PM Modi, Jagan And KCR To Receive Covid-19 Vaccine Shots
The largest vaccination drive in India was launched on January 16 with healthcare workers and others at the frontline receiving shots of two vaccines – Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin and Serum Institute of India’s Covishield.
So far, as per data of Union Health Ministry, a total of 7,86,842 people in India have been vaccinated for the deadly virus as on 20 January 2021. The government is currently giving vaccines to about 3 crore healthcare and frontline workers in the country.
As per the update, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, AP CM YS Jagan, Telangana CM KCR and all Chief Ministers, MPs and MLAs in the country will be vaccinated in the second phase of the Covid vaccination drive. In the second phase, it is the turn of those above 50 and people with comorbidities to take shots.
Ahead of the vaccination campaign, PM Narendra Modi, at a meeting with Chief Ministers had said that politicians should not rush to take the Covid-19 vaccine shot rather they should wait for their turn.
Bombay HC Rejects Sonu Sood’s Plea Against BMC
It is known that actor Sonu Sood’s building in Mumbai is facing demolition by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. The BMC issued notice to the actor for carrying out architectural changes to a residential building in suburban Juhu without permission.
On October 27 2020, the BMC had issued a notice under Section 53 (1) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act to Sonu Sood and his wife Sonali, granting them a month to restore the building as per its initial plan or get permission for the changes made.
Challenging BMC notice, the actor had approached the city civil court seeking a stay on the BMC notice. However, he got no relief in civil court and he moved the high court against the order on December 19.
The Bombay High Court today dismissed an appeal and an interim application filed by Sood against the BMC notice. While dismissing the actor’s plea, Justice Chavan said, “The ball is now in the office of the BMC.” The complete order will be available in due course.

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, who welcomed their baby daughter on January 11, has made their first public appearance since the daughter’s birth.
The star couple was clicked by the paparazzi in Mumbai while they were on their way to a doctor’s clinic. The gorgeous Anushka was seen in a blue denim shirt and matching denim jeans. Siddipet challenge for Harish Rao
With the Siddipet municipal polls round the corner, the political heat is rising in the town. The town has become very important as KCR himself represented Siddipet assembly constituency for four times and his nephew Harish Rao has been representing after KCR shifted to other places.
With TRS fortunes on the downslide especially after the debacles in Dubbak and GHMC elections, there is heightened interest in Siddipet. A resurgent BJP is challenging the ruling TRS and the BJP has already started its house-to-house contact in the town. The party hopes to improve its tally this time and is planning to defeat the ruling TRS. There is a rising anti-TRS tide in Siddipet, but analysts say Harish Rao’s personal charisma will carry the day. His accessibility and approach will definitely help the TRS.
Meanwhile, there is a possibility that the number of wards in Siddipet could be increased from 34 to 43. This would be done in view of the rising population in the town. The population has been growing ever since Siddipet has been made the district headquarters.
KGF’s climax portion shot on a mammoth budget
The last 30 minutes, including the climax portion of KGF Chapter 1 stood as cornerstone of the film and if the latest reports are to go by, Prashant Neel has designed a similar climax for Chapter 2 as well.
Reportedly, the climax portion of KGF Chapter 2 was shot on a mammoth budget of Rs 12 crores.
The climax of KGF Chapter 2, featuring Yash and Sanjay Dutt will be filled with high-octane action sequences. VFX, and CGI were extensively used to further enhance the output and the makers had to shell out big bucks to get the desired results. Also, massive sets were erected for shooting purpose.
KGF 2 has reportedly done excellent pre-release business and the producers have recovered most of their investment already.
There are rumors that KGF 2 will be out in theatres this summer but the makers are yet to officially announce the release date.
Coming to Prashant Neel, he is presently busy with pre-production works of Prabhas’s Salaar. The project will hit the floors next month.

సోనుసూద్ కు బాంబే హైకోర్టు షాక్ ఇచ్చింది. బృహన్ ముంబయి కార్పొరేషన్ ఇచ్చిన నోటీసులను హైకోర్టులో సవాల్ చేస్తూ సోనూ దాఖలు చేసిన పిటిషన్ను హైకోర్టు కొట్టివేసింది. జుహూలో ఉన్న తన ఆరు అంతస్తుల భవనం విషయంలో సోనూసూద్, బీఎంసీకు మధ్య వివాదం కొనసాగుతోంది. ఈ భవనాన్ని అనుమతులు లేకుండా హోటల్గా మార్చారంటూ గతేడాది అక్టోబర్లో బీఎంసీ అధికారులు సోనూసూద్కు నోటీసులు పంపించారు. ఈ నోటీసులపైనే సోనుసూద్ హైకోర్టులో సంప్రదించారు.
విచారణలో భాగంగా.. ఈ విషయమై సోనుసూద్ కు ఎన్నో నోటీసులు పంపించినా స్పందించలేదని బీఎంసీ అధికారులకు న్యాయమూర్తికి విన్నవించారు. గతంలో కూడా సోనుకు చెందిన భవనాలను అక్రమ కట్టడాలుగా కూల్చేసామని విన్నవించారు. ఈ ఆరోపణలను సోనుసూద్ ఖండించారు. ఆ భవనాన్ని హోటల్ గా మార్చేందుకు అవసరమైన ‘ఛేంజ్ ఆఫ్ యూజర్’ అనుమతులు తీసుకున్నట్టు తెలిపారు.
ఇరువైపు వాదనలు విన్న న్యాయమూర్తి పృథ్వీరాజ్ చౌహాన్ నటుడు సోనుసూద్ పిటిషన్ ను కొట్టివేశారు. బీఎంసీ అధికారులు నోటీసులు పంపించినప్పుడే ఎందుకు స్పందించలేదని ప్రశ్నించారు. ఇప్పటికే ఎంతో ఆలస్యం చేశారు కాబట్టి తాము చేయగలిగిందేమీ లేదని.. బీఎంసీనే సంప్రదించాలని న్యాయమూర్తి సూచించారు.
N Chandrababu Naidu And Ramesh Kumar Reacts On HC Verdict
The AP High Court on Thursday has given its nod for holding local bodies elections in the state. Reacting to the HC verdict, State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has expressed his happiness and said the elections would be held in 4 phases as per the High Court orders.
Ramesh Kumar said that they will hold panchayat elections on the 5th, 9th, 13th and 17th of next month. The Electoral Code is already in force in rural areas. He also said that welfare programs affect people and he has taken this issue to Cheif Secretary of AP. The government has already announced that it will co-operate in the elections. We will hold a meeting with CS, DGP, collectors and SPs soon, SEC Ramesh Kumar told media.
On the other, the opposition parties in the state welcomed the court verdict on Thursday. TDP chief and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu held a press meet in Amravati and welcomed the High Court verdict. CBN criticised the AP government for their continuous efforts to prevent the elections. He advised the AP DGP to respect the uniform and act according to the constitution. The former CM also cited that justice will not change with the change of judges in the court.
