కోలీవుడ్ సూపర్ స్టార్ ధనుష్ ఈ ఏడాది ‘కర్ణన్’ ‘జగమే తంత్రం’ సినిమాలను ప్రేక్షకులకు ముందుకు తీసుకురావడమే కాకుండా మరో ఐదు ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ లైన్ లో పెట్టారు. ఇప్పటికే ‘అత్రాంగి రే’ అనే హిందీ మూవీతో పాటుగా ‘ది గ్రే మ్యాన్’ అనే హాలీవుడ్ మూవీ షూటింగ్ పూర్తి చేశాడు. ప్రస్తుతం కార్తీక్ నరేన్ దర్శకత్వంలో ‘#D43’ చిత్రీకరణలో పాల్గొంటున్నాడు ధనుష్. ఇదే క్రమంలో తన సోదరుడు సెల్వరాఘవన్ దర్శకత్వంలో ‘యుగానికొక్కడు 2’.. మిత్రన్ డైరెక్షన్ లో ఓ మూవీ చేయనున్నాడు. ఇలా కోలీవుడ్ టూ హాలీవుడ్ వయా బాలీవుడ్ అంటూ బిజీబిజీగా గడుపుతున్న ధనుష్.. ఇప్పుడు స్ట్రెయిట్ తెలుగు సినిమాతో టాలీవుడ్ లో అడుగుపెటున్నారు.
టాలీవుడ్ సెన్సిబుల్ డైరెక్టర్ శేఖర్ కమ్ముల దర్శకత్వంలో ధనుష్ హీరోగా ఓ పాన్ ఇండియా మూవీకి ఇటీవలే అధికారిక ప్రకటన వచ్చింది. సోనాలి నారంగ్ సమర్పణలో శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర సినిమాస్ బ్యానర్ పై నారాయణ్ దాస్ నారంగ్ – పి.రామ్మోహన్ రావు ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించనున్నారు. తెలుగు తమిళం హిందీ భాషల్లో భారీ స్కేల్ లో ఈ చిత్రాన్ని తెరకెక్కించడానికి సన్నాహాలు చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ ఏడాదే ఈ క్రేజీ కాంబో సెట్స్ పైకి వెళ్లనున్నట్లు మేకర్స్ ప్రకటించారు. అయితే లేటెస్టుగా సితార ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్స్ బ్యానర్ లో నటించడానికి ధనుష్ గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్ ఇచ్చారని వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి. ‘తొలిప్రేమ’ ఫేమ్ వెంకీ అట్లూరి దర్శకత్వంలో ఉంటుందని టాక్. దీనికి సంబంధించిన అధికారిక ప్రకటన వస్తే ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ పై స్పష్టత వస్తుంది.
అయితే తమిళ ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ తో బిజీగా ఉన్న ధనుష్ ఈ ఏడాది తెలుగు సినిమాలు చేసే అవకాశం లేదని తెలుస్తోంది. ప్రస్తుతం చేస్తున్న ‘#D43’ ‘యుగానికొక్కడు 2’ సినిమాలు పుర్తయ్యాక తెలుగు సినిమాల వైపు అడుగులు వేయనున్నారట. 2022 లో తెలుగు ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ సెట్స్ పైకి వెళ్తుందని అంటున్నారు. శేఖర్ కమ్ముల సినిమా 2021లోనే ప్రారంభం అవుతుందని నిర్మాతలు ప్రకటించినా.. పరిస్థితులు చూస్తుంటే అది జరగడం కష్టమే అనిపిస్తోంది. ఇక సితార ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్ బ్యానర్ లో సినిమా చేసేది నిజమే అయితే వచ్చే ఏడాది మే నెల తర్వాతే ఆ సినిమా పాజిబుల్ అయ్యే ఛాన్స్ ఉంది. ఈ మధ్యలో ధనుష్ కు వేరే కథలు నచ్చి కొత్త ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ కమిట్ అయితే తెలుగు సినిమాలు మరింత లేట్ అయినా ఆశ్చర్యపోవాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు.
ఇకపోతే ధనుష్ స్ట్రెయిట్ తెలుగు సినిమాలతో ఇక్కడి ప్రేక్షకులను ఏ మేరకు అలరిస్తారో చూడాలి. చాలామంది తమిళ హీరోలు డబ్బింగ్ సినిమాలతో టాలీవుడ్ లో మంచి మార్కెట్ క్రియేట్ చేసుకున్నారు. ఈ క్రమంలో భారీ ఫ్యాన్ ఫాలోయింగ్ కూడా ఏర్పరచుకున్నారు. విజయ్ – సూర్య – విక్రమ్ – కార్తీ లతో పాటుగా ధనుష్ సినిమాలకు తెలుగులో మంచి క్రేజ్ ఉంది. శింబు – జీవా – శివకార్తికేయన్ వంటి వారు కూడా టాలీవుడ్ మార్కెట్ కోసం ఆ మధ్య ప్రయత్నాలు చేశారు. వీరిలో కొందరు మాత్రమే సఫలం అయ్యారు. అయితే స్ట్రెయిట్ తెలుగు సినిమాలతో మెప్పించిన తమిళ హీరో మాత్రం కార్తీ ఒక్కరే అని చెప్పాలి.
ఇప్పుడు విజయ్ కూడా డైరెక్ట్ తెలుగు సినిమా చేయనున్నారు. దిల్ రాజు బ్యానర్ లో ‘మహర్షి’ ఫేమ్ వంశీ పైడిపల్లి దర్శకత్వంలో విజయ్ ఓ సినిమాకి సైన్ చేశారు. త్వరలోనే ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ కు సంబంధించిన అఫిషియల్ అనౌన్స్ మెంట్ రానుంది. ఈ క్రమంలో ధనుష్ కూడా విజయ్ బాటలోనే నడుస్తున్నారు. టాలీవుడ్ ఎంట్రీ కోసం శేఖర్ కమ్ముల ను ఎంచుకున్నారు. త్వరలోనే సూర్య కూడా తెలుగు సినిమా చేయనున్నాడని టాక్ వినిపిస్తోంది. బోయపాటి శ్రీను దర్శకుడిగా సూర్య తో దిల్ రాజు ఓ ప్రాజెక్ట్ సెట్ చేస్తున్నారని అంటున్నారు. మరి కార్తీ మాదిరిగా వీళ్ళందరూ తెలుగులో సత్తా చాటుతారేమో చూడాలి.
Jagan being ignored by Modi continuously!
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan has been constantly writing letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, over one topic or another. Just last Thursday, Jagan wrote to Modi on the Krishna water usage issue between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Telangana government is using Krishna water at 100% capacity to produce hydel power, which would result in a severe water crisis for Rayalaseema.
Jagan once again wrote a letter to Modi on the same issue on Wednesday, but there hasn’t been a response from the PM on this issue, to either of these letters. Jagan wrote another letter to PM Modi in March, regarding the approval of an all-party delegation, to fight against the privatisation of the Visakha Steel Plant. There was no response to this letter either.
With so many letters going unanswered, Jagan’s position seems to be compromised, and there has been a lot of chatter about the AP CM’s letters going unanswered by the PM, in the AP political scenario.
Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Love Story’ Gearing For A July Release!
Director Sekhar Kammula who is known for his sensible films like ‘Anand’, ‘Godavari’, ‘Happy Days’ and ‘Fidaa’ is coming up with another class romantic drama titled ‘Love Story’. The film has been completed a long time ago and if Coronavirus wasn’t in the picture, this highly-anticipated film might have released in the summer of 2020 itself.
Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are playing the lead and the songs got a terrific response already. The teasers and lyrical videos brought a positive vibe to this movie and the team is waiting for the right time to release it. It would’ve released this summer if not for the second lockdown. There was a lot of talk regarding the prospect of a direct OTT release but it didn’t happen.
Sources close to the film’s unit says that the producer is looking to release the film by the end of July. Since the Telangana government has given permission to reopen the theatres with 100% occupancy and the Andhra Pradesh grand an occupancy of 50%, the makers are reportedly in no mood to wait for another couple of months since there is also a doubt of third-wave hitting the nation. While this is just a rumor, we need to wait till the official information regarding this. The audience are however waiting for some big movies to get screened in the theatres soon.

Along with 42 others, Telangana’s Kishan Reddy named in Modi’s new Cabinet
Ahead of the much-awaited elections in five states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the reshuffle of his union cabinet. This marks the cabinet expansion of the union government since the BJP made it to power for the second time.
BJP Parliamentarian from Telangana’s Secunderabad G. Kishan Reddy, who holds the Ministry of State for Home Affairs is all set to get elated and find a spot in the cabinet expansion. However, there is no information on what portfolio will be given to him.
As the cabinet expansion will have 43 names, several Ministers have resigned from their posts. Besides allotting a few posts to the ally parties, the saffron party BJP is expected to give posts to leaders keeping the election in mind.
Union Ministers like Harsh Vardhan(Health), Ravi Shankar(IT), Prakash Javadekar(Environment), Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank(Education) have resigned from their respective posts ahead of the reshuffle. However, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank is not an aspirant for the post in the new cabinet. Citing his health condition, he said, he is not expecting a cabinet post. In total, 10 Ministers resigned from their posts.

OTT platforms seem to be the ongoing trend in every aspect of the film business lately. He has been helping ‘Aha’ in coming up with good content and getting notable stars onboard. Sources say that the star producer is aiming to launch his own OTT platform now.
If the rumours are true, Dil Raju will be coming up with his own streaming service and insiders say that Ram Charan will be included as a partner in it. This means that the ‘Magadheera’ hero will be investing in the OTT market along with Dil Raju for a new OTT platform. But we’ve heard recently that Ram Charan may start an OTT platform together with his ‘RRR’ associates NTR and Rajamouli. The news claimed that all three of them will be teaming up together and come up with their own brand ‘RRR’. The OTT platform will be having the same name.
While this is still in the discussion stage, the sudden update of Ram Charan and Dil Raju teaming up for a new OTT platform is raising many eyebrows in Tollywood. Currently, people are putting their bets on who teams up with who and launches a brand new OTT platform. Will there be one or more new OTT platforms coming up in Tollywood? Janasena is formed to wipe the tears of people: Pawan Kalyan
Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan is back in action. The actor-turned-politician has toured Mangalagiri today and took part in a meeting of the Janasena Political Affairs Committee at the party headquarters there. He spoke face-to-face with people and noted down their problems.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan said that the main objective of Janasena is to wipe away the tears of the common people. He offered condolences to the families who lost their loved one’s due to Covid-19.
A bank check of Rs 5 lakh was handed over to the Somasekhar’s family of Nandyal. He later said, “In the first and second waves of the Coronavirus pandemic, millions of people died in the country. I lost a lot of soldiers, my close friends and relatives.”
Pawan paid tributes to them on behalf of the Janasena Party. He also said Janasena is working to uphold democratic values and said the party stood with the admiration of the people and activists.
