Regina Cassandra Stuns in Soft Pink Saree, Blending Grace with Modern Edge

Actress Regina Cassandra, who continues to balance her film career alongside her presence as a popular comedy show judge, has once again captured public attention with her latest photoshoot. Draped in a soft pink floral saree, Regina exudes a serene elegance that effortlessly sets this look apart from her usual high-glam appearances.
The saree features delicate embroidery and subtle sparkles that shimmer gently under the light, adding a refined charm to the ensemble. What truly elevates the look is her corset-style blouse, which introduces a bold, contemporary twist to the otherwise traditional outfit. The result is a perfect fusion of classic ethnicity and modern fashion sensibility.
Regina has been consistently sharing fashion-forward moments on social media, but this particular look stands out for its calm sophistication and understated beauty. Fans and fashion enthusiasts alike have praised the refreshing aesthetic.
On the professional front, 2025 has already been a packed year for the actress. She has appeared in three films so far — Vidaamuyarchi, Jaat, and Kesari Chapter 2. Prabhas’ Unique Profit-Sharing Deal for Spirit

There has been widespread speculation surrounding the remuneration being offered to Prabhas for Spirit, the much-anticipated action drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. While early reports suggested that the actor was being paid a conventional fee ranging between ₹100 crore and ₹150 crore, the actual financial arrangement appears to be far more distinctive and potentially more lucrative.
Instead of a fixed salary, Prabhas has been granted complete control over the Telugu theatrical rights of Spirit across India. This means that all box office share generated from the Telugu version of the film, wherever it is screened within the country, will directly belong to him. This profit-sharing model aligns his earnings directly with the film’s performance at the box office.
Industry estimates suggest that, based on standard ticket pricing and an optimal theatrical run, the value of these Telugu theatrical rights could range between ₹180 crore and ₹200 crore. If premium pricing is implemented for special premieres, or if the film enjoys consistently high occupancy across key centres, this figure could climb even higher.
Even under average market conditions, Prabhas is expected to secure earnings close to ₹200 crore from this deal alone. Should Spirit exceed expectations at the box office, his final remuneration could reach unprecedented levels, making this one of the most notable and innovative remuneration models seen in Indian cinema in recent years.
Nara Lokesh’s US Visit Draws Massive NRI استقبال in Dallas

Andhra Pradesh IT and Industries Minister Nara Lokesh has returned to the United States on an official tour aimed at attracting fresh investment projects to the state. As part of his visit, Lokesh interacted with the NRI wing of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), where he shared an interesting and heartwarming incident that took place upon his arrival at Dallas airport.
Recounting the experience, Lokesh revealed that airport authorities initially restricted his exit through the usual arrival route after noticing an unexpectedly large crowd gathered to welcome him. “The officials informed me that over 100 people were waiting at the gate to receive me, which is quite unusual. They expressed concerns about law and order and requested me to exit through a different route,” he said. Lokesh added that the massive turnout reflected the affection and support shown by the Telugu diaspora.
This US tour is expected to be a brief but strategic one, with a strong focus on securing new investment opportunities for Andhra Pradesh. Lokesh has lined up multiple meetings with business leaders, global company representatives, and potential investors.
During his previous US visit, Lokesh successfully held high-level discussions with tech giants such as Google and Infosys, which later translated into tangible benefits for the state. With similar expectations riding on his current trip, there is significant anticipation surrounding the outcomes of his meetings this time as well.

Krithi Shetty Reveals Chilling Paranormal Experience Before ‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’ Shoot

Actress Krithi Shetty, who will be seen playing a Gypsy spirit reader in director Nalan Kumarasamy’s upcoming Tamil film Vaa Vaathiyaar, starring Karthi in the lead, has made a surprising revelation about a real-life supernatural encounter she experienced just a day before the shoot began.
In an exclusive interaction with IANS, Krithi said her role in the film carries strong mystical elements. “I play a Gypsy spirit reader. I am like a medium, basically. My character introduces the supernatural vibe into the film, which makes it very exciting. I haven’t seen too many such characters in Indian cinema,” she shared.
When asked about her belief in spirits, the actress said her faith comes from her cultural roots. “I am Tulu, and we believe in praying to our ancestors. We believe they are always around us, protecting us like guardian angels. So I definitely believe in spirits,” she said.
Krithi then went on to recount an eerie experience that strengthened her belief even further. “Something very strange happened the night before my first day of shoot. I believed I witnessed a spirit in my hotel room. I didn’t see the face, but I definitely saw the figure. When we switched on the light, there was a loud sound. My mother and I instantly knew something supernatural had happened,” she recalled.
The actress said the experience deepened her conviction while portraying her character. “Earlier, even I wouldn’t have believed in mediums or people who claim to see spirits. But after this incident, I had no choice. In a way, I feel grateful because it made my belief in my character much stronger,” she added.
Apart from Karthi and Krithi Shetty, Vaa Vaathiyaar also stars Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Anand Raj, Shilpa Manjunath, Karunakaran, G.M. Sundar, Ramesh Thilak, P.L. Thenappan, Vidhya Borgia, Nivas Adthitan and Madhur Mittal in pivotal roles. Karthi will be seen portraying a police officer, with Karunakaran as his subordinate.
The technical crew includes cinematographer George C. Williams, editor Vetre Krishnan, stunt choreographer Anal Arasu, and choreographers Sandy and Sharief. The song lyrics are penned by Vivek, Kelithee and Muthamil, while costumes are designed by Poornima Ramaswamy, Aegan Ekambaram and Pallavi Singh. The film also features three co-directors — Rams Murugan, Navakanth Rajkumaar and Sundar Venkat.
With its mix of mystery, action, and supernatural elements, Vaa Vaathiyaar is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing Tamil releases to look forward to.

Suriya Bets on Telugu and Malayalam Films for Career Revival

After facing a lean phase in his Tamil film career with a string of underperforming projects, superstar Suriya is now exploring fresh avenues across multiple film industries. In a bold move to reinvent himself, the actor has ventured into Telugu cinema for the first time, with his debut project currently under production.
Adding to this multi-language expansion, Suriya is now set to enter the Malayalam film space as well. He will be collaborating with noted director Jithu Madhavan, who shot to fame with the blockbuster Aavesham. The project becomes even more intriguing with the inclusion of popular Malayalam actors Nazriya Nazim and Naslen, promising a youthful and energetic ensemble. This strategic move reflects Suriya’s renewed focus on experimental scripts and cross-industry collaborations.
Meanwhile, trade circles are already optimistic about his upcoming Telugu project with director Venky Atluri, which is also slated for a simultaneous Tamil release. If the film clicks at the box office, it could play a crucial role in reviving Suriya’s market in Tamil Nadu. The yet-untitled Malayalam project also carries strong buzz, making the coming phase critical for the actor’s career resurgence.
However, industry observers are cautious, citing recent examples where actors like Dhanush delivered hits in Telugu and Hindi, only to see the same films underperform in Tamil. A similar outcome for Suriya could mean another setback at home. That said, with positive early buzz surrounding both projects, expectations remain high as fans await further announcements.
NTR and Prabhas Spark New Lean Look Trend

The recent cinematic buzz surrounding the physical transformations of top Telugu stars has put NTR firmly in the spotlight. The Young Tiger is currently shooting for director Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Dragon. As part of this project, NTR has adopted a noticeably leaner look, which initially drew heavy trolling and criticism on social media.
However, the trend seems to be gaining momentum, as Prabhas has now surprised fans with a similarly lean transformation during his recent visit to Japan. While the sudden change initially left fans stunned, many soon began appreciating the freshness and sharpness of his new appearance.
NTR, meanwhile, has been steadily reshaping his physique by shedding excess weight and growing out his beard for Dragon. Though the exact significance of this look remains under wraps, sources suggest that the makers are strategically crafting a major on-screen surprise. His latest public appearance, featuring a neatly trimmed beard and visibly improved physique, has been receiving positive feedback.
On the other hand, Prabhas’ fans had grown fatigued with his frequent headband look in recent outings. His latest transformation has thus come as a welcome shock. Many believe that this lean makeover is for Spirit, where he reportedly plays a powerful police officer under director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Expectations are high that the filmmaker is preparing to present Prabhas in a strikingly different avatar.
If both NTR’s and Prabhas’ new looks resonate well with audiences, this could potentially spark a new trend among star heroes, with more actors opting for leaner physiques for upcoming projects.
Akhanda 2 Release Hinges on Court Verdict Amid Financial and Piracy Concerns

The release of Akhanda 2, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Boyapati Srinu, remains uncertain, keeping the film industry on edge. With the courts observing holidays over the weekend, the next significant hearing is scheduled for Monday. A favorable decision could pave the way for a release on the 12th, while any delay or unfavorable ruling may complicate the launch.
The film has faced multiple financial hurdles. Discussions held on the 4th and 5th of this month reportedly resolved many issues verbally, though formal agreements are still pending signatures. While director Boyapati Srinu has indicated his willingness to forego a portion of his pending payment, he remains firm on not returning any amounts already disbursed. Reports suggest his total remuneration for Akhanda 2 is around ₹35 crore, with ₹25 crore already paid.
Even with a positive court ruling, approximately ₹20 crore remains to be cleared to settle all dues. Half of this may be arranged through cooperation, but the remainder poses a significant challenge. Financiers are likely to step in only after a favorable verdict; otherwise, the project risks returning to square one.
Another pressing concern is piracy. Leaks of the movie’s content have already circulated, raising the risk of substantial losses if piracy groups exploit the situation. Industry insiders believe that, given the prevailing risks, an expedited release is crucial.
All attention now turns to the court’s decision, which will ultimately determine the fate of Akhanda 2.
TG Vishwa Prasad Clears Rumours on ‘The Raja Saab’ Release

The Telugu film industry was recently shaken by the sudden postponement of Akhanda 2, a move that created uncertainty across trade circles and triggered widespread speculation about several other major releases. Among the films caught in the middle of these rumours was Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab.
Over the past few weeks, reports had surfaced claiming that The Raja Saab might not arrive during the Sankranti season, while some even hinted at financial difficulties surrounding the project. These unverified claims led to confusion among fans and industry insiders alike.
Putting an end to the speculation, producer TG Vishwa Prasad has now issued a clear and firm clarification. He stated that all external investments brought into The Raja Saab have already been cleared through internal funds. While acknowledging that some interest payments are still pending, he assured that they will be settled well before the film officially enters the business phase.
Expressing concern over the growing trend of last-minute hurdles faced by big films, Vishwa Prasad said such obstacles do not impact producers alone, but also severely affect buyers, exhibitors, technicians, and thousands of industry workers who depend on timely releases. He urged the government to introduce clear legal guidelines to prevent third-party interference at the final stages of film releases.
Sharing his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter), the producer wrote that the recent Akhanda 2 postponement deeply disturbed him and highlighted how last-minute disruptions harm the entire ecosystem of cinema. He clarified that the rumours surrounding The Raja Saab were unfortunate and reaffirmed that the film’s financial structure remains completely secure.
The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi and starring Prabhas in the lead role, is one of the most awaited big-budget entertainers of the season. The film has already generated massive buzz, and its promotional activities are currently in full swing. The makers have officially confirmed that the film will hit theatres on January 9, as a special Sankranti release.
