Brahmanandham is the key instrument in the success of Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu but the fans of the actor have missed the ace comedian in his latest movie, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. But very less people may actually know that the movie in fact had Brahmi in few scenes but they are to be trimmed due to length issues. And now the makers are planning to add the scenes once again in to the movie from February 14th. They hope adding these scenes will give the movie a push at the box office.

Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu had done tremendously well in Sankranthi season. Thanks to the patronage of family audience. The movie is expected to garner 45-50 Crore share in its full run making Mahesh the only actor to have two 50 Crore share movies.

The shooting of Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming movie, Baadshah is progressing at brisk pace. The movie had completed canning the climax sequence of the movie. The movie unit had been shooting for this in Nagarjuna Sagar and the surroundings of Hyderabad for the past one week. Director Srinu Vaitla is extremely happy about the output. The movie unit will finish some patch work today and will begin a song shoot from tomorrow in Annapurna 7 acres.

The makers are planning to release the movie in April. Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead in the movie while Navdeep and Kelly Dorjee will be seen in negative roles in this action entertainer.  Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat are writing the script along with Sreenu Vaitla. Thaman is composing the music.

Lakshmi Prasanna was on cloud nine since she was selected for a role in Mani Ratnam’s Kadali. The vivacious actress had been going gaga over the movie for the last one year in every movie event she attended. But looks like the actress didn’t exactly have a dream debut, so to speak off. The actress was going ga ga over the song ‘Gunjukunna’ which was apparently picturised on her but was not included in the movie. The actress was admittedly surprised herself but she seemed to have taken it in her stride graciously.

“I am shocked as u r that #nenjukulle has been deleted. By I’m sure mani sir had his reasons. Still grateful to have been a part of his movie. Sorry to have disappointed u guys. Bigger and better next time :),” wrote Lakshmi Manchu on her microblogging site.

Ishq fame Vikram Kumar is busy preparing a script which will have all the three generation heroes of Akkineni family – ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in which they are playing Grand father, son and grand son roles. This is a prestigious project for the entire Akkineni family and they are leaving no stone unturned to make the movie big. Initially, there were news that the movie is titled ‘Trayam’ but it was ruled out.

And later ‘Ham’ was considered as the title and was also registered with the AP Film Chamber of Commerce. The movie will go on to sets early next year. But now the makers seem to have changed their mind. They are planning to title the movie as ‘Manam’. Akkineni heroes are not hurry to take the movie on to sets as it is a prestigious project for the family. The director Vikram Kumar is seriously working on every detail of the script. The movie will be produced by Annapurna studios and Reliance Entertainments jointly.

 

Collection King Mohan Babu’s daughter Lakshmi Prasanna is known for doing less and talking more. For the past one year, she had been raving about her role in the ace film maker Mani Ratnam’s Kadal where ever she go. But things turned topsy turvy when audience got to see the movie. Lakshmi has a very little role in the movie which is of very little length. She plays the role of a prostitute and will  appear only for a brief moment on screen.

Kadal is directed and produced by Mani Ratnam. The film features debutant Gautham Karthik, son of actor Karthik and debutant Thulasi Nair, daughter of Radha in the lead roles and will also be dubbed and released simultaneously in Telugu as Kadali. AR Rahman is composing the music.

The movie is about SRK’s journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram. Priyamani reportedly is elated with the offer but is yet to sign the dotted line.

Chennai Express is being directed by Rohit Shetty. Dimple beauty Deepika Padukone is pairing up with King Khan in this movie. The movie is being produced by Gauri Khan (Wife of Shah Rukh Khan) under her Red Chillies Entertainment banner.

 

Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming film ‘Baadshah’ has been in news from quite some time with the various updates of the movie. Now as per the new gossips in Tinsel town, it is heard that Baadshah’s budget has crossed 55 crores. It is known public that Srinu vaitla is directing this big budget movie after his block buster ‘Dookudu’. Recently the climax scenes were shot with enormous sets and action sequences near Nagarjuna sagar which consumed the major part of the film budget.

But the film analysts and critics came up with the question that “Will such a big budgeted movie, make profitable business?” But to everyone’s surprise, in Guntur district alone the movie has sold for 4 crores. Even the overseas rights of the movie were sold for peppy amounts evidencing the stamina of NTR once again.

But a movie with budget exceeding 55 crores is always in a danger zone. Any negative talk on the movie after its release will leave the producer Bandla Ganesh in unrecoverable loses.

Forbes magazine has published the annual income of Super star Mahesh as 42 crores per annum who is at pinnacle of success with hat trick hit films. The magazine published Mahesh in rank of 31 in the list and a rank of 15 in the money list and rank of 79 in the fame list.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan with a block buster and an average grosser last year has occupied the second position from Tollywood with annual income of 26 crores and stood at the position of 53. Money rank as 24 and fame rank as 85. King Nag stood at 56th rank with the revenue of 11 crores per annum and with money rank as 50 and fame rank as 55. Young tiger NTR with 19 crores and 66th rank. 31st and 91st as the money and fame ranks. RaviTeja is the fifth hero with 15 crores revenue at 50th position and with money rank as 38 and fame rank as 56.
