Celebrity talk shows have become the latest trend among the Telugu OTT platforms. After ‘Sam Jam’, ‘No 1 Yaari’ and ‘Unstoppable’ which were huge hits, there is another talk show coming our way. Sony Liv is launching this new talk show with Smitha as the host. It is titled ‘Nijam With Smitha’.

The first episode is going to be streamed on 10th February and Megastar Chiranjeevi is the guest in it. The promo of this episode is out now and it is very interesting. The team has already released the promo of Nani, Sai Pallavi and Rana which raised the expectations on this show. In this episode with Megastar, Smitha seems to have asked some interesting questions.

In the promo, she started off with a cheeky question where she asked Megastar about his crush during his college days. Chiru looked in a state of dilemma about whether to answer it or not. She later asked about facing insults in order to reach a particular stage in life.

Answering that, Chiru said that he was being showered with flowers but immediately someone threw eggs at him at Jagityaala. After that, Smitha questioned about the chance of seeing another Varaprasad becoming a Megastar in current times. The answers to all these questions will be coming out on February 10th.

After the 2021 blockbuster hit Master, Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj have teamed up for their second collaboration, which is one of the highly-anticipated upcoming films of the year.

Titled Leo, the action drama film has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. It is known that south siren Trisha Krishnan has been roped in to romance Vijay in #Thalapathy67. The sultry diva also attended the Pooja ceremony along with others actors Arjun Sarja, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Priya Anand.

However, it seems Trisha is no longer a part of the massive project. These speculations began after the diva deleted #Thalapathy67 launch pictures from her social media handles. It is not known what happened between her and team members as no one officially responded to these reports.

#Thalapathy67, which is set in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, also features Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, Mathew Thomas, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Sandy.

Vijay Sethupathi Not Happy Being Called Like That!

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is known for his versatile roles. The National Award winning actor is known for pushing boundaries when it comes to getting into the skin of the characters he plays. Apart from fun films like ‘KRK’, he often does films that showcase his potential. He also doesn’t get confined to an image or a language.

He did ‘Uppena’ and ‘Sye Raa’ in Telugu, ’19(1)(a)’ in Malayalam and a couple of films in Hindi as well. He played the villain role in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s blockbuster film ‘Vikram’ and recently did a special cameo in Sundeep Kishan’s bilingual movie ‘Michael’. He is currently promoting his maiden Hindi web series titled ‘Farzi’. This show created by Raj & DK has Shahid Kapoor and Sethupathi playing the lead roles. Raashi Khanna, Regina Cassandra, Kay Kay Menon and others play crucial roles.

During an interview, he said that he doesn’t like being called a pan-Indian actor. He added, “No sir, I am an actor. I am not comfortable with that pan-India statement. Sometimes that gives pressure also. I am just an actor and no need to put a label under this. So, that’s enough. I want to do every language film. I want to do a Bengali film, a Gujarati film. So if I get the chance, I’ll go and work there.”

He is doing a Hindi film named ‘Merry Christmas’ alongside Katrina Kaif. He is the lead in ‘Viduthalai’ directed by Vetri Maaran. He is also acting in a silent film called ‘Gandhi Talks’. He is portraying a key role in SRK and Atlee’s huge project ‘Jawan’.

Can Koratala Siva Cope With The Massive Pressure?

Star director Koratala Siva is under huge pressure right now. He scored his first flop in the form of ‘Acharya’ in 2022. Though his previous blockbusters showcase his quality, the level of disaster ‘Acharya’ became stunned many. The money was returned to the distributors and there were a lot of news over Chiru blaming Koratala for the movie’s failure at the box office.

He got a golden chance in the form of #NTR30 but it is Tarak’s immediate film after ‘RRR’ and there is added pressure on the ‘Srimanthudu’ director now. Also, he needs to prove himself and showcase that ‘Acharya’ is just a blip in form and that he can deliver super hits. In order to make the script perfect, he spent a lot of time at the writing table.

Despite all the outrage from Tarak fans, he took ample time to ready the script. The shooting is going to begin in March as said by NTR recently. He even announced that the film will be coming out on April 2024. So, he needs to complete the shooting as fast as possible in order to spend ample time on post-production. Reports suggest that this film involves heavy VFX work.

Also, this is NTR’s immediate film after a massive international success like ‘RRR’. The expectations are sky-high on this pan-Indian film. Also, Tarak’s performance in Rajamouli’s film was praised by not just Indian critics but also a lot of Hollywood reporters. There was a lot of talk that he would get nominated for Oscars too. So, presenting NTR in the best way possible is going to be a huge task for the ‘Mirchi’ director. On top of everything, there is Rajamouli sentiment where the hero who works with him scores a disaster immediately. Right from the ‘Baahubali’ director’s first film, this trend has been going on and we need to see if Koratala breaks it or not.

There is enormous pressure on Koratala Siva right now but everyone is hoping that he delivers big time.

Allu Arjun is currently in Visakhapatnam, shooting for his upcoming film Pushpa 2. With the actor having gotten a break between his shooting days, a photoshoot was organized with the actor’s fans in the port city today. Bunny is an actor who enjoys a lot of craze, and naturally, a lot of people turned up to meet with the actor and get a photograph.

Owing to the huge number of people who turned up at the event, the photoshoot was cancelled midway through, with a lot of people not even getting to share the stage and get a photo with the actor. This left Bunny’s fans hugely disappointed, with many crying on the stage itself.

On the other hand, Pushpa 2 is the continuation of the story that was established in Pushpa. The film is directed by Sukumar, and features Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, while Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is the primary antagonist.

I Am Not A Pan-Indian Actor, I Am Just An Actor: Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the best actors in this country and he has acted in a wide variety of roles. He did movies in Tamil and Telugu already and he is currently busy promoting the release of his Hindi web-series titled ‘Farzi’ which is coming out on 10th February. This crime thriller has Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead roles while noted actors like Raashi Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra and others play key roles.

Sethupathi is being called a pan-Indian actor these days because he is getting famous all over the nation but the ’96’ actor made it clear that he does not being called like that. In an interview, he said, “No sir, I am an actor. I am not comfortable with that pan-India statement. Sometimes that gives pressure also. I am just an actor and no need to put a label under this. So, that’s enough. I want to do every language film. I want to do a Bengali film, a Gujarati film. So if I get the chance, I’ll go and work there.”

Even his co-star Raashi Khanna said the same. She stated, “Not at all. I don’t like it. We are all actors first and why divide? I don’t think it comes from us as actors wanting to be called pan India. It’s probably just the people who are sort of putting it out there…None of us like the term. I think it’s more divisional, like why are you diving us? We have already been divided into Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood. Now suddenly it’s the north and the south. On top of that, there’s another category pan India. Why are we categorizing things?”

Not just these two but Dulquer Salman too previously said that he dislikes this term. He said, “The word pan-India really irks me. I just don’t like hearing it. I love that there is so much exchange of talent happening in cinema, it’s great, but we are one country. I don’t think anyone says pan-America. I don’t get it, even though they say it sweetly.”
