the King Khan.

“It is an honor to be working with him. Shahrukh Khan is such a humble person. He is also very friendly and made me feel very comfortable on the sets,” says an elated Priyamani, who wasn’t willing to share more details about the song. Meanwhile, the actress is also busy with her South projects — a period film, Angulika, opposite Deepak and Samudra’s Chandee.

Looks like Mahesh Babu is dead serious on completing his next project on time. Hios next under the direction of Sukumar is currently being shot in the outskirts of Hyderabad. Few crucial scenes in the movie are being shot there on the principal cast of the movie. The movie unit are planning to go on a 45 day Europe schedule shortly. The movie is planned for release on August 9th and the movie unit is keeping their heads down and is working day and night to meet the deadlines. The first look of the movie will be releasing on March 31st on the occasion of Super Star Krishna’s Birthday.

Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam Krishna is reportedly making his filmy debut as child artist in the movie. A new comer Kriti Sanon is pairing up with Mahesh in this movie. Anil Sunkara, Gopichand and Ram Achanta are producing the film under 14 Reels Entertainments banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Rathnavelu is cranking the camera.

Paisa title song canned !

Creative director Krishna Vamsi’s new film titled Paisa with young heartthrob Nani as the protagonist had completed the canning of the title song of the movie. The song has reportedly been shot in a pub and several foreign models took part in the shoot. “Wrapped up PAISA title song shoot and coming back to India .. Can’t wait 🙂 ” Nani tweeted soon after wrapping up the shoot. The makers of the movie are planning to release the logo of the movie on 24h of this month. This is the first movie in the combination of Nani and Krishna Vamsi. The ace director is so determined to deliver a hit as he is reeling under the pressure of flops for quite some time now.

Nani is romancing a Keralite beauty Katherine Theresa, who is making her debuting in Tollywood with Paisa. Ramesh Puppala of Mirapakaya fame is producing the movie under Yellow Flow banner and Santosh Rai is handling the lens.

As every individual in the state, Tollywood celebs are equally shocked with the serial blasts that took place at Dilskhuknagar on Thursday night in Hyderabad. Two blasts were reported near a Konark and Venkatadri theaters at Dilsukh Nagar in the city resulting in heavy casualties.

Tollywood celebs have expressed their deep condolences for the affected families and have asked to stay safe whilst maintaining calm and peace. Perhaps no other director in Tollywood knows better regarding how to create hype for his movie. The excitement is slowly building up even before the movie shooting began. It all started with the bearded look of Prabhas and then sword fight training for Anushka, Rana and Prabhas. And now the news is that he had hired few fighters from Vietnam and trained Rana and Prabhas in some special martial arts. On the other side, Rajamouli is touring Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan to scout location for the movie.

The movie which is reportedly the biggest budget movie ever made in Telugu, will go on to sets in April. Anushka will be pairing with Prabhas in this movie for the third time after Billa and Mirchi. This movie will be jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media banner and will be presented by K Raghavendra Rao. Keeravani will be scoring the music.
