I Am Not A Pan-Indian Actor, I Am Just An Actor: Sethupathi
Vijay Sethupathi is one of the best actors in this country and he has acted in a wide variety of roles. He did movies in Tamil and Telugu already and he is currently busy promoting the release of his Hindi web-series titled ‘Farzi’ which is coming out on 10th February. This crime thriller has Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead roles while noted actors like Raashi Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra and others play key roles.
Sethupathi is being called a pan-Indian actor these days because he is getting famous all over the nation but the ’96’ actor made it clear that he does not being called like that. In an interview, he said, “No sir, I am an actor. I am not comfortable with that pan-India statement. Sometimes that gives pressure also. I am just an actor and no need to put a label under this. So, that’s enough. I want to do every language film. I want to do a Bengali film, a Gujarati film. So if I get the chance, I’ll go and work there.”
Even his co-star Raashi Khanna said the same. She stated, “Not at all. I don’t like it. We are all actors first and why divide? I don’t think it comes from us as actors wanting to be called pan India. It’s probably just the people who are sort of putting it out there…None of us like the term. I think it’s more divisional, like why are you diving us? We have already been divided into Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood. Now suddenly it’s the north and the south. On top of that, there’s another category pan India. Why are we categorizing things?”
Not just these two but Dulquer Salman too previously said that he dislikes this term. He said, “The word pan-India really irks me. I just don’t like hearing it. I love that there is so much exchange of talent happening in cinema, it’s great, but we are one country. I don’t think anyone says pan-America. I don’t get it, even though they say it sweetly.”

There is a big difference in the education system between India and western nations. Abroad offers the best education that helps students to learn the subjects and get big exposure to the field. This is the reason why students from other nations prefer big Universities in the west.

Companies in India also prefer candidates who went to foreign nations for education. This might also be a reason for the rise in craze for foreign nations.
The data revealed by the Union Ministry of Education said that around 30 lakh students went abroad for education in the last six years. Between 2017 to 2022 30 lakh people went to foreign nations.
As per the data, 4.54 lakh people went abroad in 2017 followed by 5.17 lakhs(2018),5.86 lakhs(2019), 2.59 lakhs(2020), 4.40 lakhs(2021), and 7.50 lakhs(2022). Students who went to foreign nations in the last six years enrolled themselves in different fields and areas at different Universities.
Though the number of students who went to foreign nations was quite high till 2019, the numbers fell in 2020 and 2021. The Covid Pandemic impact might be the reason behind the dip in students who went abroad decreasing in two years.
The numbers again picked up in 2022. America and other western nations which stopped the Visa process for two years due to Covid resumed the process last year and increased the required facilities to match the demand for Visa applications.
Supreme Court Backs Appointment Of Lawyer As Additional Judge!
Several doubts were raised on the appointment of senior Advocate L. Victoria Gowri as the Additional Judge of the Madras High Court. A few lawyers and activists moved the Supreme Court to challenge her appointment. Talking about the alleged comments he made on minorities, they filed a petition in court.
As a big relief to Victoria Gowri, the bench of the Supreme Court dismissed the petition paving the way for her appointment. Canceling the petition saying that it will not consider the petition without proper reasons, the bench said her appointment is right and allowed her appointment.
What made Victoria Gowri’s nomination as the judge of Madras High Court controversial is the alleged link between Gowri and Bharatiya Janata Party. Earlier she is said to have been a member of a body that is related to the BJP and she represented the Union Government in a few cases.
On top of this, she reportedly made some objectionable comments against the Minorities and said they are moving aggressively and we need to be careful. A judge with such ideology might be a problem, said the lawyers and activists in their petition.
On the other hand, Gowri was sworn in as the Judge while the Supreme Court was hearing the case. The way she was sworn in as the judge even before the verdict was issued raised many eyeballs. Critics and experts are asking why she was allowed to the swearing-in ceremony.

‘VBVK’ Trailer: An Intriguing Story Based On Phone Number Neighbours!
Hero Kiran Abbavaram is a young talent who made a name for himself with entertaining commercial outings is all set to arrive with another captivating movie titled ‘Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha’. The hero’s name is Vishnu and title suggests that it is his story. After an interesting teaser, the makers unveiled the theatrical trailer which is very absorbing.
The movie will be hitting the screens worldwide on 17th February 2023. Kiran Abbavaram plays the lead character Vishnu in this story set in the backdrop of Tirupati temple town. The trailer starts as the continuation of the teaser, the hero has been introduced and the heroine comes up with the idea of phone number neighbors. While she connects with the hero when she changes the last digit of her phone number, she connects with an entertaining character played by Murali Sharma when she changes the last digit once again.
This leads to the hero and heroine getting together but there is a conflict point in the story which is not completely revealed in the trailer. This leads to a lot of drama and it creates a lot of curiosity regarding this movie. The trailer successfully grabbed the attention of the viewer. Kiran Abbavaram look at ease throughout the trailer whether it is comedy or romance or fights. Kashmira makes her mark as the heroine while Murali Sharma definitely makes you laugh.
The stunning background score by Chaitan Bharadwaj and the lavish visuals by Daniel Viswas raise the bar for this romantic comedy. There has been a lot of talk regarding the wedding of Kiara Advani and Bollywood handsome hero Siddharth Malhotra. Both the actors, their families and close friends arrived in Jaisalmer a few days back and the entire marriage function was kept under wraps without much of media’s presence. Sources say that Siddharth and Kiara entered the wedlock officially a few minutes back.

At the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters, Prakash Raj openly bashed the right wingers. He said, “They wanted to ban Pathaan. It’s going 700 crores. These idiots, who wanted to ban Pathaan, did not run Modi’s film for 30 crores. They are just barking, they don’t bite. Don’t worry. Sound pollution!”
Talking about ‘The Kashmir Files’, he stated that it is one of the most nonsensical movies which came out in recent times. He added, “We know who produced it and it is quite shameful. The international jury rejected this film outright and the director is asking about not getting nominated for the Oscars. Realistically, he shouldn’t even get a Bhascker award. There is a very sensitive media out there and if we make movies with propaganda, you cannot foot the audience every time.”

Mega brother Nagababu claims that movie making has become nothing but a business. Responding to a few critics who are bashing the movie production, Nagababu said that everyone is trying to get commercial success through films and it has become the sole reason for movie production lately.
Any comment made by Nagababu is going viral in recent times. He is playing a key role in his brother Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena party. He said that he is doing everything possible to strength the party as a vital member. He claimed in an interview that he is not at all interested in contesting for an MLA position in the upcoming elections. He even made some comments regarding violence and other issues in movies these days.
Responding to people who criticise showcasing of violence, Nagababu said that they should remember the presence of a censor board that looks after every minute detail. He opined that the board members will make sure that there is nothing controversial in the movie before its release. A lot of people are commenting on these statements from Nagababu by saying that movie making is a business and there is no need to look at the values and morals.
