Court grants Conditional bail to Telangana Poet Varavara Rao
Noted Telangana activist-poet Varavara Rao, who was arrested in connection with the Bhima Koregaon Elgar Parishad case got a sigh of relief nearly after two years of his arrest.
The Bombay High Court has granted six months conditional bail to the 81-year-old poet on Monday on the grounds of his health condition.
While granting the conditional bail to Varavara Rao, the High Court is said to have directed him that he should stay within the Special NIA Court jurisdiction and he should also indulge in any sort of activities like the case he was arrested.
After the competition of the six months of his bail period, the poet was directed by the High Court to report back to Navi Mumbai’s Taloja jail. The poet can either surrender to the prison or request an extension.
According to the media reports, the High Court bench comprising Justices SS Shinde and Manish Pitale said, they have granted the bail with human considerations and the poet deserves to get relief.
The poet was asked to deposit a personal bond of Rs 50,000 along with two sureties. He was also barred to contact the co-accused in the case and people who are accused of taking part in similar activities.
Varavara Rao and a few other activists were arrested back in 2018 on the grounds of alleged links with Maoists. On the allegations of making inflammatory speeches at the ‘Elgar Parishad’ conclave.
The police claimed that the conclave resulted in violence near the Koregaon-Bhima war memorial. The Pune Police has probed the case initially and NIA took over the case later.

Starting from his hair to eyebrows and mustache, every inch of Bunny’s look is monitored carefully and the star hero himself is pushing people around to give the best they can. The shooting is going on a Tenkasi at Tamil Nadu right now and the film is slated to hit the screens on 13th August. Rashmika is the heroine in this flick which is based on the red sanders smuggling backdrop in Nallamala forests. Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for this flick while Sukumar is its director.
Business Returning To Normal In Overseas For Tollywood!
The majorly affected area for our Tollywood due to the pandemic and lockdown is definitely the overseas market. It used to be one of the biggest money-spinners for our films and it took a severe beating. A couple of films that released post lockdown including the Sankranti outings failed to perform abroad which raised a lot of concerns.
But it looks like things are returning back to normal once again. Considering the circumstances, ‘Uppena’ did exceedingly well in the US arena and some good offers are being made to crazy films. Great India films which released ‘Uppena’ in the US and Pride Cinemaa which bought the same film in Australia have reportedly opened the doors once again.
As per latest reports, Pride Cinemaa bagged the overseas rights of Balayya and Boyapati’s ‘#BB3’ and they are close to signing Nani’s ‘Tuck Jagadish’ too. The same company has bought the rights of Nithiin’s March release ‘Rang De’ which is a romantic comedy and they are even releasing Nithiin’s ‘Check’ directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti which is releasing this weekend. Hope the market will be back to its full glory soon.

Nimmagadda gets the state ready for elections
AP SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar commented that the panchayat elections held in Andhra Pradesh in four phases were successful with the help of the government and the police.
Speaking to the media, he thanked everyone who contributed to the smooth running of the elections.
With the same enthusiasm, it was decided to hold municipal and corporation elections as well, calling on the employees to prepare for it and work in coordination.
Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar said that only 16 percent of the panchayat elections were unanimous and polling was held elsewhere and the results were declared.
He said the response from the people to the panchayat polls was overwhelming compared to the general assembly polls. He added that more than 80 percent of voters exercised their voting right.
Producer Dil Raju expresses confidence in ‘Gaali Sampath’s success
‘Gaali Sampath’ promotional event was held in the city yesterday where many dignitaries from film fraternity graced the ocassion.
“A big director should be part of small films to make it a big one. I am confident that ‘Gaali Sampath’ will be such a big movie,” producer Dil Raju expressed. Rajendra Prasad will play the lead role as the father of the hero that would remain as a special character. Sri Vishnu and Lovely Singh star as the hero and heroines in the film
Under Anil Ravipudi’s screen play and supervision ‘Gaali Sampath’ is directed by Aneesh wherein Produced by S. Krishna. He is the Co- director, writer and friend of Anil Ravipudi who bankrolled the film under newly launched Image spark entertainments along with Harish Peddi and Sahu Garapati’s Shine screens banner. The flick is all set to release on March 11.
Gaali Sampath (played by Rajendra Prasad) suffers a throat problem where only air comes out and he will not be able to speak. In this movie, Rajendra Prasad speaks in a language that sounds like ‘Fi Fi’ and a song too under that name was released few days ago by actor Nani.
“There are good emotions along with entertainment and would surely lovely by all,” said Anish. “Galisampath, which started as a small film, is going to be released as a big film with the arrival of Anil Ravipudi,” said Sahu Garapati and S. Krishna.
Exclusive: Not with the Uppena director, Jr NTR’s Next is with Trivikram
For the past few days, there were reports that Young tiger Jr NTR will be collaborating with Uppena director Buchi Babu Sana for his next film.
The reports suggested this combo will go on floors once the actor wraps up his part in Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’, which means even before Trivikram‘s project.
However, these speculations are not true. A source close to NTR’s team revealed that the actor will do the Trivikram’s film first as per the schedule. As per reports, Trivikram finished the script work and is waiting for NTR to join the sets.
Meanwhile, there is no official announcement on Buchi Babu Sana’s film with Jr NTR. As per reports, the director has pitched the storyline and fascinated by it, NTR has asked Buchi Babu to develop it further. If NTR gives a nod for this project, Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll it.

Ganta: Pawan should lead protests against steel plant privatisation
Speaking to the media recently, TDP member Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that every single party in Andhra Pradesh is protesting against the privatisation of the Visakha Steel Plant in one way or another, except the Andhra Pradesh BJP, which is making strange statements.
Members of the AP BJP recently went to Delhi to speak to the leaders of the BJP, about the privatisation of the Visakha Steel Plant and returned three days later. After returning, members oft he AP BJP have started to say that no final decision on privatising the steel plant has yet been taken and that discussions about it are still going on.
Ganta said that Jagan and Chandrababu wrote letters to the PM on the issue, and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan even went to Delhi to discuss the issue. Ganta said that the lack of action on the BJP’s part will throw them into big trouble, as the public would lose their faith in the party.
On the other hand, Ganta also said that Jana Sena should pressure the AP BJP to fight against the privatisation of the Visakha Steel Plant, as both the parties are allies. Ganta also said that Pawan should lead the protest against the privatisation of the steel plant.
Furthermore, Ganta said that the Visakha Steel Plant belongs to the people of the state, as the steel plant has been built on the protests that people have carried out for it, and the kind of relationship that people have shared with the plant, ever since its establishment.

Exclusive: Ravi Teja’s double dhamaka in RT68
Ravi Teja is set to collaborate with Trinadha Rao Nakkina for his next project, tentatively titled RT68. The project was officially announced yesterday and it will be hitting the floors after Ravi Teja is done with his ongoing project Khiladi.
The latest we hear is that RT68 will have a unique plot and Ravi Teja will play dual roles in it.
Ravi Teja will be playing the roles of a father and a son in the Trinadha Rao Nakkina directorial. He will be seen as a lawyer in one of these two roles.
The last time Ravi Teja played dual roles was in Raja The Great, and he will be emulating a similar feat again in RT68. He is set to provide double dhamaka for his fans and followers in dual roles.
Bezawada Prasanna Kumar is providing the story and screenplay for this as-yet-untitled commercial potboiler.
TG Vishwa Prasad, and Abhishek Agarwal are jointly producing the project.
