Kaushik to join TRS today
HYDERABAD: Former TPCC secretary Padi Kaushik Reddy is all set to join the TRS in the presence of party supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday.
While speaking to the media at his Gachibowli residence, he alleged that former Minister and BJP leader Eatala Rajender hatched a plan to murder him. While stating that Rajender has a record of political killings, he alleged that the former had involvement in murder of former MPTC Balraj in 2014.

Jr NTR is all set to entertain small screen audiences again with Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu, an infotainment show. Gemini TV will be telecasting this show and Jr NTR had already started shooting for the same earlier this month.
As per the latest updates, Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu will be premiering on the small screens this Independence Day – 15th August.

అశ్లీల వీడియోలు రూపొందించి యాప్ లో పెట్టి అమ్మారనే ఆరోపణలపై బాలీవుడ్ నటి శిల్పాశెట్టి భర్త వ్యాపారవేత్త రాజ్ కుంద్రాను పోలీసులు అరెస్ట్ చేసిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. రాజ్ కుంద్రాను కోర్టులో హాజరుపరిచారు. అతడి మొబైల్ ఫోన్ స్వాధీనం చేసుకుని జూలై 23 వరకు కోర్టు పోలీసు కస్టడీకి పంపింది. 45 ఏళ్ల కుంద్రాపై నమోదైన కేసు అశ్లీల వీడియోలు తీయడం.. కొన్ని యాప్ల ద్వారా పోస్ట్ చేసినందుకు అరెస్ట్ చేసినట్టు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు. భారతీయ శిక్షాస్మృతి (ఐపిసి) ఇన్ఫర్మేషన్ టెక్నాలజీ (ఐటి) చట్టంలోని సంబంధిత సెక్షన్ల కింద కేసు నమోదు చేశారు.

ప్రస్తుతం రాజ్ కుంద్రాపై భారతీయ శిక్షాస్మృతిలోని 420 (మోసం) 34 (సాధారణ ఉద్దేశం) 292 మరియు 293 (అశ్లీల మరియు అసభ్య ప్రకటనలు మరియు ప్రదర్శనలకు సంబంధించినవి) ఐటి చట్టంలోని 67 67 ఎ సెక్షన్లు.. మహిళల అసభ్య ప్రాతినిధ్యం కింద కేసు నమోదు చేశారు.
ఇక ఐటీయాక్ట్2000కు వ్యతిరేకంగా.. అశ్లీల వీడియోలు ప్రమోట్ చేసినా.. కంటెంట్ అప్ లోడ్ చేసినా.. డౌన్ లోడ్ చేసుకున్నా కానీ చట్టరీత్యా శిక్షార్హులు. దీని ప్రకారం మూడేళ్ల జైలు శిక్ష గానీ లేదా ఐదు లక్షల జరిమానా కానీ లేదా ఈ రెండింటిని కలిపి విధించడానికి అవకాశం ఉంది.
ఇప్పటికే దేశంలో పోర్న్ వెబ్ సైట్లపై నిషేధం ఉంది. భారత ప్రభుత్వం దేశవ్యాప్తంగా దాదాపు 900కు పైగా పోర్న్ వెబ్ సైట్లను నిషేధించింది. టెలీ కమ్యూనికేషన్ డిపార్ట్ మెంట్ తో కలిసి ఇలాంటి పోర్న్ సైట్లను కట్టడి చేస్తోంది. చట్టాలను ఉల్లంఘిస్తే కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోంది.
రాజ్ కుంద్రా అరెస్ట్ కావడం.. కేసు తీవ్రత దృష్ట్యా ఆరోపణలు నిరూపితమైతే ఆయనకు గట్టి శిక్ష పడే అవకాశం కనిపిస్తోంది. రాజ్ కుంద్రా పలువురు మోడల్ సినీ తారలను అశ్లీల వీడియోలు చేయాల్సిందిగా ఒత్తిడి చేసినట్లు పలువురు నటీమణులు ఆయనపై ఫిర్యాదు చేశారు. దీంతో రాజ్ కుంద్రాపై తీవ్రమైన సెక్షన్లతో కేసులు నమోదయ్యాయి. ఒకవేళ కేసులు నిరూపిస్తే కఠిన శిక్షను రాజ్ కుంద్రా ఎదుర్కోవాల్సి వస్తుందని సినీ వర్గాల్లో అభిప్రాయం వ్యక్తమవుతోంది. కనీసం 3-5 ఏళ్ల జైలు శిక్ష పడవచ్చని అంటున్నారు.
మొత్తంగా రాజ్ కుంద్రా ఈ కేసులతో పీకల్లోతు కష్టాల్లో కూరుకుపోయినట్టేనని కనిపిస్తోంది.
Centre’s reply on funds leaves Bandi red-faced
HYDERABAD: BJP state president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar found himself in an awkward situation on Tuesday, when the Centre informed him that devolutions to Telangana had declined in the last two years. The Parliamentarian asked the Ministry of Finance to provide information whether the State government had spent funds allocated under the 14th and 15th Finance Commission as per the directions of the Union government and if not, the penal action taken or considered to be taken in this regard.
The reply, that there was a decline in devolutions, was obviously not what the MP was hoping for and raked in sharp criticism on Twitter by TRS supporters.
No penal action
Replying to Sanjay’s question, the Finance Ministry said that the devolution of funds under States’ share of net proceeds of taxes are as per Article 280 of the Constitution and the Central government has not given any directions to the State government of Telangana at the time of devolution. It added that the question of taking penal action doesn’t arise.
The data provided by the Union Finance Ministry showed that the share of devolution of funds has been decreased from Rs 15,987.59 crore in 2019-20 to Rs 12,691.62 crore in 2020-21. The current fiscal year too showed less devolution of funds when compared to 2019-2020 at Rs 13,990.13 crore. In the financial year 2018-19, the share of Telangana devolution of funds was Rs 18,560.88 crore.
‘PMGSY HALTED AS TS’ SHARE NOT RELEASED’
No work was taken up in the State for the construction of 2,336.99-km roads in 2020-21, as the State government had not released its share to the account of State nodal agencies to the tune of `122.81 crore under the PMGSY and `106.28 crore under the RCPLWEA, said the Central government in Lok Sabha on Tuesday
Nithiin locks Krithi Shetty for his next
Krithi Shetty shot to fame with Uppena and the 17-year-old actress is on a signing spree now. She has lined up biggies like RAPO19, Nagarjuna, and Naga Chaitanya’s Bangarraju, and Shyam Singha Roy which are in various stages of production.
If reports are to go by, Krithi has apparently locked another biggie and she will be pairing with Nithiin this time around.
As we had reported earlier, Nithiin is collaborating with noted editor SR Sekhar for the latter’s debut directorial. This project will be officially announced very soon and Nithiin’s home banner Sresht Movies will be bankrolling it.
Apparently, the makers have roped in Krithi Shetty for the lady lead role in this as-yet-untitled film. They are said to have paid Krithi a whopping remuneration to bring her on board. An official announcement on the same is due though.
Nithiin is currently awaiting the release of Maestro which will reportedly premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 15th August.

మహేష్ బాబు సర్కారు వారి పాట నుండి ఇకపై అయినా లీక్ లు లేకుండా చూసుకోవాలని అభిమానులు కోరుకుంటున్నారు. అభిమానులు అఫిషియల్ పోస్టర్ లు వీడియోలను కోరుకుంటారు కాని లీక్ లను అస్సలు ప్రోత్సహించరు. నిజమైన అభిమానులు.. సినీ ప్రేమికులు అయితే లీక్ వీడియోలను ఫొటోలను నెట్టింట షేర్ చేయరు. మహేష్ బాబు సర్కారు వారి పాట ఫస్ట్ లుక్ వచ్చే నెలలో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు బర్త్ డే సందర్బంగా రాబోతుంది. కనుక ఇక సర్కారు వారి పాట లీక్ ల కోసం నెట్ లో సెర్చ్ చేయనక్కర్లేదు.
Is RS Praveen Kumar TRS party’s long-range weapon?
Intense debate is on about the future political moves of controversial IPS officer RS Praveen Kumar. Praveen Kumar opted for voluntary retirement six years before his actual superannuation and the government has readily accepted his plea and relieved him from the services. The haste in which the government relieved him from the services has now given rise to speculations about his future activities.
Though he has in his resignation letter said that he would walk in the path of social justice as enunciated by Phule and Ambedkar, it is highly unlikely that he would start a new political outfit and try his luck in electoral politics. There is also a talk of his joining Aam Admi Party and form a broad Dalit-AAP alliance. But, even that seems to be improbable.
Sources say that the TRS has something up its sleeve on Praveen Kumar. If sources are to be believed, the party is likely to use him for a long-time plan. If he is pitted against Eatala at Huzurabad, his brand will lose its sheen regardless of whether he wins or loses. If he fails, his political career gets doomed. Assuming he wins and doesn’t do much as an MLA, the sheen will be off him. Both ways, Praveen Kumar as a weapon gets blunted.
The TRS feels that he should be used as part of a long-term strategy. Sources say that he would be encouraged to take up a padayatra on Dalit issues from Alampur, his home turf, to Adilabad. He would be made popular and an image of a crusader. Later he would be given party ticket to contest from Alampur and the TRS will use his image to project itself as a pro-Dalit party. This will help in polarising Dalit votes in its favour. The action plan, according to sources, would be implemented soon.

RRR promotions are in full swing now. The makers had recently unveiled a making video with the title Roar of RRR and it is clocking record number of views.
As we had reported earlier, team RRR is looking to up the ante further by releasing a new promotional song. MM Keeravani has already started working on this song. Bollywood musician Amit Trivedi crooned for a version of the song yesterday.
The latest news is that Tamil music composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander is set to lend his vocals for RRR’s promotional song. He will soon be crooning the song.
Apart from singing, Anirudh will also be seen on the dance floor in the promotional video. The makers are planning to win the attention of every section of the audiences with this promotional song and they are leaving no stone unturned to attain the same.
RRR is slated for worldwide theatrical release on 13th October this year.

Market rates last revised a year before Telangana formation
HYDERABAD: The ‘guidelines market value’ also known as ‘basic value’ for registration was last revised in 2013, before the formation of Telangana. Chief Secretart Somesh Kumar said during the nascent years of the State, in order to stabilise and augment growth in various sectors, the values were not revised.
Now, an elaborate and detailed exercise has been carried out for revision of the basic value, he said. The exercise has been done in accordance with Telangana Revision of Market Value Guidelines Rules, the CS added. Even after the revision, the stamp duty rates in the State are among the lowest in the country. In the neighbouring States, the duty rates are much higher.
However, registration is expensive in villages, where 2 per cent registration fee will be collected. As there is no provision for collecting stamp duty of 1.5 per cent in Panchayats, the government has enhanced the registration fee here through GO 60.
Rana: I have changed a lot after marriage
Rana Daggubati is eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Virata Parvam. While a few say the film is heading for direct to digital release on Netflix, others say the film will definitely release in theaters.
In a candid interview, Rana opened up about his personal life and also spoke about his upcoming projects.
“I certainly have changed a lot after marriage and it is natural for anyone to go through such changes after entering the wedlock. I feel I am more responsible now,” he said.
Adding further, Rana says he, Venkatesh and Abhiram are planning a Daggubati multi-starrer and adds that the film will hit the floors very soon.
“I too am disappointed that Narappa released on OTT. I felt the film would have made for a great watch had it released in theaters,” he said.
When asked about RRR, Rana said he really liked Ram Charan’s teaser which was released last year. The Baahubali actor says he is eagerly waiting for RRR’s release.
