థియేటర్ల విషయంలో కనీస బాధ్యత లేకుండా సురేష్ బాబు వ్యవహరించాడు అంటూ వస్తున్న వార్తలపై ఆయన స్పందించాడు. ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న పరిస్థితుల్లో థియేటర్లకు జనాలను రప్పించే ప్రయత్నం చేయడం ఖచ్చితంగా బాధ్యతారాహిత్యం అవుతుంది. అందుకే తప్పని సరి పరిస్థితుల్లో తాము ఓటీటీకి వెళ్లాల్సి వస్తుంది అంటూ ఈ సందర్బంగా సురేష్ బాబు అన్నాడు. కరోనా కేసులు ఈ స్థాయిలో పెరుగుతున్నా కూడా థియేటర్లు నడిపించాలనుకోవడం కరెక్ట్ కాదని కూడా అన్నాడు. పరిస్థితులు అన్ని చక్క బడ్డ తర్వాత ఖచ్చితంగా మళ్లీ థియేటర్లకు మంచి రోజులు వస్తాయనే అభిప్రాయంను వ్యక్తం చేశాడు.

She is the rising star of the Congress. Along with Revanth Reddy, she is being touted as the leader of Next in the Congress. Known for her hardworking nature, she is popular for touring her constituency widely. But, till now, she was only confined to her constituency. She has never moved beyond her constituency. But, now this woman leader is slowly spreading her wings across North Telangana.
Yes. We are talking about Mulug MLA Sitakka Anasuya. Sitakka’s known Naxal background and her familiarity with the terrain have helped in building an aura around her. She has also carefully cultivated her image by pushing through clips of her visits to the interior forest villages and her service activities among the downtrodden sections. But, despite all these publicity outreaches, she has largely confined herself to Mulugu.
But now with Revanth Reddy’s appointment as the TPCC chief, the time for take-off has come. She is now dreaming of emerging as the unquestioned leader of North Telangana. Now that seniors like Jeevan Reddy are on their way out, she has only leaders like Ponnam Prabhakar and Sridhar Babu to compete with. Both the leaders are confined largely to their respective constituencies.
Sitakka is now trying to expand her sphere of influence to the whole coal belt in North Telangana. She is now likely to be given the charge of winning the coal belt union election. Coal Belt influences several constituencies in Mandamarri, Bhupalpalli, Ramagundam, Kothagudem, Illendu,Manuguru, Godavarikhani and Kothagudem. The influence also extends to Chennur and Bellampalli areas. With the union elections approaching, she is likely to be given the task of winning the elections.
With this, her leadership will extend to the whole of the North Telangana districts. Her profile will also get highlighted. By latching on to the Revanth Reddy bandwagon, she wants to outgrow Mulug and expand to the whole of North Telangana. She is likely to emerge as a key player in the days to come, say analysts.
Unexpected Hurdle Causing New Headache for Sukumar
Ace filmmaker Sukumar is presently focused on Pushpa, his maiden pan-India project. The Allu Arjun starrer will be made in two parts and the shooting for the first instalment commenced earlier this month. The makers planned to complete bulk of the shooting with this schedule but an unexpected hurdle is causing them a new headache.
Prior to the commencement of the ongoing schedule, Sukumar planned to complete majority of the shoot with this 45-day long schedule. But the sudden torrential rains have upset his plans. The shoot has been postponed indefinitely due to the unexpected rainfall in Hyderabad. The downpour has damaged a specially assembled set and Pushpa unit is left with no other option but to postpone their plans at least for the time being. The schedule will resume only after the sets are restored. As it appears, the final schedule of Pushpa might take over 2 months as opposed to the initial plan to complete it in under 45 days.
Sukumar planned to take his immediate next project onto the floors after completing Pushpa part 1. But he is being forced to change his plans due to the delay in Pushpa shoot. He will first have to complete Pushpa before working on another project. He planned to take his next with Vijay Deverakonda onto the floors after completing Pushpa part 1, however he is having to forfeit his plans for now.
Sukumar now plans to resume Pushpa shoot by early August and wrap up the remaining portion at a stretch. This would ultimately mean that the first instalment of Pushpa will certainly not make it to theaters this year. The final call on the release date will be taken only after the shoot nears completion. It is known that the forest based action thriller stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, and Fahadh Faasil in the lead role. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling the project.

Jagan gives major shock to Roja..?
Roja is one of the most prominent and active members of the YSRCP and is often referred to as the firebrand of the party. Apart from the time that the state suffered due to the coronavirus pandemic, and a short while due to her personal reasons, Roja has always been very proactive in party affairs, and in all other political matters pertaining to the YSRCP.
Roja thought that she would be given a Ministerial post, or at least be incorporated into Chief Minister Jagan’s cabinet, after the 2019 elections. However, she got a shock after Jagan didn’t take her into the cabinet, due to various political and other reasons. Roja was limited to being just an MLA and was then made the chairman of AICC, in an attempt of consolation.
Now, the Jagan government has given a major shock to Roja, by appointing Mettu Govardhan Reddy as the Chairman of the AICC. Not just Roja, but other MLAs such as MLA Jakkampudi Raja and MLA Malladi Vishnu, who have now been limited to being just MLAs. Sources say that the CM took this decision to completely get rid of the dual posts system. This is now causing a major state of dissatisfaction for members of the YSRCP because they weren’t informed prior to this decision.
It is begin said that all of these MLAs would have been a lot happier if Jagan informed them in advance so that they would have gotten the chance to resign from their posts on their own, with a lot of dignity. With so much dissatisfaction caused due to the CM’s sudden decision, it is now to be seen what will happen.
Members of Film Chamber meet Minister with special requests
We already reported that the Telangana government permitted single-screen cinema theatres and multiplexes across the state to screen movies with 100 percent occupancy.
Now, the members of the Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce have met Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and submitted a memorandum urging the state to look into their post-pandemic requests.
In their memorandum, the members of the Film Chamber asked the government to allow nominal parking fees in theatres as the revenue out of the parking charges has been the pillar strength for cinema halls for the last many decades. They urged the state to waive off the minimum demand charges by the electricity department. They also demanded a relaxation of Municipal/property tax for 2 years as well as asking a reduction in State Goods & Service Tax for the survival of cinema.
Kishore Babu, Sunil Narang, Abhishek Nama, Anupamreddy, Sadanand Goud and Govinder raj, who met the minister requested to look at the exhibitors’ problems sympathetically and prevent theatre business from losses.

Big Blow: CM Jagan removes Roja as APIIC Chairman
The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced the fulfilment of the nominated posts in the state on Saturday.
The announcement came as a big shock to actress-turned-politician Nagari MLA Roja, as she was removed from the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (APIIC) chairman post.
This news has added fuel to the reports that Roja has been sidelined in the party. The reports which claim that YSRCP has been taking Roja lightly emerged when Jagan did not take her in the Cabinet list.
However, the YSRCP made her APIIC chairman, which deals with providing infrastructure. Now removing her from the post has left Roja and her followers in a deep shock.
It is also said that, Roja might get a Cabinet post in the second part of Jagan government’s tenure.Before announcing his cabinet, Jagan said after two and a half years, his cabinet will be reshuffled with new members.
As part of this, Roja is likely to get a Cabinet post in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Cabinet. However, there is no official confirmation on this.The Andhra Pradesh government has named Mettu Govardhan Reddy as the new APIIC Chairman. He will be replacing Roja as Chairman.
Jani Master comes onboard for Ram Charan-Shankar’s film
Mega Powerstar Ram Charan and director Shankar’s upcoming film, tentatively titled RC15, has been in the news for many reasons.
Now, the latest update is that star choreographer Jani has been roped into the project as the main choreographer.
Jani, who is famous for giving classy dance steps, has delivered many dance numbers in Telugu and Tamil. After working with Thalapathy Vijay in ‘Master’, the ace dance master has been roped in for Vijay’s ‘Beast’ as well.
Taking to social media, the talented choreographer has recollected his journey from being a backup dancer in director Shankar’s 2003 film ‘Boys’ and now being the main choreographer in his next film with Ram Charan.
‘RC15’ is the 15th outing for Ram Charan and it marks Dil Raju’s 50th production venture. The film will go on floors soon.

Dharmana Krishna Das fumes at authorities for placing pictures of his brother at an event
YSRCP leader Dharmana Krishna Das, who is serving as the Andhra Pradesh Revenue Minister and one of the Deputy Chief Ministers went for a program to lay a foundation for the Road construction works in Rajapudi Mandal of East Godavari district.
However, the Minister was furious at the authorities as the foundation stone that was laid at the event has a picture of former Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao instead of his picture. The event was held on Saturday to start the road construction works from Rajapudi to Bhupatipalem.
The authorities who were present at the event swung into action and painted Dharmana Krishna Das’ photo on Dharmana Prasad Rao’s photo.
The pictures and videos of the event where the authorities have made the Minister wait to get the picture right have gone viral on social media.
Besides the YSRCP cadre, the netizens have also found fault with the mistake by the authorities. However, a section of netizens have defended the authorities saying that they might have got confused over the names as the two leaders have the same surname and the mistake was unintentional.
The Minister was not happy with the way the authorities arranged things there and slammed them over the arrangements. The other leaders and people present were also left stunned with the errors.
YSRCP party leaders were also shocked with what happened at the event and found fault with the authorities over their negligence concerning the event.
Dharmana Krishna Das, who also holds the post of the YSRCP in-charge for the East Godavari district has been touring in the district and taking part in the developmental programs.
As part of this, he went to lay the foundation for the works, but got stunned by seeing his brother’s picture there.
The authorities have rectified their mistake and arranged a picture of Dharmana Krishna Das by painting his portrait on his brother’s picture.
Dharmana Prasad Rao, who is currently serving as the Srikakulam MLA held key positions in the Cabinets of previous Chief Ministers of the combined Andhra Pradesh like Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy, Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy and Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy aka YSR.
Devi Sri Prasad keeps his promise to Minister KTR
Tollywood’s top music composer Devi Sri Prasad has kept his promise to Telangana IT Minister KTR by giving an opportunity to a rural singer from Telangana state.
A couple of weeks ago, the IT Minister lauded a young girl’s talent. When someone shared a video of the girl singing Relare Relare, KTR noticed it and wrote, “Talent indeed.” He tagged composers, Thaman S and Devi Sri Prasad, asking them to look at the video.
DSP had then assured her that he will expose her talent on a TV show. On Friday, the ace music director shared photos of the girl singing on stage and captioned, “I kept up my promise Dear @KTRTRS sir. Located d Talented singer #SHARVANI from NARAINGI,MEDAK..dat U tweeted about… We Flew her down 2 CHENNAI n featured her in d #LIMELIGHT ROUND of our #StarToRockstar. She Rocked.
