Tuglaqi Jagan: RSS’ ‘Organizer’ Attacks Jagan’s Rule
Rashtriya Swayamsevak castigated Jagan’s rule of eight months, through an article in its official weekly magazine ‘Organiser’. In the opinion column of the magazine, the writer voiced about the protests on the ‘three capital’ model of Jagan and suggesting it is time that the Central government needs to intervene and stop the mayhem in the state. The article is titled ‘Tuglaqi Jagan’.
Chandrababu’s Notification – Jagan’s Gratification
Blaming Chandrababu Naidu for not issuing a gazette notification for the capital as Amaravathi giving prominence to publicity, which further left the state of AP without a capital in the map released by center on first day of November last year, the ‘organizer’ article also mentioned that Chandrababu’s intention was to build a world-class capital for Andhra Pradesh.
Alleging Jagan misused the glitch of not issuing a gazette notification, for his own gratification. It said he forcefully made the bill pass in assembly, though all the political parties and people have been opposing and protesting from the last 30 days.
Vengeance Politics
Taking a dig at Chandrababu also, the article mentioned how Chandrababu pooled the 30 thousand acres of land though he planned a 50K acre, but failed to construct the capital as he earlier planned. Instead, the ‘insider trading’ allegations on him gained much strength, for which the people voted against him in the 2019 election. It
The ‘Tuglaqi Jagan’ spits fire on Jagan’s rule and 3 capital model, calling it a vengeance policy but not an act of an intelligent CM, as he could not give a rational explanation on why he brought in the multiple capital proposal. Further criticizing Jagan’s 3 Capital model, it said the state is already indebted of more than 2.5 lakh crores and now to develop infrastructure in new capitals, it needs 3000 crore rupees more.
Also lambasting Jagan’s personal rivalry with Chandrababu as a reason for the capital shift, the article mentioned that it was not there on Jagan’s election manifesto. Asking why the leaders from YSRC rubbished all the rumors about capital change if Jagan wins the election, it said that the people who voted for Jagan are feeling conned.
Decentralization – Delusion
The article writer differs with the statement of ‘Development decentralization with Decentralized rule’ referring to how a bigger state like UP has government working from Lucknow and also the Tamil Nadu with Chennai as capital developed their states.
‘Tuglaqi Jagan’ asks the AP Government to prove and punish the culprits in insider trading, but shifting the capital is purely irrational, it said.
‘Juglaq’ – Centre Should Intervene
According to the writer of ‘Tuglaqi Jagan’, the people of AP have coined a new word ‘Juglaq’, with a combination of infamous ruler of India centuries back, Tuglaq and AP CM Jagan. Suggesting that the capital city needs proper planning to attract investments by proper use of existing lands, the writer says shifting capital won’t help Jagan in any way, but only to deride Chandrababu.
In a conclusion of admonishing Jagan’s policies, the writer feels that the Central government needs to intervene in the ‘capital’ chaos and also felt that the present situation will help BJP get stronger in the Andhra Pradesh.
Nenu Okka Saiga Cheste.. : Balayya Warns YSRC
The YSRC activists protest at Balakrishna’s convoy in Hindupur Rahamat circle, raising slogans ‘Rayalaseema Drohi’ has become a sensation and what surprised many is the actor-politician confining himself in the car instead of doing what he usually does. Balayya’s convoy was blocked as he stood with TDP’s word on ‘One State – One Capital’, that contradicts with Three capital model suggesting Kurnool as the judicial capital.
After a long time, Balayya decided to speak on the issue. As expected he came up with a cinematic dialogue ‘Nenu Okka Saiga Cheste..’ (Just one gesture would have been enough..), when he said that there were over 1000 supporters of him and there were just 20 of YSRCP activists on the road rage at Hindupur.
Warning YSRC not to consider his silence as incapability, he claims to have maintained the restraint because getting onto the roads to fight is not his policy, neither the culture. Balakrishna further alleged that ministers have been confusing the public with decentralization and once again underlined his support for Amaravathi as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Balayya said the development done by the TDP can be seen everywhere but alleged that YSRC is obstructing the development in its regime.
Balayya further criticized Jagan for abolishing the legislative council, which was brought back by Jagan’s father YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Balakrishna expressed confidence in TDP proving its strength in the upcoming local body elections in the state.
F9 Trailer: Rivalry Between Brothers!

In AP, 80 pc of people got their pensions by 8 AM
Perhaps for the first time in Andhra Pradesh, or rather in the country, the pensions from the government have reached almost 80 per cent of the beneficiaries before 8 o clock on the first day of the month on Saturday. This is not about the pensions paid to the retired employees.
This pension is the political promise of the parties that has become very attractive and crucial for every successive election in Andhra Pradesh.
The Jagan Mohan Reddy government had paid the pension to almost 80 per cent of the beneficiaries at their door step across the State, on the first day of the month.
Surprisingly, the payments were made by the village volunteers in the rural areas and the ward volunteers in the urban areas, before 8 AM.
In some cases, the pension was delivered at home to the beneficiaries even before they were up from the bed. The volunteers have knocked at the door and paid the pension.
This might not continue for the months to come and volunteers might opt to relax not to be so early to reach out to the beneficiaries, as they did today across the state.
This being the launch of the scheme, and several of the volunteers are the activists or sympathisers of the ruling party, some of them have handed over the pension to the beneficiaries before the sun rise, just to please both the leaders and the beneficiaries as well.
But, the arrangement to distribute the pension at door step on the first day of the month, was a welcome move. The mechanism will stand in place as the officials have set the records and ensured that the computers generate the payments as scheduled every month.
The enhanced pension of Rs 2,250 per month for the aged, was given today as promised by Jaganmohan Reddy during the election. He had promised to take this amount to Rs 3,000 by 2024 in phased manner.
A number of 6.11 lakh beneficiaries were identified to receive this pension, besides other categories of widows, disabled and sick persons.
KCR Reviving Federal Front Plan?
Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is said to be contemplating revival of his plan to float a federal front as an alternative to the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress party once again.
After the massive victory of the TRS in the recent municipal elections in the state, KCR has gained supreme confidence that there would be no opposition to the TRS at least for another two terms.
Since he had seen enough as the chief minister in the last five and a half years, he is now planning to leave the state to his son K T Rama Rao.
But since he is still active, KCR cannot remain idle in the state. So, he wants to shift his focus on to the Centre.
Last time, KCR had little time in building up the third political alternative and moreover, he could not assess the strength of the BJP. The political situation in the country was also not conducive for such a front.
Now, KCR sees there is an opportunity. With the BJP losing one state after the other to the regional parties in the last few months and the Congress still unable to gain strength, the TRS chief has come to an assessment that it is time to revive the federal front plan again.
According to a TRS leader, there is a chance that Arvind Kejriwal will retain power in Delhi; Mamata Banerjee will be back in West Bengal; DMK will replace the AIADMK in Tamil Nadu and Laloo Prasad Yadav is likely to emerge as a potential force in Bihar.
He is also likely to take advantage of the differences between TMC and the Congress in West Bengal and JD (S) and the Congress in Karnataka.
“If KCR can consolidate these forces in the next one year, there is every possibility that he might succeed in floating the third front,” the TRS source said.

Currently, the actor is busy shooting in Vizag for his upcoming film Solo Brathuke So Better. Nabha Natesh is the leading lady and Thaman is composing the music.
Directed by Debutant Subbu, Tej will be seen as a leader of Singles army in this youthful comedy Entertainer.
Scheduled to hit the screens on May 1st, the unit has decided to release a glimpse of the film for this valentine’s weekend.

Who’s Real Competitor To TRS?
The recent municipal elections in Telangana have established the fact that the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), headed by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, is an invincible force in the state and no opposition party is anywhere nearer to it.
It was totally a one-sided battle with the TRS winning more than 110 municipalities and all the 10 municipal corporations across the state, leaving the opposition Congress and BJP struggle for survival.
Now, the question is which of these two opposition parties are going give some competition to the TRS, if not dreaming of coming to power.
Going by the results in the municipal elections, the BJP gave a tough fight to the TRS compared to the Congress party.
In 2014, the BJP, despite having an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party, had won only 167 wards. This time, the BJP contested on its own and won as many as 240 wards and 80 divisions. It could establish its presence in 71 municipalities and seven corporations.
In 60 per cent of the municipalities, the BJP could win at least one seat. Even in KTR’s stronghold of Siricilla, the BJP opened its account with four seats. In around 400 wards and 200 divisions, the BJP stood second.
In terms of voting, while TRS had secured 1.63 lakh votes and stood at the top, the BJP stood second with 75,562 votes and the Congress finished poor third with 72,123 votes.
However, what the BJP is projecting is only the voting pattern in urban areas. The party performed very poorly in the gram panchayat, mandal parishad and zilla parishad elections, compared to the Congress party.
In the assembly elections, too, the Congress fared much better than the BJP. It clearly showed that in the rural areas, the Congress is still the next best choice for the voters after the TRS.
In any case, neither the Congress nor the BJP is likely to pose a big challenge to the TRS, going by their present strengths, unless something dramatic happens in the TRS and also a national level political scenario.
The Failure Story Of Two Telugu Bureaucrats
The Telugu people have seen two bureaucrats, taking voluntary retirement from their services and joining public life to serve them. Ironically or interestingly, whatever it may be, both of them have failed in their second innings.
It was first IAS officer Jayaprakash Narayana, who took voluntary retirement to serve people.
He was a successful bureaucrat as Collector in Prakasam district and played key role in the late N T Rama Rao’s regime of TDP.
He was admired by the youth and others and he enjoyed the highest level of worship by the people. Even the media too, for its own reasons, gave him greater importance.
Having seen all this, he took voluntary retirement from the service and started Lok Satta, as a service organisation.
A large number of youth joined him in the course of time and people offered voluntary service to the society along with him.
He then thought of politics and converted the Lok Satta into a political party.
He won the Assembly seat from Kukatpalli in Hyderabad while his party candidates all over the undivided AP, lost their deposits. He is now ignored and his identity is lost.
Then comes IPS officer from Maharastra cadre, V V Lakshminarayana, who called the shots as Joint Director of CBI, placed in Hyderabad.
He was used by the powers to fight against Jagan Mohan Reddy and his actions as CBI JD were given highest priority by the media for political reasons.
He became a role model for the youth and every educational institution had him as chief guest after he left CBI and went back to Maharastra cadre.
Looking at this publicity, he took voluntary retirement and floated several ideas about his political career.
Leaving his admirers aside, he joined the Jana Sena and contested unsuccessfully from Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency in the last elections.
Now, the image is gone, as was the case of his predecessor, Jayaprakash Narayana, and this one-time hot favourite of the Telugu youth, is finding it hard to have a dozen people around him these days.
Thus, the media lifted these two bureaucrats for its own reasons and dumped them for political reasons. Thus, the political parties backed them for their own reasons and finally dumped them on the streets.
Thus, the two bureaucrats have failed to use their own intelligence to make an assessment of the publicity that they were getting in the media and the support they were receiving from the political parties.
Ala.. Dil Raju Avoids Distributors Event?
Distributor Dil Raju is the true Sankranthi 2020 winner who pocketed huge with both the Sankranthi biggies. However, Raju’s silence and distance from Ala Vaikunthapurrammuloo continued the other day. While Ala team have celebrated the film’s magnanimous success – “Non-Baahubali success” – with its entire distributors, exhibitors and the team and invited all, its leading distributor Dil Raju gave it a miss. Raju’s absence was conspicuous in the wake of collections war between Allu Arjun’s AVPL and Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru.
From Allu Arjun to Trivikram Srinivas to producer Allu Aravind to another producer Radha Krishna and the film’s other cast and crew have attended. All prominent distributors came except Dil Raju. Irrespective of reasons for his absence, Raju is being criticized by Allu Arjun’s fans. Dil Raju’s absence has not gone down well with the die-hard mega fans who were already upset with him and his closeness with Sarileru team where he is maintaining stronger bond though he is distributing both the films. But many say that Raju should have at least make physical attendance.
Allu Arjun on his Instagram posted, ” #AVPL Shields Distribution Distribution with our Distributors, Exhibitors, Cast & Crew. Those smiles will be cherished for a long time. Whole heartedly thank everyone once again.”
What Happened To Anushka’s Assets?
There is an interesting talk going on about Baahubali siren Anushka Shetty in the film industry in connection with her real-estate investments. After working as a leading lady in Tollywood for more than a decade, surely the top siren would be amassing huge wealth we must say. And here is how she invested.
Apparently few sources revealed that earlier Anushka owned two premium 4BHK apartments in Hyderabad which she brought for nearly 5 crores in all. But during Telangana agitation times, she is said to have sold them off, feeling that prices in Hyderabad won’t surge further. But the same apartments she sold off are now re-sold for almost 10+ crores, a report says.
Similarly, Anushka is said to have bought many lands in Visakhapatnam area but sold almost 80% of them when Naidu focused on Amaravathi after 2014 elections. Worried Anushka has taken a hasty step to selling her lands but now real-estate in Vizag is booming, say observers.
Looks like either Anushka is in a hurry always or she has no futuristic thought at all.
I Want Others To Break Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Records -Allu Arjun
Earlier Stylish Star Allu Arjun has defended the ‘industry hit’ poster saying that he is only reciprocating the love to audiences who have showered their immense admiration on him by giving him a super-duper hit through Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. And now, he has something else to say about it.
Speaking of which at the new success meet of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo where the makers have given special trophies to distributors of the movie, Allu Arjun termed the ‘records’ as a passing phase. “Everyone knows that Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has beaten certain records and created some. But I want to clarify that these records are just a passing phase. I want others to break Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo records and then film industry will progress in the positive direction” he says.
Of course, this is a sensible line coming from Bunny as records of any film are only temporary as newer films will beat it, at one point or another.
