ఇక, విశాఖ ఉక్కు పరిశ్రమను కొనుగోలు చేసేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా వుందంటూ వైసీపీ ముఖ్య నేత విజయసాయిరెడ్డి చేసిన ప్రకటనపై స్పందించిన జనసేన నేత నాదెండ్ల మనోహర్, ఆ విషయమై ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టత ఇవ్వాల్సి వుందన్నారు. ‘వైసీపీకి పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో ఎంపీలు వున్నారు.. వాళ్ళు చెయ్యాలనుకుంటే చాలా చెయ్యవచ్చు. లేఖ రాస్తే సరిపోదు. ఢిల్లీకి అఖిల పక్షాన్ని తీసుకెళ్ళేలా ముఖ్యమంత్రి చొరవ చూపాలి’ అని జనసేన అంటోంది.
అయితే, జనసేన ఢిల్లీ టూర్ సందర్భంగా ఉక్కు పరిశ్రమపై ఎలాంటి సానుకూల స్పందన వచ్చిందనుకోవడానికి వీల్లేదన్న చర్చ రాష్ట్ర రాజకీయాల్లో జరుగుతోంది. అయితే, జనసేనాని ప్రయత్నాన్ని మాత్రం రాజకీయ విశ్లేషకులు స్వాగతిస్తున్నారు. ‘నిజానికి ఈ సందర్భంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి చొరవ చూపించాలి. సుదీర్ఘ రాజకీయ అనుభవం వుందని చెప్పుకునే చంద్రబాబు వ్యూహాత్మకంగా వ్యవహరించాలి. కానీ, ఆ ఇద్దరూ రాష్ట్రానికే పరిమితమైపోతే, ఉక్కు పరిశ్రమ విషయమై రాష్ట్ర ప్రజల సెంటిమెంటుని కేంద్రం దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్ళడంలో జనసేనాని సఫలమయ్యారు..’ అన్నది రాజకీయ పరిశీలకుల భావన.
అయితే, అమరావతి విషయంలో ఎలాగైతే కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ పెద్దల నుంచి జనసేనానికి హామీ వచ్చిందో.. అలాంటి హామీనే విశాఖ ఉక్కు విషయంలో వచ్చిందిగానీ.. ఈ విషయాల్ని సదరు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ పెద్దలే అధికారికంగా ప్రకటించి వుంటే బావుండేదేమో.!
Minister Harish Rao Counters YS Sharmila’s Political Announcement
YS Sharmila Reddy, sister of AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Tuesday announced that she is set to join active politics and float her party in Telangana. Her announcement of a new political party in Telangana has got mixed reactions.
While the fans of late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy welcomed her decision, ruling party TRS and other political parties have suggested Sharmila to stay out of the Telangana politics.
Recently Minister Harish Rao has given a counter to YS Sharmila on the latest development. Speaking to media after inaugurating a farmer’s forum in Kandi village in Sangareddy district on Wednesday, Harish Rao said that someone is coming and talking about what justice has been done to the farmers in Telangana. He indirectly said that Sharmila is shedding crocodile tears in Telangana. Do the real people have a minimum knowledge of Telangana? he questioned.
The minister also mentioned about the policies and welfare schemes that TRS government has been implementing in the state ever since it came to power. Seems like the ruling TRS party is not happy with Sharmila’s decision.
Buzz: Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli to work on a larger-than-life action thriller
Last year, SS Rajamouli confirmed that he would be collaborating with Mahesh Babu for his next project. In all likelihood, Rajamouli will start the pre-production works for his next with Mahesh after he completes RRR.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Rajamouli and his father Vijayendra Prasad have come up with a larger-than-life action thriller subject for Mahesh’s film.
Apparently, Rajamouli and Mahesh will be working on a jungle-based adventure flick. The project will be mounted on a massive scale with a huge budget.
It is said that film will have African forests backdrop and Vijayendra Prasad is presently working on the screenplay.
Reports claim that this highly exciting film will have visuals and images which have never been seen in Indian cinema up until now.
Even Mahesh Babu is said to be excited about the project as he is amused by the theme and the backdrop.
The unit is expected to commence filming from the end of 2022. The film would obviously cater to pan-India audience and it will be on the lines of Hollywood classic Indiana Jones.

CPM activists chanted slogans against Vijaysaireddy in Vizag
As the Center began efforts to privatize the Vizag Steel plant, an all-party-led protest was started today to thwart those attempts.
Speaking to Vijayasai, CPM activists and affiliate workers objected to the privatization of the Vizag Steel plant. Vijay Sai Reddy commented that efforts should be made to stop the privatization.
He added that sometimes the goal would be met, and sometimes it would not be met. After listening to this, the workers started chanting slogans against him. His speech was blocked by the CPM activists.
Other YCP MLAs, including MP Vijay Sai Reddy and Minister Avanti Srinivas, were also present at the meeting. Vijay Sai Reddy’s car was stopped by the agitators. Eventually, with the help of the police, he left.

Exclusive: VV Vinayak Turns Down Bellamkonda Suresh’s Request
Prabhas and SS Rajamouli‘s first collaboration ‘Chatrapathi’ was an out-and-out action film that turned out to be a tremendous hit at the box office. The film is now all set to be remade in Hindi, and Bellamkonda Sreenivas is set to make his Bollywood debut with this remake. The remake will be directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Jayantilal Gada’s Pen Studios.
After Bellamkonda Sreenivas‘ last outing Alludu Adhurs bombed at the box office, there was a pressure on director VV Vinayak to change the script of ‘Chatrapathi‘ remake. If the reports are believed, ace producer Bellamkonda Suresh is forcing the director to modify the script. However, Vinayak refused to change the script as it damages the soul of the story.
Undoubtedly, ‘Chatrapathi’ is a strong script with much-needed mass and action sequences that Bellamkonda Sreenivas needed for his Hindi debut. Seems like Vinayak is not ready to draw negativity by penning the story as the hero wanted.
Meanwhile, it was heard that no Bollywood heroine is evincing interest to romance the Rakshasudu actor in his Hindi debut. However, an official confirmation regarding this news is awaited at the moment.
Twitter seeks dialogue with IT Minister after order to block 1,178 accounts
New Delhi: Twitter on Tuesday said it is seeking formal dialogue with the Information Technology Minister after the government ordered it to take down 1,178 accounts for allegedly spreading misinformation around farmers’ protests.
The microblogging platform also noted that safety of its employees is a “top priority”.
“We continue to be engaged with the Government of India from a position of respect and have reached out to the Honourable Minister, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, for a formal dialogue,” a Twitter spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added that an acknowledgement to the receipt of the non-compliance notice has also been formally communicated.
The government, on February 4, had ordered Twitter to block 1,178 accounts with links to Pakistan and Khalistan supporters that were spreading misinformation and provocative content on farmers’ protest.
Previously, too, the government had ordered Twitter to take down handles and hashtags that suggested a farmer genocide was being planned, saying such misinformation and inflammatory content will incite passion, and impact public order.
It has also warned Twitter of penal action in case of failure to comply with its directive and had cited sections that provide for fine and jail for up to 7 years.
Notably, Twitter’s Public Policy Director for India and South Asia Mahima Kaul has quit, fuelling speculations about her departure amid the ongoing situation.
However, the company has clarified that this was not the case.
“At the start of this year, Mahima Kaul decided to step down from her role as Twitter Public Policy Director for India and South Asia to take a well-deserved break. It’s a loss for all of us at Twitter, but after more than five years in the role we respect her desire to focus on the most important people and relationships in her personal life,” Twitter Vice President Public Policy Monique Meche said.
Meche added that Kaul will continue in her role till the end of March and will support the transition.
In an emailed response, a Twitter spokesperson said the company reviews every report it receives from the government as expeditiously as possible.
It will “take appropriate action regarding such reports while making sure we hold firm to our fundamental values and commitment to protecting the public conversation. An update is shared through our established channels of communication with the Government,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson emphasised that the company strongly believes that the open and free exchange of information has a positive global impact, and that the tweets must continue to flow.

AP HC gave permission to Minister Peddireddy to speak to the media
The High Court has struck down the restrictions imposed by the Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission on AP Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy. The court granted permission to Minister Peddireddy to hold a media conference.
The High Court has clarified that the restrictions imposed by the Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar on Peddireddy not to hold media conferences are invalid. Recently, the court issued the verdict allowing him to speak to the media.
It is learned that in the wake of the Panchayat elections, Nimmgadda Ramesh Kumar restricted Minister Peddireddy from speaking to the media. With this, Minister Peddireddy was given the freedom to speak to the media.

Pushpa unit recently wrapped up a hectic schedule in Maredumilli forest region and the shoot will be resumed again in specially erected sets in Hyderabad.
Speaking about her experience while shooting for Pushpa, Rashmika made an interesting revelation.
“Visual presentation is going to be the main asset of Pushpa. Also, the physical appearance of the lead cast will have a lot of prominence. It is taking over 2 hours for me and Allu Arjun to put on the make-up and get our looks right. That speaks a lot about the efforts that we are putting in,” she commented.
Rashmika added that shooting for Pushpa has been a demanding challenge and she is up for it.
The Kannada beauty will be seen as a village belle in Pushpa. Needless to say, she is sporting a de-glam look in the film.
Pushpa is gearing up for release on 13th of August. Sukumar is directing the film and Mythri Movie Makers are producing it.
