Yesterday, Netflix announced its ‘Netflix Pandaga,’ revealing the slate of upcoming titles set for release on the platform. As in the previous year, Telugu films dominate the list, highlighting the platform’s focus on regional content.
According to the announcement, Mythri Movie Makers has sold four of its upcoming releases to Netflix, while Sithara Entertainments and Haarika & Hassinee Creations have sold three films collectively. The confirmed titles include Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Peddi, The Paradise, Adarsha Kutumbam AK47, Aakasham Lo Oka Taara, VD14, Funky, Biker, Raakasa, Sithata Prod #37, 418, and Don’t Trouble the Trouble. Netflix is expected to continue adding more films to this lineup in the coming days.
With Netflix guaranteeing high-quality releases directly to viewers’ homes, fans can look forward to timely streaming of these films. The launch of Netflix’s Hyderabad office is also likely to strengthen its presence in the Telugu entertainment space, making regional films more accessible and boosting the platform’s reach.
Revanth Reddy: Delhi Visits for Telangana’s Development

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has been making frequent trips to Delhi recently, prompting criticism from opposition BRS leaders, who allege he is “bowing to the Delhi bosses.”
Responding indirectly to these claims, Revanth Reddy stated last evening, “I meet Prime Minister Modi once every three months and other cabinet ministers regularly to secure funds for Telangana. I maintain good relations with the central leadership for the state’s benefit. Opposition leaders should focus on presenting their issues with the government instead of making political controversies.”
Revanth emphasized that maintaining cordial relations with the center is essential to secure funds and sanctions, signaling that the state’s development takes precedence over political ego or personal interests.
Pradeep Ranganathan’s Futuristic Sci-Fi Thriller with Meenakshi Chaudhary & Sree Leela

After delivering back-to-back blockbusters with Dragon and Dude in 2025, Kollywood’s versatile artist Pradeep Ranganathan has firmly established himself as one of the most bankable stars in South Indian cinema. Riding high on this success, he is now gearing up for his upcoming film, Love Insurance Kompany.
Adding to the excitement, his next venture has already begun generating buzz in industry circles. The untitled project is set to be an ambitious futuristic science fiction thriller, with Pradeep not only playing the lead role but also returning to the director’s seat for this big-budget film. The project is expected to go on floors soon this year.
Interestingly, Tollywood beauties Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sree Leela are set to share the screen with Pradeep Ranganathan. The duo previously worked together in Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and have made notable impressions in Kollywood with their debut appearances. Meenakshi Chaudhary appeared in Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT, while Sree Leela was seen in Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi. Although neither film was a box-office hit, both actresses drew attention for their glamorous screen presence and performance.
With Pradeep Ranganathan already enjoying a strong following among Telugu and Tamil audiences thanks to his youthful entertainers, this collaboration presents an opportunity for Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sree Leela to further cement their place in Kollywood.

Chiranjeevi’s Film Dominates Box Office Despite Competition

Chiranjeevi once again proves that age is no barrier to superstardom, as his latest release continues its impressive box-office run despite facing strong competition from The Raja Saab. Even at 70, the Megastar’s mass appeal remains firmly intact.
According to the latest update from Sacnilk, the action-comedy earned a solid ₹18.5 crore net on Day 5 alone—nearly six times higher than the Day 5 collections of Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab. The strong weekday performance highlights the film’s exceptional hold, clearly indicating that it has successfully sustained the momentum generated during the Sankranthi release window. With this, the total domestic net collection has now reached ₹120.35 crore.
Overseas, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu continues to perform steadily as well. The film collected $95,000 in North America on Thursday, pushing its total earnings in the region to $2.18 million.
Trade circles remain optimistic as the film heads into its first weekend, with projections suggesting it could eventually surpass The Raja Saab in overall box-office collections.
In the film, Chiranjeevi portrays a former national security operative who falls in love with Nayanthara and chooses a peaceful life as a devoted family man. The narrative is further elevated by an extended cameo from Daggubati Venkatesh.
The film is produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the banners of Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments. It is directed by Anil Ravipudi, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
After Raja Saab Setback, Prabhas Locks Spirit Release Date

The underwhelming performance of The Raja Saab has come as a setback for Prabhas and his massive fan base. Expectations were sky-high, with many anticipating that the star would register a hat-trick of pan-Indian blockbusters following the extraordinary success of Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD, which together amassed nearly ₹1,800 crore worldwide. However, The Raja Saab is expected to conclude its theatrical run below the ₹200 crore mark, making it a significant commercial disappointment.
Prabhas appears to have acknowledged the miscalculation and moved swiftly to reinvigorate fan enthusiasm. He officially announced the release date of his next major project, Spirit, signaling a renewed focus on strong, content-driven cinema. While Fauji is also currently under production, excitement among fans is noticeably higher for Spirit, largely due to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s formidable pan-Indian appeal—widely regarded as second only to SS Rajamouli in the current cinematic landscape.
The actor has now confirmed that Spirit will hit screens on March 5, 2027, locking in the release date well in advance and underlining the project’s scale and ambition.
As for Fauji, sources indicate that director Hanu Raghavapudi is aiming to wrap up filming by March or April this year. The makers are reportedly targeting an Independence Day release, a fitting choice given the film’s backdrop of the Indian freedom struggle and its alternative historical narrative.
Rakul Preet Singh’s Effortless Elegance

Rakul Preet Singh steps into the frame in a red and white dress that effortlessly blends confidence with timeless elegance. The styling is intentionally minimal, allowing her natural charisma to take center stage. A soft neckline and flowing fabric add a subtle allure without overstatement, while her relaxed posture reflects quiet assurance.
Her expressions carry the narrative. A gentle, knowing smile pairs with bright, expressive eyes, radiating warmth and understated wit. There is composure in her presence, balanced by a hint of playfulness she wears with ease. As the light softly highlights her features, it accentuates calm confidence rather than theatrical flair.
The overall mood feels both editorial and intimate, like a fleeting moment thoughtfully captured. In this frame, Rakul embodies elegance with purpose, reaffirming that true style resonates most when simplicity, expression, and self-assurance come together seamlessly on camera.

Naga Vamsi’s Remarks Spark Fresh Online Backlash
Producer Naga Vamsi has been facing sustained trolling on social media following the underwhelming performance of films such as War 2 and Mass Jathara. A significant portion of the criticism has been directed at the lofty claims he made ahead of War 2, which he distributed in the Telugu states, along with his pre-release statements for Mass Jathara. Adding to the pressure, Kingdom, released last year, also failed to make an impact at the box office. With three consecutive disappointments, Naga Vamsi has remained a frequent subject of online backlash.
Much like certain media personalities, Naga Vamsi has often attracted attention through controversial or ill-considered remarks during press interactions. Several of his statements and videos have gone viral for the wrong reasons, further amplifying criticism.
Following these setbacks, many expected the producer to adopt a more restrained approach—focusing on stronger content choices and handling the success of Anaganaga Oka Raju with greater humility. However, recent developments suggest otherwise. At a press meet held recently, Naga Vamsi once again indulged in hyperbolic remarks and appeared to take indirect digs at fans and online trolls.
Without naming anyone explicitly, he commented that certain fan groups had been “doing duty” by trolling him over the past 72 hours and hinted at a forthcoming “return gift” to be announced soon.
“For the past 72 hours, all our fan boys have been doing duty all over social media. You all know very well whose fan boys they are. I know very well what kind of return gift to give you and on what scale. We will announce all of that soon,” he said.
