Vishwak Trying To Bite More Than He Can Chew!
There is no doubt in the fact that Vishwak Sen is a talented actor with a lot of potential. If he manages to plan his career perfectly, he can become a star in Tollywood. But everything needs time and patience is quite key. Trying to bite more than one could chew can often prove to be costly. A lot of people are worrying that the same could happen to this ‘Falaknuma Das’ hero.
After a light-hearted entertainer like ‘Ori Devuda’, Vishwak is all set to arrive with a complete mass action flick like ‘Das Ka Dhamki’. The trailer was launched on Friday and it is quite impressive. Though the shades of Gopichand’s ‘Goutham Nanda’ are quite visible, Vishwak’s acting, his mass look, action sequences, glam quotient, youth-oriented dialogues and other technical aspects are quite liked by the audience. But it is quite evident that it is the costliest film in his career.
Vishwak’s films are always made on a limited budget till date which is why most of his movies ended up in profits irrespective of the talk. But, the makers seems to have spent a lot of this project and it is reportedly more than Vishwak’s market. On top of that, he is the producer and he also handled the megaphone too. It looks like the youngster is taking a lot of responsibilities at once.
It is quite early in his career to do everything and people are claiming that Vishwak is gambling big on this movie. With his differences with Arjun Sarja over the ‘involvement’ in making, we need to see how Vishwak’s directorial performs.
Nivetha Pethuraj is the heroine in this movie. Directed by Vishwak Sen himself, this movie is produced by Karate Raju under Vanmaye Creations and Vishwaksen Cinemas banners. Prasanna Kumar Bezawada who wrote hit films like ‘Nenu Local’, ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame’ and upcoming ‘Dhamaka’ has penned the story and dialogues for this project titled ‘Das Ka Dhamki’. Rao Ramesh, Hyper Aadi, Rohini and Prithviraj are the other prominent cast of the movie. Dinesh K Babu handles the cinematography, while Leon James scores music and Anwar Ali is the editor.
Can The Handsome Hero Impress With Horror Thriller?
Bollywood’s handsome hero Varun Dhawan is arriving on 25th November with an intriguing movie titled ‘Bhediya’. After raising expectations with the trailer and songs, the entire team is busily promoting the film. The makers are claiming that ‘Bhediya’ as India’s first creature horror comedy.
We have seen a man turning into a werewolf in ‘The Twilight’ trilogy and ‘The Vampire Dairies’ franchise which are quite popular across the globe. But these attempts were never made in India as we have only seen women turning into Naagin in movies and serials. The concept of a human being turning into a werewolf in the night is quite unique. Rather than taking a completely serious thriller approach, the makers decided to take the horror comedy route for ‘Bhediya’.
Kriti Sanon is the leading lady in this movie and her glamour treat in songs has already gone viral. She and Varun look great onscreen and it is their second movie together after ‘Dilwale’. Apart from coming out in Hindi, it is also getting released in Telugu and Tamil languages. The censor formalities have been completed and it has been given a ‘U/A’ certificate. The runtime of the movie is 156 minutes which is a decent length.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, this movie is produced by Dinesh Vijayan. Niren Bhatt wrote the movie while Sachin-Jigar composed the music. Jishu Bhattacharjee is the director of photography while Sanyukta Kaza is the editor. With a lot of biggies failing to strike a chord with the audience, it is to be seen how ‘Bhediya’ performs at the box office at the end of November.
She is The Key To Balayya’s Dream Project!
Nandamuri Balakrishna has officially announced that he will be directing the sequel of ‘Aditya369’. This much-acclaimed super hit movie was a sensation back then and Balayya planned to make a sequel for it. Since a lot of people love the first movie for its innovative script, out-of-the-box thinking and usage of technology at that time, it is very important for Balakrishna to get everything right for the sequel too.
Technology has developed a lot and people are not accepting low quality visuals or graphics these days. We all know how much backlash ‘Adipurush’ got for its patchy CGI work. The audience will reject the movie instantly if such a science fiction project is not narrated properly without top-notch technology. It is safe to say that Balakrishna is old-style and is not technically advanced to demand the perfect CGI or VFX. Having a script that is strong is not enough in current times.
It has been reported that his daughter Tejaswini is playing an important part in ‘Unstoppable’ and she is the main reason behind the senior hero having an image makeover. Many claim that the ‘Legend’ hero needs to take her assistance in directing the sequel of ‘Aditya 369’. Let us wait and see what he does with ‘Aditya 999’.
Currently, Balakrishna is working on ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ under Gopichand Malineni’s direction. The mass masala action entertainer will be coming out during the Sankranti season while his 108th movie will be directed by Anil Ravipudi in 2023.
Smita Sabharwal to quit Twitter?
In a shocking decision, a senior IAS officer associated with the Telangana CMO Smita Sabharwal has decided to opt out of Twitter. She made an announcement to this effect on November 18. She tweeted thus: “In case it’s real #GoodByeTwitter. Thank you to all. I had a lot of fun on this platform.”
From the tone and tenor of her tweet, it appears that she has made this comment apparently in protest against Twitter’s decision to monetise the Blue Tick. Smita, who has been exhibiting a decidedly woke approach through her tweets, has stirred up a controversy over her comments in the wake of remission to the rapists of Bilkis Bano.
However, she remained quite silent in several other cases of rape and gender discrimination in Telangana state. She drew flak for this silence. Several social media users also slammed her for not choosing to comment on the gory murder of Shraddha Walker, a Dalit woman who was hacked into 35 pieces by her live-in partner Aftab Amin in Delhi.
Several netizens expressed shock at her statement claiming that she would bid a goodbye to Twitter. They claimed she was a role model and an inspiration to them. Smita Sabharwal’s last post prior to the November 18 post was uploaded five days ago. She tweeted lauding the budding artistes in the city.
February Filled With Crazy Projects!
February is usually considered as an unsuitable month for movie releases. After a huge Sankranti season that witnesses a lot of big films, February is a bit dull as not many star heroes prefer it. By the end of March, the flow starts once again as we see a lot of crazy projects arrive throughout the summer. February is considered as a dry month as most of the youth are busy with exams during this time.
It is usually treated as a month which can be used to clear all the unreleased movies and small projects. But the pandemic changes everything as the timetables are not the same anymore. With no exams in February, a lot of well-known films started to arrive in February over the last two years.
Though things returned to normal, February is still having some big releases. Trade experts say that there is going to be a mad rush of movies arriving in February. Samantha’s mythological drama ‘Shaakunthalam’, Dhanush’s ‘Sir’ and a few others have shifted releases from December to February. Along with them, Kalyan Ram’s ‘Amigos’ is arriving in February and Kiran Abbavaram’s ‘Vinao Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha’ is also releasing in the same month.
Akhil’s big-budget spy thriller ‘Agent’ is expected to release in February too. It will not be a surprise if more flicks hit the screens in February and many are wondering why the makers are preferring this month unlike before.
Aamir Khan’s daughter gets engaged to longtime BF
It is a known fact that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan has been dating her longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare for the past couple of years. The adorable pair have now got engaged on November 18 in Mumbai.
The engagement ceremony saw the presence of Aamir Khan, his ex-wife Kiran Roa, nephew Imran Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker, family and friends, among others.
In the pictures, which are currently going viral on the internet, Ira donned a red dress and looked radiant, while Nupur Shikhare sported a tuxedo.
Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare got into a relationship in 2020. She is the daughter of Aamir Khan from his first wife, producer Reena Dutta.
Another Special Cameo Arriving In ‘Loki-Verse’!
If there is one director in South Indian who made a special name for himself within a very short time, it is definitely Lokesh Kanagaraj. This Tamil director proved that he is unique with movies like ‘Khaidi’, ‘Master’ and ‘Vikram’. His different gangster dramas and action packed narration brought him a lot of fans. After ‘Vikram’, people are eagerly waiting for his next movie with Thalapathy Vijay.
Lokesh created a separate universe where his lead characters meet each other at some point. He links one story to another in a very convincing manner and prime example for it is ‘Khaidi’ and ‘Vikram’. At the end of ‘Vikram’, Lokesh hinted at Karthi’s involvement in ‘Vikram 2’. Also, Suriya has been introduced as the powerful villain Rolex at the very end and fans cannot wait to see his face off with Vikram played by Kamal Hassan in the next part.
The latest we hear is that Lokesh is planning to bring Kamal into Thalapathy Vijay’s project. Apparently, he is looking to bring him onboard for a special cameo and it is to be seen whether it will be a new character or Vikram. నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ గోపీచంద్ మలినేని దర్శకత్వంలో తన 107 వ సినిమా వీరసింహారెడ్డిని ఫినిష్ చేస్తున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈ సినిమా షూటింగ్ దాదాపు తుది దశకు చేరుకుంది. ఫైనల్ షెడ్యూల్ పూర్తయితే పోస్ట్ ప్రొడక్షన్ పనులు కూడా వీలైనంత త్వరగా పూర్తి చేయాలని అనుకుంటున్నారు. ఈ సినిమాను సంక్రాంతికి విడుదల చేయాలని ఫిక్స్ అయిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.

కానీ రెమ్యునరేషన్ తోనే ఆమె నిర్మాతలను భయపెట్టినట్లుగా తెలుస్తోంది. ప్రస్తుతం నయన్ తన రేంజ్ కు తగ్గట్టుగానే ఎనిమిది నుంచి పది కోట్ల మధ్యలో డిమాండ్ చేస్తుంది.
అట్లీ దర్శకత్వంలో షారుఖాన్ తో చేస్తున్న జవాన్ సినిమా కోసం ఆమె 10 కోట్ల తీసుకుంటున్నట్లుగా టాక్ అయితే వచ్చింది. ఇక ఇప్పుడు బాలయ్య సినిమా కోసం 8 నుంచి పది కోట్ల మధ్యలో డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నట్లు సమాచారం. ఇప్పటివరకు సౌత్ ఇండస్ట్రీలో ఆ రేంజ్ లో ఏ హీరోయిన్ రెమ్యునరేషన్ అందుకోలేదు. ఇక లేడీ సూపర్ స్టార్ రేంజ్ అయితే ఇప్పుడు అదే తరహాలో ఉంది. కాబట్టి ఆమె మార్కెట్ ను బట్టి ఆ స్థాయిలో ఇవ్వాల్సిందే. మరి ఈ విషయంలో షైన్ స్క్రీన్స్ నిర్మతలు ఏ విధంగా ఆలోచిస్తారో చూడాలి.
