Watch Breaking : India Vs Newzealand 3rd T20 Scores Tied, Super Over To Decide
Aswathama To Start With Pawan Kalyan
Aswathama trailer is impressive and Naga Shaurya appeared super confident in the movie. The reason behind him producing it is his trust in the script he wrote. Apart from the concept, trailer and Shaurya’s acting, here is a topping in the form of Pawan Kalyan.
As revealed by Naga Shaurya, Aswathama’s story begins with the voice of Pawan Kalyan. The actor-politician is back to films, but he did not give his voice for this movie, but his dialogues from the movie Gopala Gopala will be used to introduce the concept of Aswathama. Well, this looks like a genuine need for a known voice to keep the intense introduction of the concept, but not like an idea to cash on Pawan Kalyan’s voice to attract the audience.
Anyway, the actor’s special voiceover might have done some difference in elevating the concept, but his dialogues from an old movie should blend as a part of the movie.
Naga Shaurya has evolved as a good actor in his journey from Oohalu Gusa Gusalade to the recent Oh Baby. Looks like the film Aswathama will be showing us the emotional acting of Naga Shaurya.
Aswathama is not Naga Shaurya’s screen name in the movie, but he will be seen as Guna. Naga Shaurya revealed that he developed this story based on a true incident. He chose the title ‘Aswathama’ as he questioned Draupadi Vastrapaharan in epic Mahabharata.
Nandamuri Hero Puts Anil Ravipudi In A Tight Spot?
Director Anil Ravipudi has openly revealed his admiration towards Nandamuri Kalyanram for giving him a chance to become a director when many big heroes have refused him. Though he tried the likes of Raviteja and others, finally it is Kalyanram who has even gone on producing that debut film ‘Pataas’ for the director.
However, after scoring a hit with Pataas, Anil has done films like Supreme, Raja The Great, F2 and now Sarileru Neekevvaru. Though he was expected to join hands with Kalyan Ram, that never happened. In the wake of Kalyanram scoring back to back duds after Pataas, his market has fallen into trouble and now add Entha Manchivadavaru result to it. Due to that crisis, we hear that Kalyanram has now requested to do a film for him in NTR Arts banner.
Whether that film will have Kalyan Ram in the lead or Jr NTR in the lead is yet to be known but then what call Anil Ravipudi will take is the curious thing now. Will Anil honour the code and take up a project to rescue Kalyan Ram?
Earlier, when Kalyanram made a similar request to Surender Reddy, to whom the hero gave a chance through Athanokkade which marked the director’s debut, the director gave him back Kick 2 which resulted in crores of rupees loss.

Currently, the biggest platform for many music lovers to play any song on their phone even when the phone’s internet streaming is low is none other than Amazon Music app only. And one of the popular list everyone loves to hear on this app is none other than “50 Most Played: India” list.
One of the super hit music albums that have rocked Tollywood in the recent times is none other than S Thaman’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo only. The film has Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the leads, and directed by Trivikram, has become a terrific hit at the box office too. And then, Thaman’s music is making everyone go merry, crazy and happy it looks like.
Cut to the Most Played 50 list, Samajavaragamana song is the No 1 song on this list being the most played song across India, while Buttabomma stood at 3rd place and Ramuloo Ramulaa is at 6th place. They say that these three songs got huge fans from other languages as well and they have become instant hits across the country. Coming to other songs, OMG Daddy is at 14, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo title song at 29th position and Sittharala Sirapadu at 34th place.
While Trivikram deserves appreciation for giving such beautiful inputs and inspiring everyone to come with nice tune and lyrics, Thaman is the master craftsman who should get all the applause.
Expert panel report suddenly turns a holy book!
Till the other day, the opposition parties, particularly the Telugu Desam Party, and their supporting media, had been attacking the six-member expert panel headed by retired IAS officer G N Rao for giving a tailor-made report to the YSR Congress party government led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in tune with the latter’s interests on the state capitals issue.
Reason: the excerpts of the G N Rao committee report, released to the media, suggested three capitals for the state with executive capital at Visakhapatnam.
While the Jagan cabinet accepted the report in toto, the TDP leaders condemned the same and even burnt the committee reports in bonfire during Sankranti festival.
Now, the same report has all of a sudden become a Bible for the pro-TDP media.
On Wednesday, both Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy unearthed the actual findings of the GN Rao committee report and published big stories on the same.
Apparently, the experts committee recommended against making Visakhapatnam an administrative capital because the city has huge limitations like Coastal Regulatory Zone rules, cyclone-prone areas, salination of ground water, security reasons and heavy industrial pollution.
It also reportedly pointed out that the availability of government lands is minimal in Visakhpatnam and already many companies are waiting for land allocations by the government.
Even with regard to Gangavaram port and Bhogapuram international airport, the committee suggested that the government should reconsider its idea of going in for new constructions.
While Eenadu carried it as an anchor story with detailed report in the second page, for Andhra Jyothy, it is a banner story.
One does not know whether somebody in the government has leaked the G N Rao committee report to only these two newspapers; it does not find a place in Sakshi and other papers.
Naturally for the two anti-establishment papers, such reports will come in handy to sustain their campaign against the Jagan government and in favour of Amaravati for some more time.
It remains to be seen how the government and the ruling YSRC will come out with their responses.
The petition filed by the daughter of former MP and YSR Congress party leader Y S Vivekananda Reddy seeking a CBI inquiry into the murder of her father has also become a big news for anti-government media.
The way she raised an accusing finger at her own close relatives, including Kadapa MP Y S Avinash Reddy, has provided the much-needed masala for the media.
Besides these negative stories, all the three dailies carried a positive report for the Jagan government on the front page: distribution of pensions to the beneficiaries at their doorstep with effect from February 1.
The other decisions taken at the “Spandana” programme of Jagan were also promptly highlighted by the media.
The other important decisions taken by the Jagan government like medical tests for one crore people and commencement of YSR Kapu Nestham figured prominently in Sakshi but ignored in the anti-establishment dailies which focussed on the Telugu Desam Party’s decision to raise the capitals issue in Parliament.
Fact Sheet: Legislative Council Imbroglio in AP
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly had adopted a resolution seeking repeal or abolition of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council. The resolution was sent to the Parliament through the Central government.
It might take weeks or months or years for the resolution to get the approval of the Central Cabinet, then Parliament and then the President, to dissolve the Council.
But, meanwhile, there is widespread debate across the State on the merits and demerits of the government’s decision and the good and bad sides of the politics.
Some say that decision to abolish the 58-member Legislative Council is wrong while some justify it.
Those who find it wrong argue that Jagan Mohan Reddy had 151 MLAs on hand and can bulldoze the Legislative Council. But it is just a matter of time.
He could have his word prevailed over the Council had he had the patience to wait for three months, where he can send back the bill to the Council or bring ordinance.
Or he could have waited for June 2021 to get majority in the Council, which will start dancing to his tunes. He did neither and went for its abolition.
Now, with the ball going into the Central government’s court, even Jagan Mohan Reddy does not know how long he would have to wait to get his word prevailed. He had given the option to the Central government now.
The big issue before him is that he had made promises of giving MLC seats to many of his supporters. He made this promise to several castes, which have no representation in any of the elected bodies.
He had now lost the chance to fulfil his promise and must find the ways to live up to the aspirations of those aspirants.
Some say that Jagan Mohan Reddy should have played politics when his opponent is playing politics. But, Jagan chose to play constitutional rights to checkmate his rival who is “unconstitutional.”
Those who try to blame Chandrababu Naidu for the development say that the TDP chief should not have misused his influence over the Council.
Now, he had lost another forum – the Council – to fight against the ruling party and stay alive in politics. Naidu’s political game had cost job to 34 of his MLCs and a forum too.
While Jagan lost the chance to win over the Council and his rivals, Chandrababu Naidu had lost a forum to fight and be relevant in today’s politics.
The two leaders have committed mistakes in their own way for their own political gains, not looking beyond the present situation.
Both of them played the game just for hegemony over the other and none of them looked a little far, may be beyond 2020.
Mega Heroes Clear Domination Of Telugu Box Office
Rajamouli’s costume drama has set the bar too high for Telugu movies to reach in the near future. Only Rajamouli’s #RRR looks capable enough to challenge the Baahubali Telugu version’s records.
Meanwhile, all other top tier heroes are fighting for ‘third’ place, which is now called as ‘Non-Baahubali’ record by the trade.
Besides Rajamouli’s phenomenal achievements and benchmarks, Non-Baahubali space is dominated by Mega family heroes from a long time.
First it was Chiranjeevi who breached the Rs. 100 Cr share mark after Baahubali movies to set a Non-Baahubali record and his son Ram Charan bettered it with Rangasthalam.
Later Chiranjeevi’s period drama Sye Raa Telugu version has collected more than Rangasthalam but had fell way short of Baahubali movies.
Prabhas was able to get there but only when its Hindi version collection is taken into consideration.
Now, Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has once again shown the mega power at the Telugu box office. All the three films that are next to Baahubali movies are from mega heroes only. Tarak and Mahesh are not into the top 5 list at the moment.
Mahesh’s Sarileru Neekevvaru will end up at sixth place with a wide gap between it and the fifth placed Rangasthalam.
#Nirbhaya: SC rejects mercy plea
The Supreme Court of India on Wednesday has rejected Nirbhaya case convict Mukesh Kumar Singh’s challenge against the President’s rejection of his mercy petition. A three-judge Bench led by Justices R. Banumathi, Ashok Bhushan and A.S. Bopanna said there is no merit in the contention.
President Ram Nath Kovind had rejected the mercy petition of Mukesh on January 17th and based on this, Mukesh knocked the Supreme Court. However, the court said the quick decision of President to reject the plea doesn’t mean the President did not take a hasty decision. All the documents related to Mukesh’s health and imprisonment were placed before him.
Mukesh also claimed that he was sexually assaulted in jail by inmates and reacting on this, the court said, “Alleged sufferings in prison can’t be grounds for mercy.”
The four convicts of Nirbhaya rape and murder, Mukesh Singh, Pawan Gupta, Vinay Kumar Sharma and Akshay Kumar are scheduled be to hanged on Saturday at 6 AM. But advocates of the convicts are continuously approaching the Supreme Court and filing curative petition which is the last legal recourse available to a person in a court of law.
The Centre has recently stated that strict guidelines should be drawn to disable death convicts from approaching the court and president for mercy. It stated that the convicts are misusing the loopholes in Law and delaying their penalty. The Supreme Court acknowledged this and added that is important that death penalty reached finality.
Nibhaya’s mother is still in doubts whether the hanging would be carried out on the above mentioned date.
Watch: ‘I Was Cheated by Filmmakers’
In a frank admission, the producer of “Pelli Choopulu” said that he was cheated by some movie celebrities in the Telugu film industry.
He lent finances to several filmmakers to initiate projects but he got duped by them. That is how Raj Kandukuri had learned ropes in the Telugu cinema industry.
“It was a costly lesson for me,” he admits.
Producer Raj Kandukuri who shot to fame with “Pelli Choopulu” and “Mental Madhilo” is now introducing his son Siva Kandukuri as the hero.
“Choosi Choodangane” is the debut film of Siva Kandukuri and the film hits the screens this Friday.
Raj Kandukuri, however, says he’s not launching his son as a hero.
“All I can say, I am producing an interesting love story that is directed by a newcomer with fresh ideas. My son happens to be the lead actor in the movie. This project was not designed for his launch. The director has selected him,” he explains.
A young woman director Sesha Sindhu is debuting with this new-age rom-com. Varsha Bollamma is playing the female lead role. Gopi Sundar has scored the music.
Raj Kandukri began his career as a salesman in Hyderabad and later dabbled into the businesses of TV stores, education institutes and granite business in the USA.
He turned producer in 2006 with a film on Lord Buddha in the direction of Allani Sridhar.
His father Late Sivananda Murthy (Warangal) was a great spiritual guru. Raj Kandukuri reveals that it was his father who initiated him to enter into film production.
Shocking: GN Rao committee said NO to Vizag
Time and again the YSRCP government has cited the reports of GN Rao committee and Boston Consultancy Group that the state needs to decentralize development and in order to do that, it must have three places for administration, jurisdiction and stuff.
But in a shocking fresh report, the GN Rao committee opposed the idea of having Vizag as one of the capitals and said that the beach city is prone to nature calamities which is not a good sign on a long run.
The committee report quoted that “Vizag is nature sensitive city. Due to the increasing global warming, the sea level is also spiking up and placing the government work places here is not a feasible idea. The master plan of ‘Vizag Metropolitan Region – 2041’ did not take into the consideration of drawbacks of the city being on the seaside which falls under Coastal Regulatory zones.”
The committee also added that because of the navy, steel plant and other industries, the city pollution is on the rise. The ground water is getting polluted and there are high chances of the sea water touching the ground water. This will make the city to struggle for water in the years to come.
Adding, the committee said even if the government wants to establish offices close to Vizag, it doesn’t have enough lands and so Vizag is no way suitable to become Executive Capital of the state.
The key information getting leaked to the media, rumours are coming that the biggies in the government deliberately released the information that is pro for ‘Three Capitals’ idea which CM Jagan wanted and hide the rest of details. But the facts won’t hide for long.
Now we have to see how the YSRCP government reacts and defends itself on the ‘Three Capitals’ especially citing many downsides of Vizag as ‘Executive Capital.’
Massive Multistarrer #RRR For Sankranthi 2021
This Sankranthi has proved how big it can get for Telugu Cinema Box Office. A cumulative gross collection over Rs. 400 Cr has taken everyone by surprise.
No wonder many upcoming biggies are aiming for Sankranthi 2021 release. But they will have to make way for Rajamouli’s massive multistarrer #RRR that is almost locked for Sankranthi 2021.
#RRR was supposed to release on July 30 this year, but the delays in shooting process pushed the film to October.
Dussera is a good season for cinema business but not great compared to Sankranthi and Summer.
Rajamouli is skeptical about October release from the start and has locked Sankranthi release after seeing the massive response at the cinemas this year.
If #RRR is scheduled for Sankranthi 2021, then many of the biggies that are aiming for the same date may go for Summer as not many would dare take on an SS Rajamouli’s film that has two of the biggest stars teaming up for the first time.

Cash-strapped Telangana seeks Central funds!
Telangana, which once claimed to be the richest state in the county, is facing severe financial crisis due to sharp reduction in revenues and also fall in the growth rate, so much that it is now desperately running after the Centre for liberal grants.
Telangana finance minister T Harish Rao on Tuesday handed over a letter written by chief minister K Chandrasekhar to 15th finance commission chairman Nanda Kishore Singh seeking Central funds for various development works undertaken by the State government.
The chief minister also requested that the Centre should provide financial assistance for maintenance of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme and Mission Bhagiratha.
He wanted the Centre to lift the curbs on borrowings and enhance the credit limit for the Telangana state so as to fund the infrastructure projects.
“The Chairman lauded KLIS and Mission Bhagiratha as some of the best projects in the country. Since the chairman will be submitting his report soon, I urged him to allocate funds for the maintenance of these two projects,” Harish Rao said.
Harish Rao pitched for Rs 19,000 crore for Mission Bhagiratha as recommended by the Niti Aayog. In addition, the Minister sought Rs 12,000 crore for maintenance of Mission Bhagiratha for the next five years.
He also sought Rs 5000 crore for speedy completion of Kalwakurthy and Nettempadu projects. With regard to Mission Bhagiratha, Harish Rao impressed upon the Commission chairman that the project was in line with the Central government’s proposed potable tapped water to every household in the country.
The finance commission has decided to hold its regional conference in Hyderabad considering the fact that the duration of the Commission has been extended for one more year.
