Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu Songs Break Records Ahead of Release”

Share

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s highly anticipated stival entertainer Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is creating a huge buzz, with every piece of profemotional content receiving massive response. Director Anil Ravipudi is strategically using the film’s soundtrack as a key promotional tool, and the results are evident in both numbers and fan engagement.

The first single, Meesala Pilla, composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, has become a nationwide hit, crossing 100 million views on YouTube—the highest for a Telugu song in 2025. Its nostalgic melody, star-driven visuals, and the unique combination of Udit Narayan’s timeless voice with Shweta Mohan’s modern elegance have resonated widely. Fans are also raving about Chiranjeevi’s stunning dance moves.

The second track, Sasirekha, continued the momentum, quickly crossing 35 million views. Riding this wave of success, the team recently released the third single, Mega Victory Mass, featuring both Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh. The song received a massive response, amassing nearly 8 million views shortly after release.

Industry observers note that Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is shaping up as a textbook example of how strategic music releases can amplify a film’s promotional cycle and convert early buzz into immense audience anticipation.

“Anil Ravipudi Praises Prabhas’ Humility Ahead of Sankranthi Releases”

Share

In today’s film industry, where stardom is often measured by box-office numbers and fan following, true greatness is reflected in humility and humanity. New-age director Anil Ravipudi’s heartfelt praise for Prabhas is a testament to this truth. What may seem like a simple remark carries immense depth and dignity.

At the pre-release event of The Raja Saab, Prabhas made a statement that caught everyone’s attention. Emphasizing respect for senior actors, he said that juniors should always show deference to their seniors and went on to wish all films releasing during the Sankranthi season grand success.

Director Anil Ravipudi, who is busy promoting Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, described Prabhas’ words as a true reflection of his personality. “That one statement itself shows what kind of person Prabhas is. That is exactly why we all lovingly call him ‘Darling Prabhas’. His nature and humanity have brought him to the position he enjoys today. For that statement especially, my heartfelt respect and hats off to him,” said the director.

Anil Ravipudi also shared his team’s excitement for The Raja Saab, revealing they would attend the premieres on January 8. Apart from this, several films are set to release this Sankranthi, including Ravi Teja’s Bharta Mahasayulaku Wignapthi, Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Roju, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, as well as dubbed releases like Vijay’s Jana Nayakudu and Sivakarthikeyan’s Parashanti. The total business at stake this festive season is estimated at over Rs 350 crore.

However, a top distributor warned that only three films can be comfortably accommodated during the Sankranthi window, given there are just around 1,500 theatres across the Telugu states. “Dubbed films should ideally be avoided during the festive season. Telugu stars like Chiranjeevi and Prabhas are already in direct competition, while other actors are also looking to cash in on the festival advantage,” he added.

Duvvada Srinivas Rules Out TDP–Jana Sena, Reaffirms Respect for Jagan

Share

Former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and MLC Duvvada Srinivas, who has recently been in the news for his candid interviews alongside his companion Divvela Madhuri, shared interesting insights in a recent television interview.

Despite being expelled from the YSRCP, Srinivas stated that his admiration and emotional attachment to party chief Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy remain intact.

When asked about the possibility of joining the TDP–Jana Sena alliance, he categorically ruled it out, stating that he would never align with that coalition. On the prospect of joining the BJP, Srinivas said the decision would ultimately rest with the people. Madhuri, however, left the option open, saying, “we may or may not join the BJP.”

Srinivas emphasized that he continues to hold deep respect for Jagan Mohan Reddy and asserted that he was deliberately distanced from the party chief by others within the YSRCP. “If I ever return to a position of influence, I will come only to you. I only seek your blessings,” he added.

He also clarified that he had never criticised former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy or Jagan Mohan Reddy, regardless of party affiliations. Reflecting on his time in the Praja Rajyam Party, he said he faced pressure to criticise YSR but refused to do so, maintaining his respect for the former CM.

Concluding his remarks, Srinivas stated that while he may consider joining a political party in the future, his ideological stance will remain consistent, and both YSR and Jagan will always command his respect.

Nani and Teja Sajja: Tollywood’s Most Consistent Stars of 2025

Share

As 2025 draws to a close, Tollywood’s box-office report card reveals an interesting—and somewhat uncomfortable—truth. Despite dozens of releases, big banners, and massive pre-release hype, only two Telugu heroes managed to deliver genuine back-to-back theatrical successes across 2024 and 2025: Nani and Teja Sajja.

No noise. No PR overdrive. Just films that genuinely worked.

Nani, long regarded as the industry’s safest bet, continued his stellar run with Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, followed by the intense HIT: The Third Case. Both films reinforced his reputation as a star who balances content, scale, and box-office discipline better than most of his peers.

Teja Sajja, meanwhile, quietly entered the same conversation. Following the industry-shaking success of HanuMan, all eyes were on whether he could repeat the magic. With Mirai, he answered decisively, proving that his success is driven not by a superhero costume but by audience trust.

What sets this duo apart in 2025 is their predictability in an otherwise unpredictable market. Producers today are not just chasing opening numbers—they seek sustainability and guaranteed returns. In that equation, Nani remains the gold standard, while Teja Sajja has emerged as the newest “minimum guarantee” hero.

As Tollywood looks ahead to 2026, one key takeaway is clear: consistency, not just stardom, ruled the industry in 2025.

KCR Revamps BRS Legislative Leadership in Telangana Assembly

Share

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday announced key changes in the party’s legislative leadership in the Telangana Assembly. The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening coordination and improving the party’s effectiveness on the floor of the House.

As part of the new structure, KCR—who continues as the BRS floor leader and Leader of the Opposition—appointed Siddipet MLA T. Harish Rao, Maheshwaram MLA Sabitha Indra Reddy, and Sanathnagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav as deputy floor leaders in the Assembly.

In the Telangana Legislative Council, senior leaders L. Ramana and Pochampally Srinivas Reddy were named as deputy leaders, while Desapati Srinivas was appointed as the party Whip. Senior leader S. Madhusudhana Chary will continue as the BRS floor leader in the Council.

Notably, KCR’s son and senior party leader K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) did not feature in the latest set of appointments. Political analysts suggest that KCR may be dissatisfied with the way KTR has been handling party affairs and believes that Harish Rao can manage Assembly strategy more effectively.

Party sources stated that the reshuffle is intended to ensure better coordination, stronger discipline, and clearer articulation of the party’s stand during Assembly proceedings. The BRS leadership expressed confidence that the revamped legislative team would enhance the party’s performance and help consolidate its position as a strong and effective opposition in the Telangana Assembly.

2025: A Turning Point Year for New Andhra Pradesh

Share

The year 2025 will be remembered as one of the most historic and defining phases in the journey of modern Andhra Pradesh. After nearly five years marked by uncertainty, weak investor confidence, and a freebies-driven economy, the state has once again emerged as a serious and credible destination for both global and national investments.

From global tech giants like Google to infrastructure majors such as the Adani Group, several big-ticket companies have shown strong interest in setting up or expanding their operations in Andhra Pradesh. This renewed investor confidence is more than just positive news—it represents hope for job creation, higher incomes for families, and long-term economic stability for the state’s youth.

This transformation did not happen overnight. The NDA government, under the leadership of N. Chandrababu Naidu, has worked consistently to rebuild trust. Clear and transparent policies, faster approvals, and continuous engagement with industry leaders have sent out a strong and unambiguous message: Andhra Pradesh is back in business. The successful CII Summit held in Visakhapatnam stands as a testament to this renewed confidence and marks just the beginning of the growth journey of “New Andhra Pradesh.” Many industrialists have openly acknowledged that policy clarity and governance stability are the key reasons for their return to the state.

Parallelly, infrastructure development is finally moving from paper to ground reality. The long-awaited Bhogapuram International Airport is expected to become operational by 2026, alongside the development of multiple ports along the state’s vast coastline. These projects are set to significantly boost trade, tourism, and connectivity, particularly benefiting the North Andhra region. At the same time, Amaravati is once again witnessing tangible on-ground activity, restoring public confidence that the capital city dream is firmly back on track.

Crucially, growth is being balanced with welfare. While Minister Lokesh is strongly focused on education reforms and attracting investments to Andhra Pradesh, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has concentrated on grassroots welfare—ensuring access to drinking water, strengthening rural development, and supporting vulnerable communities, especially in tribal regions. This blend of large-scale investments and people-centric welfare has helped humanise the government’s development narrative.

As Andhra Pradesh moves into 2026, expectations are naturally high. The focus now lies on effective implementation—turning MoUs into functioning factories, airports into operational flights, and policies into real, on-ground benefits for citizens. If the current momentum continues, Andhra Pradesh is clearly entering a new phase of growth, with optimism and confidence returning to households across the state.

Prithviraj Sukumaran Becomes Tollywood’s Go-To Choice

Share

Tollywood has always been a fertile ground for talented actors and technicians, offering ample opportunities to artists from across industries. Over the years, several actors from other languages have carved a strong niche in Telugu cinema with impactful roles. The latest versatile actor to join this list is Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is fast becoming a favourite among Telugu filmmakers.

After making a strong impression with Salaar and signing on for Varanasi, Prithviraj has reportedly locked in his third Telugu project. According to reliable sources, he has been roped in for a powerful, author-backed role in Nani’s upcoming film with OG director Sujeeth. While an official announcement is still awaited, the development has already generated considerable buzz.

Tentatively titled Bloody Romeo, the film is said to be a dark comedy thriller infused with Sujeeth’s signature action elements. With Nani in the lead, Prithviraj is expected to play a formidable on-screen rival, bringing immense acting depth to the narrative. Known for giving striking makeovers to his key characters, Sujeeth is likely to present Prithviraj in a fresh and compelling avatar.

Prithviraj is widely regarded as one of the finest and most multifaceted actors in South Indian cinema. His performance in Prabhas’ Salaar earned widespread appreciation and strengthened his connection with Telugu audiences. Up next, he will be seen as the primary antagonist in SS Rajamouli’s ambitious globe-trotting action adventure Varanasi, starring Superstar Mahesh Babu. His first look as “Kumbha,” featuring a menacing and futuristic design, received an overwhelming response from audiences worldwide upon its release last month.

Varanasi is expected to be a major turning point in Prithviraj’s career, significantly boosting his visibility on a global scale. Even before its release, the actor is already emerging as one of the most in-demand choices for pivotal roles in big-budget Telugu films, signaling an exciting new chapter in his Tollywood journey.

Silent Promotions Spark Doubts Over ‘Nari Nari Naduma Murari’

Share

With Sankranti turning into a crowded battleground this year, promotions have become critical for every film in the race. Amidst intense competition, Nari Nari Naduma Murari seems to be adopting a surprisingly low-key promotional strategy.

The film has not seen any significant promotional activity in recent days. Apart from the team wishing writer Bhanu Bhogavarapu on his birthday, there have been no fresh updates. Even that poster skipped mentioning the release date, which has naturally raised eyebrows.

Earlier, the makers had officially announced a January 14 release with evening premieres, making the current silence around the date all the more puzzling. In a festive season where multiple big films are aggressively promoting themselves, maintaining visibility is crucial. Regardless of confidence in content, long gaps between updates can be risky.

Directed by Ram Abbaraju, who won audience appreciation with Samajavaragamana, the film stars Sakshi Vaidya and Samyuktha Menon as the female leads. The storyline revolves around a single hero caught between two heroines—a familiar yet crowd-pleasing formula that coincidentally features in another upcoming Sankranti release as well.

Produced by Anil Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner, with music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, Nari Nari Naduma Murari still has time to make an impact. If the makers are firmly aiming for a festival release, a stronger promotional push with something special may be needed soon to stand out in the packed Sankranti lineup.

Dhurandhar Hits ₹1100 Cr Despite Gulf Ban

Share

India’s highest-grossing film of 2025, Dhurandhar, continues its phenomenal run as the New Year approaches. The Ranveer Singh-starrer has already amassed around ₹1100 crore gross worldwide, creating history at the Bollywood box office. Remarkably, even after 25 days of its release, the high-octane spy thriller is still registering double-digit daily revenues.

Amid this extraordinary box office success, the film faced one major setback. Dhurandhar was banned in several Gulf countries, resulting in an estimated revenue loss of nearly ₹90 crore. Despite performing exceptionally well across other overseas markets, the absence of a Middle East release significantly impacted its total earnings.

The film was reportedly blocked across six Gulf nations — Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Censor authorities in these regions objected to the film’s alleged anti-Pakistan messaging, as the storyline draws inspiration from Operation Lyari, involving Indian intelligence operations in Pakistan.

According to the film’s overseas distributor, the Gulf ban proved to be a major missed opportunity. Given the strong word of mouth following its December 5 release, Dhurandhar could have comfortably earned close to ₹100 crore in the Middle East alone during its full theatrical run. Traditionally, Indian action and patriotic films perform extremely well in Gulf countries due to the large Indian diaspora, and Dhurandhar was expected to follow the same trend.

Several Bollywood films in the past, including Fighter, Sky Force, The Diplomat, Article 370, Tiger 3, and The Kashmir Files, also faced similar bans in Gulf territories.

Nevertheless, Dhurandhar has stormed the global box office and emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. In overseas markets like North America, it has become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, surpassing previous blockbusters such as Jawan and Pathaan. The film’s patriotic undertone and adrenaline-pumping action sequences struck a strong chord with audiences, paving the way for a record-breaking theatrical run across all released territories.
