Jagan gives Byreddy Siddharth Reddy an important post
Byreddy Siddharth Reddy has been given an important post by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the nominated posts that were announced on Saturday. Byreddy is the Youth Leader of the YSRCP in AP and has been appointed as the AP sports authority by Jagan now. Byreddy played an important role in the 2019 elections, in the Nandikotkur constituency, but there were reports that all was not well between him and MLA Arthur, and even Kurnool district in charge, Minister Anil Kumar Yadav, confirmed the same.
Back then, Jagan promised Byreddy that he would be given an important post, and Jagan has now kept his word. Post the announcement, Byreddy’s fans and followers fired firecrackers and celebrated near Byreddy’s house.

Juicy update on Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata
We already reported that Superstar Mahesh Babu has resumed the shooting of his much-awaited film Sarakaru Vaari Paata. The Parasuram directorial is currently going at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. The action drama has been getting a lot of attention since its inception.
Now, the latest update we hear is the makers are canning important scenes of Mahesh Babu on bank backdrop in this current schedule. Along with that, some hilarious scenes between veteran actors Tanikella Bharani and Posani Krishna Murali are planned in this ongoing schedule.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata has completed its first schedule in Dubai and the team has begun a new shooting schedule in Hyderabad. As per reports, important scenes with the lead cast would be shot in this schedule.
Keerthy Suresh is the female lead. SS Thaman has been roped in to compose the music, while the cinematography is being handled by R. Madhi. The film is slated for release in 2022 Sankranthi.
Jagan’s favourite IAS officer’s wings clipped
An internecine war of sorts appears to be going on within the civil servants in Amaravati . The powers of Pravin Prakash, the IAS officer who is considered to be the eyes and ears of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has been downsized in a significant administrative change.
Praveen Prakash is known to be all powerful and his writ runs large in AP administrative circles. Several IAS officers have expressed their displeasure at the influence of Praveen Prakash. In fact, he is the hottest topic of discussion whenever a handful of IAS officials or politicians get together. However, of late, there seems to be a clear attempt to cut him to size.
In a significant administrative reshuffle, Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das has clubbed both Stamps and registrations and commercial taxes departments and included them under the finance ministry. Till now, they were under the revenue ministry. This has significantly reduced the influence of Praveen Prakash. Interestingly, this change has happened without the knowledge of Praveen Prakash.
In another move, CS Aditya Nath Das has also taken away the General Administration department from Praveen Prakash. Till now, he was holding both GAD as well as the CM’s secretary posts. With the GAD gone, Praveen Prakash’s influence on the IAS officers and the general administration is considerably weakened. Sources also say that all is not well between the Chief Secretary and Praveen Prakash.
Krishnam Raju to take final decision on MAA elections..?
The Movie Artists Association (MAA) election is staying in the headlines lately for taking a new turn each passing day. Now, the reports suggest that the final decision on when the elections would be held is left to MAA disciplinary committee president Krishnam Raju. On the other hand, some bigwigs have intensified their efforts to prevent further escalation of the conflict.
It is known that a disciplinary committee chaired by Krishnam Raju was set up in 2019 to resolve disputes between members of ‘MAA’ and ensure the smooth running of programs. Chiranjeevi, Murali Mohan, Jayasudha and Mohan Babu are members of it. This committee was said to be the final arbiter in resolving disputes that arise in MAA. Even the executive committee of MAA agreed to this.
However, Chiranjeevi resigned from the disciplinary committee about four months ago. But other members have not yet accepted the actor’s resignation.
The term of the current ‘MAA’ Executive Committee ended in March this year. However, the election was postponed due to Covid. In this regard, some members wrote letters to MAA president to know when the elections would be held.
According to reports, the letters were sent to Krishnam Raju. Sources said the veteran actor had asked the other four members to take a collective decision on the ongoing issue. He is expected to announce his final decision after getting responses from them. More details will be out soon.

We will not keep silent if Telangana interests are violated: KCR!
As the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments are involved in a major face-off over the water sharing disputes and accusing each other in this regard,the Centre has issued a Gazette Notification on Friday.
A day after the Ministry of Jal Shakti notified a gazette notification on the jurisdiction of the water boards, Telangana Chief Minister KCR spoke about the notification.
Media reports claim that KCR said, we will not remain silent if the interests and rights of Telangana state are violated. Engineers, legal experts and others are studying the notification.
If the River Boards were notified against the inspiration of the Constitution and bifurcation act, they should be opposed on all stages including the Parliament.
It is also reported that KCR rubbished the reports of Telangana drawing more water than the allocated level and said, not a single drop of water was used by the state more than the allocated level.
In the Gazette notification, the Centre notified the jurisdiction of the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) and Godavari River Management Board (GRMB) All the projects in both states will come under the purview of the Centre.
To see that no issues arise the members of the respective River Boards, chairman, member-secretary, members and chief engineers will not be appointed from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Prabhas To Take Care Of ‘Radhe Shyam’ Now!
Pan-Indian hero Prabhas has released ‘Baahubali 2’ four years back and all we’ve had is just one film from him since then. His action drama ‘Saaho’ released in 2019 and it received a mixed response. It was a high-budget film that took a lot of time in the making and Prabhas planned to release his next film quickly but pandemic came in the way.
He accepted a lot of films like ‘Radhe Shyam’, ‘Salaar’, ‘Adipurush’ and Nag Ashwin’s project but all of them are in the making. ‘Radhe Shyam’ is being produced by UV Creations and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. The film is a romantic drama set in a period backdrop. There was a small portion left to shoot before the second lockdown came.
Also, the film’s heroine Pooja Hegde tested positive for the virus and recovered from it a few weeks ago. Now, the shooting has finally begun and Pooja Hegde made it official that she re-joined the shoot of ‘Radhe Shyam’. While the last leg of production has begun, people are unsure if Prabhas has joined the team or not. The latest update says that he will be joining the entire crew from 23rd July.
News is that Prabhas has two weeks of shooting left and the star hero will be completing his part at one ago without any interruptions. Reportedly, he is expected to wrap up the work by August 5th and then move on to his other commitments. The post-production works will be beginning shortly after that and the team are doing all they can to make the film ready by September.
Considering the present situation, the team of ‘Radhe Shyam’ is taking notice of all the things before finalizing a release date. If things went as planned, the film would’ve been released on 30th July but the second wave postponed the shooting. ‘Radhe Shyam’ is Radha Krishna Kumar’s second film after Gopichand’s ‘Jil’ which was released back in 2015. Rumours say that ‘Radhe Shyam’ is going to be a story about reincarnation and a lot of portions were shot in Italy. Prabhas will be playing the role of Vikram Aditya while Pooja Hegde will be seen as Prerna. The posters and short glimpse gave a positive vibe about this romantic drama and it is to be seen how this film is going to be once it hits the big screens.

YS Jagan’s decision deals deathly blow to KCR’s Kaleshwaram dreams
AP CM YS Jagan’s decision to ask the Centre to take over the management and control of the major and medium irrigation projects is sending ripples across Telangana. Now with the Central Government taking over the projects on Krishna and Godavari, Kaleshwaram, the prestigious project of KCR on Godavari river is facing severe threat.
It now turns out that the project did not have permission for drawing 1 TMC from Godavari river. The latest notification issued by the Central Government’s Jal Shakti Mantralay says that as many as 26 projects in Telangana, including the Kaleswaram project, do not have permission from the Central Government. Also, the excessive importance attached to Kaleshwaram and the attempts to project it as the biggest achievement in Telangana too seems to have become counter-productive.
The engineers and irrigation experts have been suggesting that the T government mainly focus first on Dindi, Palamuru-Rangareddy and other projects on Krishna river before the jurisdiction of the Krishna water management board was finalized.
But, KCR government focused more on Kaleshwaram and ignored them. Now these projects on Krishna river are in danger, say experts.
The experts say that even the Alampur project is now in jeopardy as the Centre will now control almost everything related to irrigation in both the states. Most of the lift irrigation schemes in both the states did not have permissions.
Now, the fate of all these will be decided by the Central Governments and both the states have no power. Experts say that KCR’s high handed attitude has forced Jagan’s hand and he requested the Central Government to take control of the irrigation projects on both Krishna and Godavari rivers.
