రష్మిక మందన్నా ప్రస్తుతం టాలీవుడ్ తో పాటు తమిళం, హిందీ, కన్నడం లో కూడా సినిమాలు చేస్తుంది. ప్రస్తుతం ఈమె చేతిలో నాలుగు అయిదు పెద్ద సినిమాలు ఉన్నాయి. దాంతో షూటింగ్ లకు బ్రేక్ తీసుకోలేని పరిస్థితి నెలకొంది. అందుకే ఆమె నటించిన ‘పొగరు’ సినిమా రేపు విడుదల కాబోతున్న కూడా కనీసం ప్రచారం చేయలేక పోతుంది. పొగరు సినిమాలో యాక్షన్ స్టార్ అర్జున్ మేనల్లుడు ధృవ హీరోగా నటించాడు. కన్నడంతో పాటు తెలుగులో కూడా ఈ సినిమా విడుదల కాబోతున్న విషయం తెల్సిందే.
పొగరు సినిమా షూటింగ్ లో రష్మిక పాల్గొనక పోవడంపై పలు రకాలుగా పుకార్లు షికార్లు చేస్తున్నాయి. ధృవ చిత్ర యూనిట్ సభ్యులతో ఆమెకు విభేదాలు ఉన్నాయని అందుకే ఆమె విడుదలకు ఆసక్తి చూపడం లేదని, ప్రచారంలో ఆమె పాల్గొనేందుకు పెద్దగా ఇంట్రెస్ట్ చూపడం లేదు అంటూ విమర్శలు వస్తున్నాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో రష్మిక స్పందిస్తూ షూటింగ్ లతో బిజీగా ఉండటం వల్లే తాను పబ్లిసిటీ కార్యక్రమాల్లో పాల్గొనడం లేదని చెప్పుకొచ్చింది. పుష్ప సినిమాతో పాటు హిందీలో కూడా ఒక సినిమాను ఈమె చేస్తున్నది. గ్యాప్ లేకుండా ఈ రెండు సినిమాల్లో నటిస్తుంది. అందుకే పొగరు పబ్లిసిటీ కార్యక్రమాల్లో ఈమె కనిపించడం లేదు.
Huge shock to the TDP in the Kuppam constituency!!
The candidates backed by the ruling party, YCP have registered an immense majority in the third phase of the AP Panchayat elections. YCP-backed candidates carried out a clean sweep in the Palnadu area. Also, the YCP-backed candidates won a majority of seats in the Chittoor district too.
On the other hand, the result in Chandrababu’s own constituency, Kuppam has come as a shock to the TDP. In the Kuppam constituency, elections were held for a total of 89 grama panchayats, with YCP-backed candidates winning 74 seats. The TDP has won only 14 seats and the Congress won one seat. In Chittoor district, out of a total of 264 panchayats, 91 were consensus, 145 seats were won by YCP, 28 were won by Congress.
Krithi Shetty to Star in Ram Pothineni’s next with Lingusamy
Krithi Shetty, the latest sensation in Tollywood, has made heads turn with her debut film ‘Uppena’. Even before the release of her maiden film, the young beauty has signed as one of the leading ladies in Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy. She is also starring in Sudheer Babu’s romantic entertainer with Mohan Krishna Indraganti.
The latest we hear is Krithi is under consideration for Ram Pothineni’s next with Lingusamy. Ram’s new film with director Lingusamy was announced on Thursday.
This yet-to-be-titled project marks their first-time collaboration. Produced by Srinivasaa Chhitturi, the film will be made under his Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner.
The director is planning to rope the Uppena girl after witnessing her performance and screen presence in Vaishnav Tej’s debut film. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited.
Lawyers murder case: HC issued key orders to the Telangana govt
The Telangana High Court has responded to the murder of Gattu Vamanarao and his wife in the Peddapalli district. The High Court accepted the murder case. The High Court directed the government to submit a report on the murder. The High Court has directed that the investigation be completed within the stipulated time frame. The High Court ordered that evidence relating to the murder be collected. It also ordered to catch the accused in this murder case soon. The trial in the lawyers’ murder case has been adjourned to March 1.
On the other hand, a large number of lawyers from Nampally court marched to Raj Bhavan seeking severe punishment for the accused in the Vamana Rao couple murder case. However, the police obstructed them and rushed them to the Goshamahal ground.
Is Karan Johar miffed up with Kartik Aaryan?
Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan announced their first ever collaboration with Dostana 2 that stars Janhvi Kapoor in the female lead under Dharma productions. Makers completed its first schedule but the pandemic induced lockdown hammered the pending schedule.
Kartik was seen in January at KJO’s office. But soon things seem to have turned tipsy turvy. News surfaced that the actor remained incommunicado with Karan and gave no clarity about his dates for Dostana 2. It is learnt that Kartik Aaryan, as a precautionary measure decided to first finish Ram Madhvani’s film Dhamaka and this miffed up the producer.
A source disclosed that, “After a long wait Kartik gave a genuine reason of the Covid 19 pandemic to not begin shoot. He wanted to ensure safety so Karan didn’t push him much. But when he shot for Dhamaka, Karan was upset. They had an indoor meeting where Karan expressed his disappointment.”
However, other sources gave a different explanation. Kartik who is juggling multiple projects, fixed his dates to shoot Dhamaka since Bhool Bhulaiya 2 was rescheduled. “Dostana 2 shoot was planned with an overseas schedule that would be filmed in the UK. This shoot got deferred due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But still the actor assured his available dates in April for Dostana 2, the source affirmed.

Jagan Suggests Three Ideas To PM Modi To Save Vizag Steel Plant
It is known that several labour unions have been protesting in the shore city Visakhapatnam, against the privatisation of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), built with state-of-the-art technology since the past week.
YSRCP supremo, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has met the leaders of the labour unions on Wednesday. During the meeting, the Chief Minister said he wrote a letter to PM Modi.
In the letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jagan Mohan Reddy gave three suggestions to the former to rescuing the Vizag Steel Plant, Jagan told the labour union leaders.
The suggestions include the allocations of mines in Odisha to the Vizag Steel Plant that are high on iron ore reserves. The bank debt should be converted into equity and the surplus land of the plant should be sold.
Taking about bringing down the interest weightage, the Chief Minister has suggested the conversion of bank debts with high-interest rates into equity, which paves way for the reduction of debts to Rs 2,500-3,000 crore, which in turn will result in helping the steel company to retain profits.
Jagan Mohan Reddy has also suggested the proposal to earn revenue from the excess lands owned by the Vizag Steel Plant which are left abandoned. The left alone 7,000 acres out of the 20,000 acres of land could be monetized.
Adding further, the Chief Minister said, all the required permissions to monetized the surplus land owned by the VSP will be allotted by the AP government without any obstacles.
I have written a letter in this regard to the Prime Minister 10 days back and I am awaiting a response from him. I urge the leaders of the Andhra Pradesh wing of BVJP to support me in this regard, CM Jagan said.
He said that he made these suggestions to give a major boost up to the Vizag Steel Plant which enables the plant to attain profits rather than privatising the plant.
Jagan has also rubbished the rumors of Posco acquiring the VSP. He said they met him to discuss the investment plans in Kadapa, Krishnapatnam, and Bhavanapadu.

After a decent Sankranti outing like ‘RED’, energetic star Ram Pothineni has finally revealed his upcoming film. Much to the excitement of his fans, he is going to do a Telugu-Tamil bilingual under the direction of star director Lingusamy.
This film will be produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under ‘Srinivasaa Silver Screen’ banner. Lingusamy is known for his super hit films like ‘Run’, ‘Pandem Kodi’, ‘Awara’, ‘Sikander’ and others. Ram is trying to expand his market and this bilingual is sure to help his cause.
The ‘ismart’ hero is thrilled about this project as he wrote, “I’ve waited a long time for this.†This will Ram’s 19th film and it is the 6th film under Srinivasaa Chitturi’s production. Lingusamy is trying to get a hit for quite some time now and he is hoping that Ram’s film will bring back his lost form.

Chinnamma Sasikala’s Fresh Move To Claim The Political Legacy Of Amma!
Former aide of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha, expelled All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader VK Sasikala continues to raise the political temperature in Tamil Nadu.
As the latest development in Tamil Nadu politics, Sasikala’s advocate Raja Senthur Pandian has moved the city civil court, seeking directives from the court to reappoint Sasikala as the general secretary of AIADMK.
According to the Tamil media, the civil court said it will hear the suit on the 15th of March.
In the suit filed in the civil court, Sasikala said that she is the general secretary of AIADMK and she should be reinstalled in the post. She has also submitted the details of three nationalised bank accounts, which handle the party funds in the affidavit.
Right from her discharge from the Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru, Sasikala is leaving any stone unturned to claim the political legacy of Jayalalithaa, whom Sasikala often calls Akka.
While heading to a resort in Bengaluru after her discharge from the Victoria hospital, Sasikala used the AIADMK flag, which kickstarted a small size political storm in Tamil Nadu. The AIADMK slammed Sasikala for her actions, while Chinnamma backed her actions.
VK Sasikala has knocked on the doors of the city court challenging the party’s decision to sack her as the AIADMK general secretary in 2017. She also sought legal proceedings against Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, and party presidium chairman E Madhusudhanan and others in this regard.

Vaisshnav too thanked DSP for such a blockbuster album and heaped praises on Vijay Sethupathi and rest of the film’s team. He claimed that he was in two minds before taking up this subject but stated that Buchi Babu convinced him. He also thanked Charan for attending the function.
Ram Charan Tej who came in as the chief guest said, ‘Though it’s first film for hero, heroine and director, Mythri Movie Makers made Uppena as a mid-range film with huge budget. Devi Sri Prasad gave wonderful music. Vaishnav is very lucky to have DSP’s music for his first film. Vaishnav Tej appears very innocent, but there’s volcano inside him. We didn’t really surprise that Uppena became such big hit, because we know about his caliber. There’s huge support of my dad Chiranjeevi and babai Pawan Kalyan for Vaishnav Tej. Krithi Shetty acted wonderfully. She won everyone’s heart. I didn’t see such a grand welcome for a first timer. I hope she will reach many heights in her career.’
