Samsung has announced its next-generation home audio lineup for 2026, reinforcing its focus on immersive sound experiences powered by intelligent tuning and premium design. The South Korean consumer technology giant will showcase its latest soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, scheduled from January 6 to January 9.

The new portfolio includes advanced Q-Series soundbars and the aesthetically driven Music Studio speaker range, both aimed at delivering cinema-grade audio and refined home integration.

Samsung Q-Series Soundbars

Leading the lineup is the Samsung HW-Q990H, a flagship soundbar designed to deliver a truly immersive home theatre experience. It features an 11.1.4-channel system, consisting of a 7.0.2 main soundbar, 4.0.2 rear speakers, and dual 8-inch drivers. Samsung claims the setup enhances spatial depth and clarity through features such as Sound Elevation, which improves dialogue placement, and Auto Volume, ensuring consistent audio levels across content.

The HW-Q990H also introduces next-generation AI tuning, which automatically optimizes sound output based on room acoustics and listening conditions.

Another notable addition is the HW-QS90H, an all-in-one soundbar with a convertible fit design. It houses a 7.1.2-channel system with 13 drivers, complemented by a built-in gyro sensor and a quad bass woofer system. This model is designed to adapt to different placements while maintaining immersive surround sound performance.

With this 2026 audio lineup, Samsung continues to push the boundaries of smart sound technology, combining AI-driven performance, flexible design, and premium aesthetics for home entertainment enthusiasts.

How AI Is Helping Travellers Beat Airline Dynamic Pricing

Share

A viral post by a Peru-based tech professional has reignited debate around airline pricing transparency, suggesting that artificial intelligence tools can help travellers uncover heavily discounted airfares that remain invisible in standard searches.

In a post on X, Peru-based AI expert Gina Acosta claimed she reduced the cost of a flight from $1,200 to $340 by using targeted prompts on Grok to analyse airline pricing behaviour. According to Acosta, the savings came from understanding how airlines deploy dynamic pricing models rather than relying on conventional fare-comparison platforms.

“AIRLINES DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW THIS. Grok found me a $1,200 flight for $340,” she wrote, adding that AI-assisted analysis can reveal pricing loopholes embedded within airline systems.

Acosta outlined six specific prompts designed to expose how fares are structured and how travellers can optimise booking strategies. The first focuses on route-level pricing intelligence, asking AI tools to analyse historical fare patterns, identify the cheapest days to fly, ideal booking windows, and seasonal trends for a specific route.

Another tactic involves expanding searches beyond major airports. By prompting AI to identify all alternative airports within a 100-mile radius and factoring in ground transportation costs, travellers can calculate true savings often missed in conventional searches.

She also highlighted hidden city ticketing, a controversial practice where passengers book longer routes with layovers at their intended destination because they are cheaper than direct flights. Acosta’s prompt asks AI tools to identify such options while clearly outlining associated risks, airline rules, and potential savings.

Tracking mistake fares and pricing errors formed another key pillar of her approach. One prompt requests a structured system to monitor fare anomalies, recommending alert tools, websites, and methods to distinguish genuine errors from limited-time promotions.

Airline points arbitrage was also addressed, encouraging travellers to compare the cost-effectiveness of buying miles, using credit card bonuses, transferring loyalty points, or booking positioning flights to cheaper hubs. “Show me the math for each option,” the prompt specifies.

Her sixth prompt directly interrogates airline dynamic pricing, asking how fares fluctuate based on user behaviour and whether strategies such as clearing cookies, using VPNs, switching devices, or booking at specific times can help avoid price inflation.

Acosta added a seventh “bonus” prompt that consolidates all strategies into a single AI-generated booking plan, asking for a step-by-step approach within a fixed budget.

“These prompts help you uncover pricing strategies, loopholes, and insider knowledge that can save hundreds on flights,” she said.

The post has gained significant traction among frequent travellers and tech enthusiasts, reflecting a growing trend of using generative AI not just for travel planning, but for actively analysing and challenging pricing mechanisms in the global aviation industry.

India Raises Alarm Over US H-1B Visa Interview Cancellations

Share

Thousands of Indian professionals have been left in uncertainty after the United States abruptly cancelled pre-scheduled H-1B visa interviews across India, prompting New Delhi to formally raise the issue with Washington. The disruption is linked to enhanced vetting procedures, including deeper scrutiny of applicants’ social media activity and online presence.

The interviews, originally scheduled to begin in mid-December, have now been postponed by several months. Many applicants received last-minute emails informing them of rescheduled appointments, with some new dates pushed as far as May next year. These delays have severely impacted professionals who had travelled to India for visa stamping and are now unable to return to the US due to the lack of a valid visa stamp.

Addressing the issue at a weekly media briefing, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said the government had received multiple representations from affected Indian nationals. While acknowledging that visa matters fall under the sovereign domain of individual countries, Jaiswal confirmed that India has flagged the concerns with US authorities in both New Delhi and Washington DC.

He added that India remains actively engaged with the US to address and minimise disruptions, noting that the delays have caused significant hardship to applicants, their families, and the education of their children. The impact has extended beyond H-1B applicants to H-4 visa holders, primarily spouses of H-1B workers, many of whom have been stranded for extended periods.

According to officials, interviews for several other visa categories have also reportedly been postponed under the new vetting norms, though the total number of affected applicants remains unclear.

The move comes amid a broader tightening of US immigration policies under the Trump administration. Indians account for approximately 71 per cent of approved H-1B applications in recent years, as per US Citizenship and Immigration Services data. Concerns have further intensified following a September proclamation that raised the H-1B visa fee to $100,000, along with recent remarks from US Vice President JD Vance criticising the programme for allegedly bypassing American labour.

Separately, Jaiswal stated that India and the US continue discussions on a proposed bilateral trade agreement, with both sides aiming for a fair, balanced, and mutually beneficial outcome.

Suniel Shetty on Rejecting ₹40 Crore Tobacco Ad and Personal Growth

Share

Bollywood veteran Suniel Shetty, renowned for his versatility and strong personal values, recently revealed that he once rejected a ₹40 crore offer to endorse a tobacco product, citing it went against his principles and the example he wanted to set for his children, Ahan and Athiya.

In an interview with Peeping Moon, the Dhadkan actor shared that early in his career, he made a conscious decision to never promote tobacco.
“I was offered ₹40 crore for a tobacco advertisement. I looked at them and said, ‘Do you really think I would fall for money? I won’t.’ I may have needed the money at that time, but I still refused,” he stated.

Suniel added that endorsing such products conflicted with his personal beliefs.
“It’s something I don’t believe in. I won’t do anything that could leave a blemish on Ahan and Athiya. Today, no one even approaches me with such offers,” he explained.

During the conversation, Suniel also spoke about the passing of his father, Veerappa Shetty, in 2017, which led him to take a break from acting. He revealed that caring for his ailing father, who had been unwell since 2014, took a significant emotional toll.
“I wasn’t in the right frame of mind. I had almost completely stepped away from work. Then he passed away,” he said.

Suniel recounted that on the morning of his father’s death, he received an offer to host a health show, which he saw as a calling. This marked the start of his gradual return to work, including films in South India. He added, “After such a long break, you begin to doubt your craft and wonder if the industry has moved on.”

Reflecting on his personal growth post-pandemic, Suniel shared, “Post-pandemic, I started looking at myself differently. I trained harder, read more, and focused on self-growth. Eventually, I became so confident that I realised I didn’t need validation from anyone.”

Nidhhi Agerwal on Her Role in “The Raja Saab” and Working With Prabhas

Share

Nidhhi Agerwal is all set to captivate audiences as one of the female leads in The Raja Saab. Having worked on the project for over three years, the actress has understandably high expectations and believes the film will surprise viewers.

Speaking about the film, Nidhhi praised Prabhas, highlighting both his on-screen character and off-screen persona. She mentioned that she has rarely come across a star as sweet and endearing as him.

However, Nidhhi also revealed the only challenge she faced while working with Prabhas was matching his height. Standing well over six feet tall, Prabhas posed a challenge during romantic and close-up sequences. She added that heels and on-set props helped her manage the height difference effectively.

Nidhhi Agerwal expressed hope that The Raja Saab will open up more opportunities for her in Telugu cinema and strengthen her position in the industry.

Rashi Khanna to Feature in Special Song for Naveen Polishetty’s Sankranti Film

Share

Naveen Polishetty’s upcoming film Anaganaga Oka Raju, slated for a Sankranti release, is all set to feature a high-energy special song. The makers are gearing up to shoot this exciting number in the coming days.

After considering several options, including Bhagyashri Borse and even a Bollywood actress, the team has finalised Rashi Khanna for the special appearance. Rashi Khanna performing an item song is a rare occurrence, which has already generated considerable buzz among fans and the media.

Interestingly, Rashi Khanna was recently seen as the female lead opposite Siddhu Jonnalagadda in Telusu Kada, making this special song appearance even more noteworthy.

Special songs have traditionally been a highlight of Sankranti releases. Films like The Raja Saab featured a song with both hero and heroine, Shankaravaraprasad included a special number with two heroes, and Bhakta Mahashayulu had a unique song with Ravi Teja and two heroines.

Within the industry, there is a strong belief that mass entertainers, high-energy songs, and mass elements perform exceptionally well during the Sankranti season in Andhra Pradesh, making this special song an important element of the film’s festive appeal.

KCR Briefly Attends Telangana Assembly After Nine Months

Share

As the winter session of the Telangana State Assembly commenced on Monday, all eyes were on Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and Leader of Opposition K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), making his first appearance in the House after a gap of over nine months.

KCR arrived from his Nandinagar residence, receiving a warm reception from BRS legislators who escorted him into the House. He took his seat even before most members had arrived. However, his stay was brief—he left the Assembly within five minutes of the session’s commencement, immediately after the condolence motions concluded.

Upon entering the Assembly hall, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy personally greeted KCR and inquired about his health, to which the BRS chief replied courteously that he was doing well. Several ministers and legislators, including Uttam Kumar Reddy, Sridhar Babu, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Seethakka, Vakiti Srihari, Adluri Laxman Kumar, government whips Birla Ilaiah and Adi Srinivas, Congress MLAs, and CPI MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, also exchanged greetings with the former Chief Minister.

KCR left the House along with former minister Harish Rao and returned to his residence shortly afterward.

The Assembly paid tributes to two former MLAs, Ram Reddy Damodara Reddy and Konda Laxman Reddy, who had recently passed away. Condolence resolutions were introduced, and members observed a moment of silence in their memory.

The session also included discussions on key matters such as expansion of GHMC wards from 150 to 300, removal of the two-child norm in local body elections, amendments to the Telangana GST Act, and employee rationalisation measures.

Anil Ravipudi: 2025 Sankranthi Blockbuster & National Award Winner

Share

2025 turned out to be a mixed year for the Telugu film industry. While a handful of films went on to become sensational blockbusters, the year also delivered its fair share of unexpected disappointments and underperformers. Among the filmmakers who managed to score solid commercial success, Anil Ravipudi clearly stood tall above the rest.

Renowned for his remarkable consistency, Anil Ravipudi once again proved his box-office strength with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, which emerged as the biggest Sankranthi blockbuster of 2025. The film went on to collect over ₹300 crore gross worldwide, making it the most profitable Telugu film of the year when measured against its production budget.

With this success, Anil Ravipudi registered his fourth Sankranthi blockbuster, following F2, F3, and now Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. The film also provided a major morale boost for Victory Venkatesh, bringing much-needed relief not just to the producers but to the Telugu film industry at a crucial juncture.

What truly distinguishes Anil Ravipudi is his knack for delivering highly relatable, audience-friendly entertainers. His films consistently connect with viewers through simple storytelling, clean humor, and a strong festive atmosphere. Rather than chasing pan-India trends, he remains firmly rooted in family-oriented and rural narratives, an approach that continues to yield impressive results.

Equally important is his mastery over film promotions. Anil Ravipudi has proven time and again that smart, well-planned promotional strategies play a vital role in box-office success, further cementing his reputation as one of Telugu cinema’s most dependable commercial directors.

Adding to his achievements, Anil Ravipudi was honored with a National Award in 2025 for Bhagavanth Kesari, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. The film stood out for seamlessly blending a powerful social message with mass-appeal entertainment, highlighting the director’s creative vision and storytelling finesse.

Looking ahead, Anil Ravipudi is set to collaborate with Megastar Chiranjeevi for a wholesome entertainer titled Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, a project that has already generated significant buzz and expectations among audiences and trade circles alike.
