Prabhas’ Hanu Raghavapudi Film Title to Be Revealed on His Birthday

Share

It’s celebration time for Prabhas fans! The makers of his highly anticipated film with director Hanu Raghavapudi are all set to unveil the film’s title tomorrow, coinciding with the star’s birthday and adding to the excitement.

Ahead of the big reveal, the team released a striking pre-look poster, igniting massive curiosity around the project, currently trending as #PrabhasHanu.

In the poster, Prabhas is seen from the waist down, wearing a long overcoat and rugged boots, walking alone with a bag in hand. Behind him, a wall mural shows marching soldiers holding rifles, while the line “Most Wanted Since 1932” hints at a powerful tale of rebellion and survival set against the pre-Independence era.

The faded Union Jack beneath his feet and Bhagavad Gita verses inscribed in the background add rich layers of symbolism — suggesting a story that blends patriotism, resistance, and spirituality.

The pre-look has set the tone perfectly, raising anticipation for the first look, which is expected to create waves upon release.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner, the film stars Imanvi as the female lead opposite Prabhas, with Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, and Jaya Prada in pivotal roles.

This collaboration marks one of the most exciting chapters in Prabhas’s career, and fans can’t wait to see what unfolds next.

Janhvi Kapoor Shifts Focus to Tollywood with Ram Charan’s Peddi

Share

Janhvi Kapoor seems to be entering a new phase in her career, shifting her focus from Bollywood to Tollywood after a challenging year at the Hindi box office. Despite multiple releases — Param Sundari, Homebound, and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari — none of the films managed to make a mark commercially, signaling a brief lull in her Bollywood journey.

Now, the actress is channeling her energy into Telugu cinema, where exciting opportunities await. She is currently shooting for Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, which is progressing at a rapid pace and is slated for release in March 2026.

Adding to the buzz, Janhvi is reportedly in advanced talks to play one of the female leads in Allu Arjun and Atlee’s upcoming sci-fi entertainer. The high-profile project already stars Deepika Padukone as the main heroine, while Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor are being considered for other key roles.

If all goes as planned, Janhvi will soon have two major Telugu films lined up — marking a strong new beginning in the South. While her Bollywood run has momentarily slowed, her Tollywood career is clearly taking flight.

After the massive success of Animal (2023), filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga seems to be expanding his cinematic universe once again. Even before his upcoming cop action drama Spirit starring Prabhas goes on floors, industry buzz suggests that Vanga is planning to turn it into a franchise.

According to sources, the Prabhas–Triptii Dimri starrer is set to begin filming in February 2026. Reports indicate that the team is considering adding a cliffhanger ending to the film, setting the stage for an exciting sequel.

“The makers are building a universe around Prabhas’s cop character, with plans to end the first part on a thrilling note,” revealed an insider.

Following the release of The Raja Saab in January 2026, Prabhas will begin shooting for Spirit. The first schedule will take place in Mumbai, followed by extensive shoots across Mexico, Thailand, and Indonesia.

The source further added, “A look test was already completed, and the makers have locked two distinct looks for Prabhas. A flashback sequence will be filmed during the Mumbai schedule.”

With Spirit, Sandeep Reddy Vanga aims to deliver yet another high-voltage action saga — one that could mark the beginning of a thrilling new franchise.

J.D. Vance Says Gaza Ceasefire Progress ‘Better Than Expected’

Share

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, during his visit to Israel on Tuesday, said the implementation of the U.S.-brokered ceasefire plan for Gaza was “going better than expected,” while urging “a little bit of patience” amid growing Israeli frustration over the slow return of hostages’ remains.

Speaking at the Civilian Military Coordination Center in Kiryat Gat, southern Israel, where U.S. troops are deployed to monitor the truce, Vance praised Israeli cooperation in carrying out the plan. His trip, which follows visits by two top White House envoys, comes as the fragile ceasefire faces renewed tension following deadly clashes in recent days.

Israel on Tuesday confirmed the identification of the body of Tal Haimi, a hostage abducted during the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack. Under the ceasefire terms, Hamas is to return the remains of 15 deceased hostages; 13 have been handed over so far.

Vance, accompanied by his wife Usha Vance, is expected to remain in the region until Thursday (October 23) and meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, families of hostages, and recently freed captives.

Meanwhile, Hamas chief negotiator Khalil al-Hayya, speaking from Cairo, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to the truce, saying the Sharm el-Sheikh summit, hosted by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi and U.S. President Donald Trump, signified “an international will declaring the war in Gaza is over.”

The ceasefire remains fragile. Israeli strikes in Rafah, Gaza City, and Khan Younis in response to militant attacks have killed at least 45 Palestinians, while two Israeli soldiers were reported dead. The Israeli military is reinforcing “yellow line” boundaries to prevent further violations.

In a separate development, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani reiterated his nation’s mediation role but condemned Israel’s recent actions.

Gaza health officials have alleged that some of the 150 Palestinian bodies returned under the ceasefire deal show signs of torture, including rope marks, burns, and crushed limbs—claims denied by Israeli authorities, who insist all detainees were treated lawfully.

India Upgrades Kabul Mission to Embassy Status

Share

In a significant diplomatic move, the Government of India has upgraded its Technical Mission in Kabul to the status of the Embassy of India in Afghanistan, effective immediately, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Tuesday.

The decision, following the recent visit of Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister to New Delhi, underscores India’s intent to strengthen bilateral relations and deepen engagement across development, humanitarian, and capacity-building domains.

“The Embassy of India in Kabul will further augment India’s contribution to Afghanistan’s comprehensive development, humanitarian assistance, and capacity-building initiatives, in keeping with the priorities and aspirations of Afghan society,” the MEA said.

This marks India’s first formal diplomatic expansion in Afghanistan since the Taliban regained control in 2021.

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, while announcing the upgrade on October 10, said the move reflects India’s “commitment to Kabul” and announced plans to increase flight connectivity between the two capitals. He also reaffirmed India’s readiness to cooperate with Afghanistan on water resource management and regional stability.

In a gesture of continued support, India handed over 20 ambulances and other medical equipment to Afghanistan, reinforcing its commitment to the welfare of the Afghan people. Both sides also held talks on development projects, counterterrorism efforts, and cooperation in natural resource management.

Jaishankar emphasized the shared threat of cross-border terrorism and stressed coordinated efforts to ensure peace, growth, and prosperity in the region.

AWS Outage Disrupts Global Internet Services

Share

A massive outage at Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Monday caused widespread disruption across the internet, affecting major apps, websites, and digital tools relied on by millions worldwide.

The incident began around 07:11 GMT following a faulty API update to DynamoDB, one of AWS’s core database systems, at a major data center in Virginia. The error cascaded through the Domain Name System (DNS), preventing apps from connecting to servers and resulting in a widespread failure across 113 AWS services.

By 10:11 GMT, Amazon reported that most systems were restored, though residual delays persisted. The outage temporarily impacted popular platforms including OpenAI, ESPN, Apple Music, Snapchat, Pinterest, WhatsApp, Slack, Zoom, Roblox, Fortnite, Starbucks, Etsy, and Venmo. Even Amazon’s own services—such as Alexa, Ring, and Kindle downloads—faced interruptions.

The disruption also reached financial institutions, airlines, and news organizations, including Delta, United, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Associated Press.

AWS engineers acted swiftly to contain the failure and initiated multiple recovery paths. Amazon confirmed the issue was caused by a technical error during a routine update and assured users that a detailed post-incident report will follow.

The outage highlights the critical dependency of global digital infrastructure on major cloud providers like AWS. A single technical glitch, as this event demonstrated, can reverberate across industries and geographies within minutes, underscoring the fragility of today’s interconnected systems.
