Trivikram & Mahesh Going Against All Odds!

Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas have joined hands once again after 12 years. Their combination has always given wonderful results and #SSMB28 has started with a lot of expectations on it. The first schedule was wrapped up in October and the team filmed an action sequence that will reportedly be not used in the movie.

The new schedule is expected to begin in November but the unexpected demise of superstar Krishna has forced the makers to put their plans on hold. Mahesh had to stay with his family for a while and Trivikram was there by his side during the formalities. The latest we hear is that the super hit duo is planning to restart the movie in December at all costs and release it in April 2023.

While shooting a movie within three months is regular for a few filmmakers, it is definitely not the case with either Mahesh Babu or Trivikram. The star writer-director is known for taking his own time during the production stage. He shoots at a leisurely pace and his track record proves it. The same is the case with Mahesh who often takes regular breaks to go on vacations. Being a big film, a lot of noted actors will be part of it and getting a hold of their call sheets is going to be a mammoth task.

It looks like the shooting needs to be completed by the first week of March which leaves decent time for the post-production team to give the best output. This seems to be a very tough task for both Mahesh and Trivikram. We need to wait and see if they complete this task and release the movie on 28th April or not.

AAP Sees Encouraging Results Ahead Of Gujarat Elections!

In a few days, one of India’s wealthiest states, Gujarat, will go for the general elections. While the Bharatiya Janata Party wants to record another sensational ballot box victory, the ruling party in Delhi Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) wants to spoil BJP’s plans and form the government as it did in Punjab.

Ahead of the Gujarat elections, AAP saw encouraging results as it stood at the second position in the recent Haryana Panchayat poll. The results were out the other day which say that BJP won 22 seats while AAP emerged victorious in over 15 seats.

Winning over 15 seats is a big win for AAP as it contested 100 seats in the Panchayat polls. On the other hand, BJP contested 102 seats and won 22 seats. Despite contesting in fewer seats compared to the ruling party BJP, AAP managed to secure a second position.

Though the Bharatiya Janata Party is in power in Haryana it managed to win just 22 seats while the AAP won 15 seats. Though both parties failed to win the polls, AAP showing its impact in the Panchayat polls is a key takeaway for the party. However, we have to accept the fact that the regions where AAP won are very close to Delhi.

With this energy, AAP might aggressively take on the BJP and bank highly on the Parishad elections saying that the voters in Haryana did not support the BJP.

Looking at the issue from the Bharatiya Janata Party’s point of view the Panchayat Elections is a big letdown as it marks the worst ever performance in the past eight years.

The saffron party came to power in Haryana in 2014 and in the last eight years, it did not register such a dissatisfactory performance in the polls. While losing the majority of seats in the polls is a big shock, the saffron party lost all the seats in the Panchkula region.

BJP lost 10 out of 24 seats in the Sirsa region. This is a wake-up call for the party to focus on various things as Haryana will go for the Assembly polls soon. Ahead of this, the Bharatiya Janata Party lost the polls despite being in power in the state.

Gautham Karthik ties the knot with Manjima Mohan

Kollywood actors Manjima Mohan and Gautham Karthik, who have been in a relationship for three years now, today tied the knot in Chennai. The couple entered wedlock in the presence of their family members and close friends at an intimate wedding ceremony.

In the pictures from the wedding ceremony, the gorgeous diva is seen donning a simple yet elegant saree while Karthik opted for a matching dhoti and shirt.

“Ours is not a great love story. I proposed to Manjima, and she took two days to agree. Now, we have decided to get married. Our families are extremely happy with our decision,” the actor said in a media statement ahead of the wedding.

For the unversed, Manjima and Gautham shared screen space in a movie, titled Devarattam. Since then, they became best friends and their bonding turned into love eventually.

On the movie front, Gautham Karthik will next feature in Pathu Thala and 1947. On the other side, Manjima Mohan is said to be accepting new projects after the wedding break.

Dil Raju Tries To Back His Decision On ‘Varisu’!

Star producer Dil Raju is facing a lot of heat from everyone in recent times. He is in the news a lot and all of them are for the wrong reasons. During the strike, his explanation for continuing the shooting of ‘Varisu’ earned him a very bad image. After that, his upcoming production ‘Varisu’ pulled him into another controversy. He decided to get more theatres for this dubbing film during the Sankranti season while biggies like Megastar’s ‘Waltair Veerayya’ and Balakrishna’s ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ are releasing.

With him getting a lot of criticism, he tried to give an explanation about how things turned out. He said, “I announced that Vijay’s Varisu will release for Sankranthi 2023 long ago. After this, Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya joined the Sankranthi race. Balakrishna’s Veerasimha Reddy was planned for December release but it landed in Sankranthi race because of the delay in the shoot. There are enough number of screens to accommodate all the three films during the holiday season. I am in constant touch with Mythri Naveen and his team about the release planning. They are releasing their films on their own in Nizam. Some of them wanted to make this an issue. Mythri Movie Makers never complained in the Producers Council but some of them in the Council have created the controversyâ€ told Dil Raju.”

He added, “I have leased out 37 screens out of the 420 screens in Nizam. Asian Sunil holds 100 screens and other screens are run by the owners. We have a good hold in the distribution circles and the exhibitors will offer their screens to me on a priority basis. There is no problem between Mythri Movie Makers and me.” We need to see how others react to Dil Raju’s comments.

Prior to Satyadev getting a lot of fame for his roles in ‘Godfather’ and ‘Ram Sethu’, he acted a hero in a movie titled ‘Gurthunda Seethakalam’. Satyadev is considered one of the most underrated talents in Tollywood and his movies fail to get the reception they deserve most of the time. He doesn’t have an established till a few months back and this is one of the main reasons why ‘Gurthunda Seethakalm’ was postponed a lot of times.

This movie is a remake of the Kannada hit film ‘Love Mocktail’ and Tamannaah is the female lead in this romantic entertainer. The team of ‘Gurthunda Seethakalam’ recently held a press conference and launched a song. They even announced the movie’s new release date. What was surprising is the fact that Tamannaah is not taking part in the promotions. Not just her but the other female lead Megha Akash was also absent. It was only Priyadarshi and Satyadev who were present along with the director and producer.

Insiders claim that the makers tried to approach the milky beauty but she did not seem interested in promoting the movie after all the delays. The team needs this film to succeed and Satyadev working alongside big names like Chiranjeevi and Akshay Kumar will definitely help them. We need to wait and see if Tamannaah changes her mind in the next few days or not.

Produced and directed by Nagasekhar R, ‘Gurthunda Seetakalam’ has MS Reddy and China Babu presenting it. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor while Satya Hegde is the cinematographer. Lakshmi Bhupal penned the dialogues while Venkat choreographed the stunts. Kaala Bhairavaa is the music composer for this film.

Gujarat’s Narendra Modi Stadium Registers Guinness Record!

The Iconic Narendra Modi Stadium which was earlier called the Motera Stadium in Gujarat offers more seating capacity than popular Australia’s Melbourne Cricket Ground. Though it was built back in 1983 it was renovated in 2006. Under renovation, the facilities were revamped including the seating capacity.

Now the popular stadium added another feather to its cap by bagging an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records. It is known that the stadium hosted the finals of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League(IPL) played between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals with the Gujarat team lifting the trophy.

The same final made the stadium add a Guinness Record to its name by seating 101,566 fans which is the largest attendance at a T20 match. The cricket administrative body in India Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) shared the news of the final registering the record on Twitter.

BCCI Honorary Secretary Jay Shah shared his happiness over the stadium entering the Guinness Book and said he is delighted. He thanked the fans for making the record possible for coming in big numbers for the match.

“Extremely delighted & proud to receive the Guinness World Record for the largest attendance at a T20 match when 101,566 people witnessed the epic @IPL final at @GCAMotera’s magnificent Narendra Modi Stadium on 29 May 2022. A big thanks to our fans for making this possible! @BCCI,” Jay Shah said on Twitter.

The Narendra Modi Stadium located in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave was earlier called Motera Stadium. It took around five years for the stadium to get a complete makeover. For renovation, it was closed in 2015 and reopened in 2020. It is said that around Rs 800 crores were spent in renovating the establishment.

The stadium hosted the Pink ball test between India and the English team in 2021 after it was renovated. The state cricket body Gujarat Cricket Association decided to name the establishment after Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is a local of the state and served as the Chief Minister too. Between 2009-2014 Narendra Modi held the position of president of the Gujarat Cricket Association.

There has a lot of discussion going on about ‘Uppena’ director Buchi Babu Sana’s next project. While there were talks about him working with NTR for a long time, the star hero is yet to begin his 30th film under Koratala Siva’s direction. He even okayed Prasanth Neel’s project as well which made it tough for Buchi Babu.

Interestingly, rumours came out that the young director is set to work with Ram Charan soon. Now, the official announcement regarding this news has arrived. Mega Power star Ram Charan who became a pan-Indian hero after ‘RRR’ will be working under Buchi Babu Sana’s direction. This prestigious project will be bankrolled by Venkata Satish Kilaru under his ‘Vriddhi Cinemas’ banner. This is his maiden production venture.

Along with him, Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings will be co-producing this film. This official update has raised the expectations on this project that will be made on a grand budget. Details about the cast and crew will be coming out soon.

As we know, the ‘Chirutha’ hero is currently working on #RC15 under legendary filmmaker Shankar’s direction. Produced by Dil Raju, Kiara Advani is the heroine in this project. The entire team is in New Zealand right now shooting a lavishing song. This most-awaited project will be coming out in the second half of 2023. Noted actors like SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Anjali and others are a key part of it. Thaman is the music composer and the expectations are quite high on this movie.
