Rashmika To Romance Nageswara Rao!
Geetha Govindam director Parasuram has finalized his next with Naga Chaitanya for 14 Reels Plus banner. He was reportedly paid a whopping Rs. 8 Cr for the film.
Parasuram is going to make another light hearted romance comedy and is trying to rope in Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
Rashmika is too busy at the moment, but she may not say ‘No’ to the director that gave her the first biggest blockbuster in Telugu film industry.
Meanwhile, Nageswara Rao has been registered as the title for the film at Film Chamber. This is an interesting choice as Naga Chaitanya gets to play the role named after his late legendary grandfather.
Chay is currently busy with wrapping up Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story and he will do Nageswara Rao in parallel with another film.
Everybody Wants Deverakonda, But No One’s Returning The Favour!
Vijay Deverakonda is arguably the fastest rising star in Telugu Cinema industry. He may not have had any big hits post Geetha Govindam, but he has a loyal fan base among youngsters.
Telugu Film Industry(TFI) is aware of his craze among the youth which is why many top celebs invite him for their movie events and some other launching events.
Vijay is generous enough to spare time for any event that he is invited, but none of them are trying to return the favour when he needs them.
For instance, no one tweets about Vijay’s movies or trailers. It doesn’t cost anything for the superstars to put one tweet about Vijay’s films. However, they don’t do that for some reason.
The World Famous Lover actor is reportedly disappointed with this ‘use and ignore’ attitude of Tollywood top celebs. He has expressed his displeasure with a noted producer.
He is disappointed that no one is coming forward to extend their helping hand to promote his films while he is willing to do it for them.
Sharwanand’s Worst Fears Come True!
Sharwanand was skeptical to talk about Jaanu prior to its release. He was reluctant to give solo interviews to media as he feared that the film may get backfired due to the comparisons with its original, which was a cult classic.
He was aware that people would draw comparisons with Vijay Sethupathi’s performance and strategically underplayed without making any big statements.
His last two films turning out to be duds also had him on the back foot for Jaanu. His worst fears seem to have come true as Jaanu is heading for a big flop at the box office.
The film had a dismal first weekend and the Monday collections were even worse. The film’s theatricals were valued at Rs. 22 Cr and the buyers are staring at hefty losses already.
It is third flop in a row for Sharwanand as his last two films Ranarangam and Padi Padi Leche Manasu also have bitten dust at the box office.
His career graph was going up with back to back hits until PPLM happened. His upcoming film Sreekaram needs to click for Sharwanand to get back in the race.
He cannot afford another flop at this juncture.
Cops get tweet against Anasuya removed
Hyderabad: After a popular TV anchor complained about an abusive post against her on a social media platform, Cyber Crime police of Hyderabad acted swiftly and got the post removed.
Abusive content was posted from a Twitter handle about Telugu television anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj on Monday.
One of her followers tagged Hyderabad cyber crime police and the anchor.
“We have sent notices to Twitter and got the abusive content about the anchor and another actress removed. We also sought details of the twitter handle to identify the person posting abusive content,” ACP, cyber crime, KVM Prasad said.

All through last year, Tollywood big stars had invited Kannada cinema’s rising director Prasanth Neel to Hyderabad and asked him to narrate the stories.Back then media wrote dozens of articles about various combinations with this director. Kia Agreed For 80 pc Local Jobs, Not 75 pc
The news about Kia Motors proposal to move out of Andhra Pradesh to Tamil Nadu flashed by a leading news agency – Reuters – is seen as a conspiracy against the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.
The government is also not able to understand what went wrong for Reuters to flash the news, except concluding that it was a conspiracy by the TDP.
The government, despite the shock, had clarified the issue. The TN government too denied any such proposal under its consideration.
The Kia Motors too had denied the reports and issued a rejoined. The Reuters withdrew the news from the portal and the related tweet in the social media.
But, the TDP and its media have continued the campaign on Kia and justified that the ruling YSR Congress was blackmailing the Kia to give 75 per cent of the jobs to the local people and it was under this pressure, the Kia wanted to move out of the State.
While it is practically not possible for the Kia to lift its massive plant from AP and shift it to TN or close this plant here and invest in a new plant elsewhere, the TDP continues to spread false news to make people believe it.
The denial by the AP and TN governments and rejoinder by Kia itself and the withdrawal of the news by the Reuters, did not stop the TDP to push forward its misleading campaign.
The base for the campaign is the 75 per cent jobs to the locals. The Kia is finding it difficult to fulfil the 75 per cent jobs to the locals, a law made by the Jagan government and being misused by the ruling party leaders.
But, the fact is that the Kia had agreed to give “80 per cent of the employment to the local people in the State of Andhra Pradesh in respect of all unskilled jobs.”
This agreement was reached between the Kia and the State government and the same was mentioned in the GO MS No 40, dated March 8, 2017.
There are other conditions laid by the government and agreed by the Kia besides the incentives offered to the company.
This is how the TDP and its media carries out the misleading campaign against the government and chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy as a person, despite there are no takers.

Allu Arvind And Vijay Devarkonda To Score Hat-Trick
One of the happening heroes in Tollywood is none other than Vijay Devarakonda and he got so lucky that early in his career he has worked with a big media house like Geetha Arts. Both Taxiwala and Geetha Govindam became best films of Vijay’s career, while the later one went on to become his highest grosser so far.
Apparently Vijay is said to have signed a three film contract with Geetha Arts, as this producer is known for that. Earlier the likes of Tamanna and couple of directors like Maruthi have signed a similar deal with them when accepting their first film with the production house. And so, when is Vijay going to team up with GA again?

While Taxiwala is helmed by debutant Rahul Sankrityan, Geetha Govindam is made by struggling Parasuram back then. So who will be directing this third time collaboration, a hat-trick, of Geetha And Vijay is to be seen now.
KGF Chapter 2: Bollywood Actress Is New Addition
One of the biggest blockbusters of last year, KGF is gearing up for its much-anticipated sequel this year. Yash’s KGF directed by Prashanth Neel ruled the box office all over in four languages and turned out to become the biggest of all Kannada cinemas so far.
In KGF: Chapter 2, there is the latest addition. Bollywood’s yesteryear beauty queen Raveena Tandon is all set to shoot for KGF and the actress herself announced it with a picture of herself and Prashanth together.
While there are rumors that she is going to appear in the lady prime minister role during the time era, there were also rumors that she will be playing a cop role, named Ramika Sen.
Sanjay Dutt already joined the shoot and almost finished his part for KGF Chapter 2.
The gripping screenplay and the making of KGF simply took over everyone and also the performances by Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Achyuth Kumar and Malavika Avinash in crucial roles.
She Is Confirmed For Pawan’s Film, But Not As Lead
It has earlier come out that ‘Kanche’ beauty Pragya Jaiswal is being roped in as a heroine for Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie, but then the sources close to movie unit condemned it as a rumour. But director Krish is said to be insisting on taking her, and here’s the latest update doing rounds about it.
Though Pragya has done a couple of Telugu movies in 2014, she got the much-needed breakthrough with Krish’s Kanche in 2015. Later the actress featured in half dozen movies in Telugu, but unfortunately, she didn’t score another hit. Upset with the way her career is going, the law graduate from Madhya Pradesh stopped accepting movies until Krish gave her a promise to help her out.
Due to that, now Krish is said to be roping in Pragya Jaiswal for Pawan Kalyan’s movie, but she will not be playing any lead role. Either it will be like a single item song with Pawan and couple of scenes or a full length character role she will be getting from this project.
That being a period film set in Nizam era, surely there will be many characters that will have proper author backed strength, and Pragya is trying to capitalise on her acting prowess than glamour now.
Council Office Sends Back ‘Select Committees’ File
The office of AP Legislative Council has sent back the file of ‘Select Committee’ and added that under 154, appointing Select Committee is not valid. Learning about this, TDP, BJP and PDF party MLCs have met Council secretary and urged him to abide by the decision of the Council chairman who referred CRDA and ‘Three Capitals’ bills to the Select Committees.
The oppositions are intending to serve Council Contempt notices in case the ‘Select Committees’ are not appointed after receiving the file from the Council Chairman. The TDP MLCs are planning to issue the contempt notices on Tuesday morning.
Surprisingly last week minister Bugganna had stated that he and another minister Botsa would head the ‘Select Committees’ and very soon they would meet.
Seems like the YSRCP government is taking a new approach to tackle TDP which has stalled the ‘Three Capitals’ bill in the Legislative Council.
