B-town actress Kangana Ranaut once again found herself in the middle of the headlines for the wrong reason. This time, she made derogatory comments against a great freedom fighter.
The fire-brand actress made objectionable comments against Indian freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi. She said Mahatma Gandhi was accused of being a bad parent.
In her tweet, the Queen actress opined that in some mentions Mahatma Gandhi pushed his wife out of the house after she refused to clean guest toilets manually. Gandhi was a great leader, but he may not be a great husband.
“Mahatma Gandhi was accused of being a bad parent by his own children, there are various mentions of him pushing his wife out of the house for refusing to manually clean guest toilets, he was a great leader may not a great husband but the world is forgiving when it comes to a man,” Kangana tweeted.
Kangana’s tweet came as a reply to a Twitter user, who appreciated Kangana for her tweet on Queen Elizabeth. Kangana Ranaut supported Queen Elizabeth in Meghan Markle and Harry row.
Kangana Ranaut opined that people targeted the Royal Family based on a one-sided story and said, Queen Elizabeth may not be an ideal MIL/wife/sister, but she is a great Queen.
In the reply, Kangana mentioned the example of Mahatma Gandhi and said Gandhi was a great leader and he may not be a great husband and added that the world forgives when it comes to a man.

Decision to privatise Vizag Steel Plant will not be taken back: Sunil Deodhar!
Despite the growing protests against the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant privatisation, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the centre will not take back its decision in this regard.
Now BJP national secretary Sunil V. Deodhar also reciprocated the Finnace Minister’s comments and said the government took the decision for the benefit of the country.
Deodhar was in the temple city Vijayawada today to chair a crucial meeting with the key leaders of the Andhra Pradesh wing of BJP. His meeting gained significance as it was held before the Tirupati by-polls.
After the meeting the spike to media. The government has decided to privatise the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) that are making losses. Vizag Steel Plant is also there in the list of firms the centre picked for privatisation. The steel plant is not special than others, he said.
Deodhar had accused the ruling YSRCP of illegal conversions and opined that the concerned authorities did not respond in the appropriate way when the locals complained of the cross set up in the Guntur district.

Multilingual actor Ponnambalam is asking for financial help as he is suffering from ill health and lack of money for medical expenses.
Ponnambalam is an actor who played various roles in various languages like Telugu and Tamil. It is learned that he fell ill some time ago and is undergoing medical treatment at a private hospital in Chennai.

Former BJP Veteran joins ruling TMC ahead of West Bengal polls

The BJP veteran wore the TMC shawl today at the Kolkata party office in the presence of Derek O Brien, Sudip Bandopadhyay, and Subrata Mukherjee. He met the Chief Minister before joining the TMC.
After joining the TMC formally, the 83-year-old veteran targeted the Narendra Modi government over several issues and compared the BJP ruling under the leadership of Narendra Modi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Mr. Sinha opined that under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the BJP believed in consensus, but the present BJP government is following the policy and crushing and conquering.
The veteran politician’s entry into TMC after TMC suffered faced a series of setbacks with leaders like Suvendu Adhikari, Rajib Banerjee, and several others shifting their loyalties to the saffron party BJP.
Mr. Sinha was an IAS officer of the 1960 batch who joined politics in 1984. He joined the BJP bidding goodbye to his service. He served as the Finance Minister in November 1990 for the first time in Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar’s cabinet.
Between December 1998 and July 2002, he served as the Finance Minister for the second term under PM Vajpayee. From then to May 2004, Mr. Sinha served as the Foreign Minister.

Once restored, Yadadri temple will be known for its uniqueness: KCR
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed the officials concerned to complete the construction of queue lines at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple (also known as the Yadadri temple) by April 15. He wanted the officials to complete the works within the deadline as it was being planned to reopen the temple for devotees in May.
At a review meeting with officials at BRKR Bhavan on Friday, the Chief Minister enquired about the progress of the works. He directed the officials to decorate the 350-feet long queue lines with brass designs and construct a queue line on the north side of the temple by demolishing the compound wall. He also finalised the design for the temple kalashams (metal pots) to be placed along the queue lines.
The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of the construction works of the Sivalayam and said that brass tridents should be placed on its compound walls. He said that the temple, renovated with black granite stones (Krishna Sila), would be known for its uniqueness. Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, Chief Advisor to Government Rajiv Sarma, and others were present at the meeting.

Popular filmmaker Krishna Vamsi has announced his upcoming project titled ‘Annam’, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. The director has unveiled a title poster that was designed innovatively.
The poster has bloodstains on a banana leaf whereas the letters are written with the rice grains. The pre-production work of Annam has been started.
Now, the latest buzz in the film circles is the director is in talks with Megastar Chiranjeevi to play the lead role in the film. Going by the poster, we can it is based on farmers.
Chiranjeevi has been picking some issue-based films lately. Be it Khaidi No. 150, Sye Raa or his upcoming film Acharya, all his films in his second innings are thought-provoking. So Krishna Vamsi is planning to bring Chiru on board for Annam. An official word regarding this combo is awaited.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is busy with his Acharya shooting. He also lined up Lucifer and Vedalam remakes for his next.
