Uppada Coastal Protection Project Launched by Pawan Kalyan

The long-standing dream of the people of Uppada has finally turned into reality. The Coastal Protection Project, worth ₹323 crore—the largest amount ever sanctioned for infrastructural development in a single village in India—has officially commenced, thanks to the determined efforts of Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan.
For years, sea erosion has been devastating Uppada, destroying homes, roads, and livelihoods. Despite numerous promises, little action was taken until Pawan Kalyan championed the cause, repeatedly pushing the Central Government. The massive project was cleared just two months after the proposal became official.
With strong regional support from Kakinada MP Uday and Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh, the project also aims to revive Uppada’s handloom industry by providing access to international markets and developing a scenic beach corridor to boost the local economy. Fishermen and weavers express relief, acknowledging that this lifeline has been secured through Pawan Kalyan’s dedication.
TDP’s Varma has also been actively engaging with locals, listening to the community’s concerns firsthand. His commitment was highlighted when he nearly got swept away by a strong wave while inspecting affected areas—a moment that went viral on social media.
Officials note that this is the first time in India such a large sum has been allotted for the protection of a single village. The project will safeguard Uppada for generations, addressing the challenges of climate change and rising sea levels.
During the 2024 election campaign, Pawan Kalyan had emphasized at a massive public meeting in Uppada that only a comprehensive plan backed by advanced technical expertise and Central Government support could provide a permanent solution to the region’s sea erosion problem.
This landmark achievement underscores the impact of committed leadership. Once again, Pawan Kalyan has proven himself to be a leader of action, not just words.

The actor achieved this impressive physique through three months of intensive overseas training, which included gym workouts, yoga, martial arts, and meditation. He has now returned to filming his upcoming racing thriller Sharwa36, directed by Abhilash Kankara, in Hyderabad.
In addition, Sharwanand will soon resume shooting for Nari Nari Naduma Murari’s final schedule and Bhogi, directed by Sampath Nandi, which has completed its first schedule. With these diverse projects, the actor promises to offer audiences a spectacular visual experience across different genres.
Bunny Vaas’ Remark on Allu Ramalingaiah Draws Criticism

Praising mentors and well-wishers is nothing new in the film industry. It’s part of the culture to acknowledge those who shaped one’s journey. But sometimes, overenthusiastic words can backfire—as seen at the Little Hearts success meet.
Producer Bunny Vaas, in his attempt to glorify Allu Aravind, ended up making a remark that drew flak. While highlighting Aravind’s greatness, he unintentionally downplayed the contribution of legendary comedian Allu Ramalingaiah, a stalwart who had already left an indelible mark on Telugu cinema.
According to Bunny Vaas, Ramalingaiah rose to star comedian status only after Aravind was born. The statement sounded odd, considering Ramalingaiah had built his name decades earlier and was already a household favorite long before Aravind ventured into production.
Film observers quickly pointed out that Ramalingaiah not only carved his own space but also guided Geetha Arts in its early days. In fact, Aravind was once better known as “Ramalingaiah’s son” before establishing his own identity as a producer in the 1980s.
That’s why Bunny Vaas’ comment has been criticized as an unnecessary exaggeration. Fans and critics alike feel that such statements risk undermining the rich legacy of legends who stood tall on their own merit.

Telangana Techie Shot Dead by Police in California

A 30-year-old Indian techie from Telangana, Mohammed Nizamuddin, was shot dead by police in California after allegedly stabbing his roommate earlier this month. While U.S. officials described it as an officer-involved shooting during a violent confrontation, his family has alleged racial discrimination and demanded an impartial investigation.
According to the Santa Clara Police Department (SCPD), officers responded to a 911 call on September 3 about a stabbing incident. They said Nizamuddin was found inside his residence armed with a knife and allegedly pinning down his injured roommate. Police opened fire, and he was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The roommate was hospitalized with injuries. The incident is currently under joint investigation by SCPD and the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office.
However, Nizamuddin’s family contests the police account, claiming he had been the one who initially called 911. They allege he was subjected to systemic racial harassment in the U.S. and that these circumstances must be included in the probe.
A postgraduate in Computer Science from a Florida college, Nizamuddin was employed at a tech company in Santa Clara. His relatives described him as quiet, religious, and vocal against discrimination. They also pointed out that he had earlier complained of food poisoning, forced eviction, and even surveillance by a detective.
Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) spokesperson Amjed Ullah Khan, after meeting Nizamuddin’s father, said he has written to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar urging the intervention of the Indian Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the Consulate in San Francisco. The family has also sought help to bring his mortal remains back to India.
