మూవీ ఆర్టిస్టు అసోషియేషన్ ఎన్నికల హడావుడి కొనసాగుతోంది. ఈసారి ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీ చేయబోతున్నట్లుగా మొదట ప్రకాష్ రాజ్ ప్రకటించాడు. ఆ తర్వాత మంచు హీరో మోహన్ బాబు తనయుడు విష్ణు కూడా మా ఎన్నికల్లో పోటీ చేయబోతున్నట్లుగా ప్రకటించాడు. వీరిద్దరి మద్య పోటీ రసవత్తరంగా ఉంటుందని భావిస్తున్న సమయంలో జీవిత రాజశేఖర్ కూడా పోటీకి సిద్దం అయ్యింది. దాంతో మంచు విష్ణు కు గెలుపు అవకాశాలు తగ్గవచ్చు అంటూ కొందరు అనుమానాలు వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.
ఈ సమయంలో జీవిత రాజశేఖర్ తో మంచు విష్ణు చర్చలు జరుపుతున్నట్లుగా తెలుస్తోంది. ప్రస్తుతం జీవిత రాజశేఖర్ జనరల్ సెక్రటరీగా ఉన్నారు. ఆమె ఈసారి అధ్యక్షురాలిగా ఎన్నిక అయ్యేందుకు పోటీ చేయబోతున్నారు. మంచు విష్ణు ఆమెను తన పానల్ లో జాయిన్ అయ్యి ఈసారి కూడా జనరల్ సెక్రటరీగా ఉండాలని.. తనకు ప్రెసిడెంట్ గా మద్దతు తెలపాలంటూ కోరుతున్నాడు. మరి ఇందుకు జీవిత రాజశేఖర్ ఒప్పుకుంటుందా అనేది చూడాలి.
Komatireddy furious over no invite for KCR’s visit
HYDERABAD: Furious for not being invited during Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s visit yet again, TRS MP from Bhongir Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Tuesday expressed his anger.
On Tuesday, the CM visited his adopted village of Vasalamarri in Turkapally mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, but the TRS MP was not invited. “KCR is colouring all government programmes pink and not inviting public representatives, except those from his own party. Are you spending money from your own pocket to develop the village?” he questioned the CM.
Earlier, the MP was allegedly also not invited when the statue of martyred soldier Col Santhosh Babu was unveiled in Suryapet. “This is the second time in the recent days that protocol was violated,” Reddy added.
Young Tiger NTR joins the shoot of RRR
After the lockdown came to an end in Telangana, the shooting of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR began on Monday in Hyderabad.
Sharing a photo with Ram Charan from the sets, Hairstylist Aalim Hakim confirmed the shoot of RRR has resumed. After RC, Young Tiger NTR has resumed the shoot today. He will be completing his pending episodes along with Ram Charan. The makers will also be shooting a song on Ram Charan and NTR in this key schedule.
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt will join the sets of RRR in July. Director Rajamouli plans to complete the entire shoot by mid-August. As of now, there is no official word on the release date.
DVV Danayya is bankrolling the project under the DVV Entertainments banner. RRR also features Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody and Ray Stevenson.
Tollywood biggies to meet AP CM YS Jagan soon
It is known that the Andhra Pradesh government has slashed down the cinema ticket fares in the state, which came as a huge shock to the Telugu film industry. Ever since the government passed this special GO, the filmmakers are in a dilemma over getting back their investments and profits as the new ticket fares may not help them make big money at the box office.
Now, it is heard that a delegation of Tollywood actors and directors are gearing up to meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to urge him to revoke the GO. They will be meeting the CM anytime soon as the theatres will be ready to open once the curfew is lifted in AP. The filmmakers have no problems with the Telangana government and it is the AP that is bothering them.
However, it was earlier heard that CM Jagan is not ready to go back on his decision on ticket fares. It remains to be seen how Tollywood convinces the AP CM regarding the issue.
Mahesh Babu unveils the title of Ashok Galla’s debut film
Superstar Mahesh Babu unveiled the title teaser of Ashok Galla’s debut film. Directed by Sriram Aditya, the film is titled, Hero. It is produced by Padmavathi Galla under Amara Raja Media & Entertainment.
The Khaleja actor has released the first look poster as well as the title teaser of the film.
The video starts with Ashok Galla chasing a moving train in a desert. The actor is seen in cowboy attire and his style catches everyone’s attention. The young actor has also seen in a much-acclaimed Joker get up and reminisced his scenes. Looks like Ashok is comfortable in giving different expressions in the 1st movie itself.
We can also have a glimpse of the leading lady, Niddhi, in the short video. The teaser also has some intense acting blocks. But the best part is the malicious smile of the lead hero in the end.
The film also has Jagapati Babu, Naresh, Satya, Archana Soundarya in supporting roles.
Nani to work at jet-speed from next month
Nani is all set to resume shooting for his upcoming projects from the first week of July. He will be shooting for the remaining portion of Shyam Singha Roy early next month and wrap up the same at a brisk pace.
Once he is done with Shyam Singha Roy, Nani will immediately take Ante Sundaraniki onto the floors. The film will be directed by Vivek Athreya and it will also feature Nazriya Nazim.
Ante Sundaraniki will also be canned in quick successive schedules without any unnecessary halts.
Nani intends to work at jet-speed post the Covid second wave period. He plans to have multiple projects lined up for release soon after cinemas are permitted to reopen and theatrical revenues are rejuvenated.

KCR spends day at adopted village, wows locals with vows of development
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s adopted village Vasalamarri in Turkapally mandal of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district is all set to witness vast changes in the coming months. The Chief Minister visited the village on Tuesday and discussed the tentative developmental plan with villagers and had a community lunch with them.
The nondescript village, having a population of 2,600, will get roads, a community hall, 2BHK houses, and other facilities. Eligible people in the village will get self-employment. Of the total population of the village, around 300 live in Hyderabad. Addressing a public meeting, the CM told the villagers that a village development committee will soon be formed to devise plans for the village and also for taking up welfare measures.
CM serves a lavish spread
The Chief Minister, before the community lunch, supervised the arrangements for serving the food. He personally visited each and every table and himself served food to some people. Over 30 dishes and fruits were served at the lunch. Later, he too sat to eat along with locals Akula Agamma and Chennur Lakshmi.
During the meal, he interacted with the two women and inquired about problems in the village. Agamma informed Rao that there were some mistakes in the land records. She said ownership of lands was incorrectly mentioned on the Dharani portal. He immediately directed the officials concerned to rectify the mistakes and to provide food security cards to the eligible people.
After Rao adopted the village in October, 2020, around 270 people from the village were sent on a study tour to the model village of Ankapur in Nizamabad district. “Now, Vasalamarri too will be developed like Ankapur. In future, people from several villages should visit Vasalamarri to study your success story,” Rao told the villagers. “I will visit the village 20 times in the coming days to make it Bangaru Vasalamarri,” Rao declared.
District Collector Pamela Satpathy will focus on the development of the village. Panchayat Raj Minister E Dayakar Rao and Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy accompanied Rao to the village.The Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 25 lakh to each of the 421 gram panchayats in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district. The six municipalities in the district too would get funds. While Bhongir would get Rs 1 crore, other municipalities would get Rs 50 lakh each.
Withdraw police cases & don’t abuse: CM to locals
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, while addressing a public meeting at Vasalamarri village, advised the villagers to live in harmony, not use abusive language and withdraw cases in police stations with mutual consent. He assured that drip irrigation would be provided to the village. The unemployed youths would be provided auto rickshaws and vans so that they can sell vegetables grown locally at Hyderabad’s markets, he announced
Rashmika Mandanna to turn busy with Pushpa
Rashmika Mandanna is all geared up to get back to work. She will be simultaneously working on multiple projects starting from next month.
The latest we hear is that Rashmika has allotted her dates for Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa.
The young Kannada beauty will be joining the sets of the Allu Arjun starrer early next month and shoot non-stop till the entire filming is complete.
Rashmika has agreed to allot bulk dates for Pushpa as the makers plan to complete the remaining shoot at a stretch.
As we had exclusively revealed a long while ago, Rashmika plays a village belle in the film. She will sport a de-glam look.
The first instalment of Pushpa will be out in theatres by the end of this year.

Big blow to Jagan from AP High court
The Andhra Pradesh High Court has taken up the withdrawal of prosecution in previously registered cases against CM Jagan as Sumoto. The AP government has withdrawn prosecution in 11 cases in Anantapur and Guntur districts. The Andhra Pradesh High Court received complaints that the cases were illegally withdrawn without the permission of the people who complained.
The AP High court ordered the committee to submit details on this. The committee which examined the complaints submitted a report to the High court. Based on the committee report, the High Court will hold a hearing on Sumoto. The issue taken up as Sumoto by the High court issued notices to the government and the rest of the people involved in the cases.
